@kuballin10 It Was it me? Don't think so. Not just Auburn, Kentucky, LSU, Tennessee, Alabama. I will say though, didn't expect the sec to be this tough.

We have the technology...

Octagon of Room Game Thread • Jan 22, 2022 09:46 PM

We can make it better than it was before. Better, stronger, faster... 'Dn, nhh, nhh, nh!'

@Texas-Hawk-10 I was just joking you, anyway

Just tuned in. Could someone tell me what we did well? Telling me what we did bad would take too long it appears. Oof.

KU has 8 assists on 12 made FG's so they're sharing the ball and Davehas been aggressive when in. Beyond that, I got nothing positive about today so far.

Oh come on @Texas-Hawk-10 where is the Mr. Brightside that we have all come to know and love?

@DanR

After the week I've had this is just unreal. I'm the only one in the house without covid.

You'll be okay, you were vaccined if memory serves? If you do get it, it won't be much.

My birthday was January 3rd.

Octagon of Room Game Thread • Jan 22, 2022 09:31 PM

@Crimsonorblue22 Happy Birthday! People just say it sometimes, but really every year the day that you were born on is a big deal...

Non-KU Games • Jan 22, 2022 09:28 PM

@BShark Yeah, pretty tough sec this year.

Non-KU Games • Jan 22, 2022 06:42 PM

@drgnslayr so what do you think the answer is, if any? Serious question.

I don't know. I've always mentioned "chip"... but I don't know today and the youth and what it takes. I believe Bill wants to win and his record shows he's done a pretty good job of that at Kansas. I know he sees the softness and is not happy about it. In my day we were screamed at, humiliated, ran laps, even cleaned toilets. I don't think that works today, and kids will leave after the year and go somewhere else.

This is a very talented team but may be our softest team in the Bill Self era. I feel like we are fortunate to have as many wins as we have. We have been very fortunate though I think with our current softness we can't expect to keep piling up so many wins.

I'm encouraged by Wilson's play of late. He's a dog, when he wants to be.

@Kcmatt7 There's something wrong with Kenpom when they rate 5 teams ahead of Wisconsin that Wisconsin has beat! I don't study those things too much but it's pretty sketchy to see all those numbers and click on the far left column for rank and see them 25.

At last check I think the Badgers were #8 nationally.

I realize that we are in full swing, but always like to look forward to the following season while now taking into account possible portal transfers and additions, etc.

With that in mind, what are your best guesses for our starting 5 next season and first 5 (though I realize that Self rarely plays 10) off the bench? Who do you think will leave? What should we add?

Zuby should be about 35 or 40, somewhere there abouts right?

That's what he is on 247

70s is comedy for him. Think he contributes next year. Gonna be a war for post minutes.

No doubt. And we haven't even been talking about Clemence who can also play.

@BeddieKU23 priceless indeed. After CB buries it the guy is like, "..damn.."

Some Post OU Musings • Jan 19, 2022 03:29 AM

Yeah, I've had my Jesus is Real moment too. Wilson has given us two solid games in a row scoring wise (the lights have come back on), and as usual rebounds. I am amending my position, think it be a no-brainer to try and get Wilson to stay if he wants to play college ball next season.

CB Appreciation thread • Jan 19, 2022 03:22 AM

He's a game changer. Always makes a play when we need it most.

How many points and assists did Remy have?

Can we be fair and give him another game. Let him shake off the rust.

I’m at a point too where I think we MIGHT be better without him on the court, but I’d like to give him a fair shot to prove that to be correct

Fair enough. Okay.
