People (not here) hate on Gonzaga a little bit, but I actually like this Gonzaga team a lot. This team is good. I have them going to the E8 and I kind of regret maybe not having them go farther.

Kentucky didn't even win the game, Wofford just lost it. Fletcher Magee was 4-17 from the field and 0-12 from 3. If he didn't play Wofford probably would have won. It's honestly amazing the game was close at the end.

It depends if Bill goes 4-1 or 3-2 today. Auburn's starting 5 is:

Jared Harper - G 5'11 175

Bryce Brown - G 6'3 198

Malik Dunbar - G 6'6 230

Anfernee McLemore - F 6'7 220

Chuma Okeke - F 6'8 230

Dotson will be on Harper. After that, I have no idea how we'll match up. They have a big center, Austin Wiley 6'11 260, who comes off the bench. I could see Self starting 4 guards and bringing in DMac/Lightfoot in when Wiley comes in for Auburn. Defensively, Kansas doesn't deny the pass on the perimeter at all, and their switching and pick-and-roll defense is slow. Auburn is a quick team that will probably take advantage of that. And if they are comfortable passing on the perimeter it could translate to them making a bunch of 3's today. We'll see. We did a good job of defending the 3 against Northeastern but they aren't nearly as fast as Auburn is. Auburn is more like Iowa St who we haven't looked great against.

The Rupperees travel extremely well.

Fletcher Magee is the whitest name I've ever seen. That guy should be playing for Duke.

Wofford is doing well in the pet bowl so far.

Weirdly I'm feeling pretty good and not super anxious about the game today. It's nice to be playing without a lot of pressure.

I certainly wasn't expecting it to only be Wisconsin. The rest of the Big 10 went 7-0. You Badgers are getting teased a little by the rest of your conference for it. lol

@wissox He'll be guarded by Lawson so he'll probably have a good offensive game, but he'll also have to guard Lawson on the other end which won't be easy for him. Mitch would probably be able to do a decent job defensively on him.

I would start Marcus Garrett for this game and put him on Bryce Brown.

Mississippi St as a 5-seed was really bizarre to me, so I picked Liberty to win. They were a 10, now 11-loss team and their only top 25 win was a close home win against Auburn. Good job, Flames.

If NDSU got the same whistle Duke was getting they'd probably by up by a few points right now.

There was a good thread on reddit about Wisconsin being a useless sad factory after the game but it was removed by a moderator. I like how the rest of the Big 10 is mad at Wisconsin right now but everyone here is happy that KState lost.

That was the Big 10's first loss. I was not expecting it to be Wisconsin.

Big 12 is doing well minus KState, who, to be fair, wasn't favored by much over UC Irvine and didn't have Dean Wade. Makes me think even more that TCU should have made the tournament.

I usually pick Big 12 teams to advance but I couldn't bring myself to pick Baylor this season. Syracuse has a history of being a tournament troll and Baylor has a history of being Baylor. Of course the one time I don't pick Baylor they win.

@HighEliteMajor Ya he's not as tall or as good. I just meant that their play-styles are similar. And also that neither of them can jump.

So I don't know how many of you are familiar with Nikola Jokic, but he's a really good comp for Dedric Lawson right now. Dedric is like the college version of Jokic.

I'm so used to the round of 64 game being a stressful nightmare. That game was a leisurely breeze.

This Kansas team playing with less pressure than Kansas teams usually do probably helps. They seem pretty loose today.
