@JayHawkFanToo I found Boulevard brews waaaaay up here in Vermont! I was shocked! I heard about it being here from a coworker of all places and had to check it for myself. Talk about missing a taste of home. I mean, there are tons and tons of microbrews in Vermont. Really good ones too. It was just nice to see something from KC.

@jaybate-1.0 I dont pay close attention to recruiting. I dont much care about recruits 2 years out from graduating highschool. Its only when they become Seniors that I even get a bit interested. But, your hypothesis does bear some weight for support in my opinion.
Data can be reflected anyway the computer sees fit. High school players, recruits can be categorized and referenced just the same. I bet that if you put even more thought into it, that a third category could be made.
@RockkChalkk Unless I am misunderstanding, wouldnt Mudiay be categorized under #2 category? Super good, shaky transcript, late signee, had to bail out to play overseas.

Do we really want another Wayne Selden? A top 10 recruit that was a consensus OAD player coming out of HS that is still around as a junior doesn't exactly speak well for KU's ability to develop guards.
I seriously dont think you have to look very hard to find evidence of KU's ability to develop guards.
Off the top my head here's Chalmers, Collins, RussRob, Rush, Brady, Tyrel, Releford, Tyshawn, Wigs, Selden, Frank, Devonte, Svi.
My list included guys that made the NBA, guys that didnt but are playing elsewhere, and guys that are still "Developing" at KU right now. That word, develop, indicates time spent yah? Not just one semester or two.
Ok, so Wigs doesnt really qualify as develop but we got him and he was the first pick in the draft last year. Thats pretty significant to me.
@DanR The exception being that Selden wont translate to "The Truth" in the league. ;)
@truehawk93 Id love nothing more than to see Kentucky hoops go down in flames. I dont recall them having any issues with their "platoon" of OAD's getting qualified last season. I also call B.S.

Why do the Cavs list him as 7ft? Pretty sure he was 6'11" at KU at that was KU, we all know how KU likes to add an inch or two to the height of a player. No doubt Kaun is a big guy but a footer? IDK about that

@jaybate-1.0 Im on board with that idea. Pretty sure Mike is from Portland? Either way, it gives us a possible avenue for bringing west coast talent to Larrytown. Again, I also wonder if Mike would be given a call by Ole Roy and have to pick between directing one of his kids to UNC or to KU. I think it would be hard to pick one over the other. I mean Roy was his coach too and it seems he might be loyal to Roy and Bill. Nike and Adidas.
@brooksmd Btw, Sasha must be a very intelligent person of both mind and body. He knew if he went to the league in 08 that he may not last long so he went to Russia to develop and make bank. Flash forward 7 years and now he can realize his ultimate goal with little risk.

Former Kansas University guard Michael Lee is new head coach at Portland’s Roosevelt High. This is according to the KU sports site.
I am wondering if he will get any kids he can swing towards UNC or KU? He isnt AAU so would that be similar at all? In terms of athletes talented enough to get offered by a high elite school like UNC or KU.

Since Eubanks was deemed ineligible and not allowed to enroll at Bama AND went to the same school as Diallo.
Is it just a matter of time before the NCAA brings the hammer down on KU and Diallo?
