@Texas-Hawk-10 Thompson is known as an outside shooter, was Seldon ever called that?

@BShark Bigtime, I was not knocking his athleticism (just think that Adams - from what I have seen - is more athletic, is all). Ellis was a smart, team player, not flashy but could score in a variety of ways - including above the rim. I do not recall Ellis ever consistently being a crappy defender either.

@Texas-Hawk-10 I do like your debates, you bring something to the forum - which is kind of why we are here in the first place.

@Texas-Hawk-10 I respect your opinion, but you called Adams a poor man's Perry Ellis and maybe he is, time will tell (I personally, think he's more athletic than Ellis). But that being said, Perry Ellis is one of my all-time favorite Jayhawks and all that he did was win.

A Kristian Doolittle comparison, I'd take that and run with it too. Hopefully (if he signs with us), by the time his career at KU is finished @Texas-Hawk-10 and others will be calling him KJ Doomuch.

@BShark Okay, call me a silver linings guy and correct me if I'm wrong, but with our abundance of wings doesn't KJ seem to be a better fit than KB?

@BShark Interesting. 24-7 listed him as 100% KU. They were a bit foggy as to his position though, as far as size and position? Is he a 3 or 4 or both? Any idea on his skill set.

I think we're in pretty good shape. I absolutely loved this year's team, and not a 1 and doner in the whole bunch. Most of the top 10 guys are going to be G League now anyway, atleast until 1 and done is gone. I like the way (and I know that we missed on Brown, but we had too many wings) that coach and his staff are recruiting. Considering what we've been going through investigation wise, I think they've been recruiting their asses off.

My opinion, for what it is worth, Gethro is going to contribute - I mean, contribute - this coming season. I am interested in all of your opinions, whether he will or won't, and whether yes or no why?

@Texas-Hawk-10 I think Muscadin can and will contribute, even this season. He is big and has handles, can shoot from deep and drive. I am really not understanding why everyone thinks that he's not going to contribute. I heard the same about Agbaji and Braun, and what happened? Muscadin is going to not only play as a freshman, but play pretty well.

@BShark I didn't say he was better than Coach Self, wouldn't want him as our coach. I'm just saying I give him more credit than most. Let me put it this way - in the Big12 I'd go Self #1, Beard 2, Huggins 3, Drew 4, Kruger 5, and then whoever. And depending on what happens this coming season - man, I hope we have one! - I might even (based not on what they have done, but what they are going to do) put Drew ahead of Huggie. Alright firing squad,,, I'm blindfolded, fire when ready....

@jayballer73 Baylor isn't going to go away. Drew can coach, and he's bringing in talent - always has, but this talent is different.

He's a keeper, but I'm interested in bigs. We've got to sign atleast one, maybe even two bigs.

@mayjay The NC State assistant allegedly did handle money, yes. Louisville's case too, bigtime coach and or coaches involvement - KU, not so much; unless you count heresay and fortune telling. I disagree with many on this, but feel that we won't receive much of anything. Vacated wins and loss of scholarships, tops.

You got it, and therein lies the bias. All that ESPN and other media outlets have been doing for two years now is slamming KU, but Coach K and Duke will get a pass. Sorry, but I am not a fan of the media (sports or otherwise) in this nation - far too slanted for my taste.

@BeddieKU23 Hamilton can coach. That is one team that has not swayed from size, very long every year. They will absolutely kick your ass down low.

Man, is anyone other than myself ready for this nation and world to get back to some version - even just a smidge - of normal? That the world will never be the same I no longer have a doubt, but it seems that our government - both Parties - along with the media do not seem to understand that by their constant bickering and partisanship they only serve to exacerbate problems. What is our new normal going to be, I wonder?

Keon Coleman- KU just made his Top 3.. He's also a 4 star WR for Football and could play both at the next level.

OU is totally loaded at wide receiver, no doubt. Hell, totally loaded on offense, period. The Rattler is going to be QBing for them this year. I'll admit it, I'm looking forward to seeing him play.

@jayballer73 No doubt. Players like him and Dick, major in-state talents, we should make every effort to sign. We are starting to concentrate on and seal off the state (because we really had no choice), and need to start signing the bigtimers. And, by the way, the high school basketball talent in Wichita and KC is starting to really impress me.

@HighEliteMajor If I were Coach Self I would not have admitted to any wrongdoing, while still promising to go scorched earth.

@Texas-Hawk-10 I tend to agree. The NCAA bigtime overreached this time. Could be the beginning of the end for them.

It was the NCAA that threw our case to the IRP, correct? To me, it shows weakness on their part and speaks volumes as to just how flimsy their case against us really is. Why would they do that?

KU is the only school thus far that he has been to BEFORE KU offered , wasn't actually a Basketball visit as he was in KC for an AAU event. Said he liked the Campus KU was a big School , liked the Conference.

No, Taco's brother is named Niagara (but he is only a 7th grader), Baye is no relation. Lol joke! But I was wondering the same thing, whether they were brothers.

Dave doesn't have an NBA style game, he'll be giving a senior night speech in 2022 before heading overseas for his pro career.

I'm not ready to write off his chance at carving out an NBA career. But I do hope he sticks around for four.
