Ahhh, now I can sleep at night. Lunardi has us a #1 seed in the midwest for next year. Whew, thought the sky was falling for a minute! LOL

@BShark yeah, maybe his competitiveness gets the better of him sometimes because we have seen the scramble before just have to think there’s some sort of plan B. Totally agree about how important Jalens return is. Big piece next year

@BShark one would think that if in fact we have no shot at TyTy the staff will/has moved on? Thoughts?

@jayballer67 I don’t know TyTy is not still in play. My gut tells me he is a long shot but I don’t know. Never thought we would ink Wiggins but it happened. I’m sure the staff has a pretty good idea the chances of him coming here and will continue to recruit accordingly. Not knowing what Ochia is going to do will hurt us more than anything in my opinion

You’re right. I forgot he got the job at East. I played against Clint in both high school and college and always thought he was very arrogant. Can understand why you’re not a fan!!

@BShark wild guess here but I’m gonna say one of Kurt or Clint Kinnoman. Brothers that played high school ball at St. John. I think they are both coaching in HS now. One at McPherson?

KMC will be playing for state championships within a few years. That dude can coach...and maybe recruit a little!

@Crimsonorblue22 the assistant coaches are the ones the players go to when they’re down/upset about playing time etc... my guess is that Bryce didn’t like hearing the hard truth. Your just not good enough right now

@Crimsonorblue22 that seems to be the case more often than not. Sounds like this has been brewing for a while

@Crimsonorblue22 no doubt Harris was the better player the second half of the season. I think CB was trying to do too much offensively and got out of sorts. Could see him much improved playing with gaurds that can get to the paint off the bounce. Shoot the three and crash the offensive glass. But yeah, I like Harris too but he deserves more minutes than it looks like he may get

@BShark 100% agree. Just not the explosive athlete Self covets in the backcourt. Really good basketball player who will make some team better if in fact he does transfer.

@Bosthawk it’s been mentioned that he can always go back and get his degree later which is true. That’s easy to say but often difficult to do. Was just thinking if he is on the fence to stay or leave the lure of a degree could sway him. Personally I think he’s gone and if so I wish him well

@AsadZ I believe the split was mutual BS mentioned several times the coaching staff has to be better, not just the players

Just wondering if Och is on course to graduate next spring? Seems like a guy that would value that degree. May play large in his decision

@jayballer67 ya. And with his reputation of having such a good mid range game you would think his shot would look pure. But like they say if it goes in it all counts the same!!!

@jayballer67 my sentiments exactly. And you know what? The more he wins the greater my dislike for him will probably show. Doesn’t make it right it’s just human nature. Still doesn’t take away the fact he has won a lot of games over the years and has serious momentum

Work this off season will be so vital for so many of our guys. Competition this spring and summer is going to be crazy. I think Bryce will be much improved and that ugly ass shot will look a lot better when they start going in!

Totally expected. I think Och would like to move on and may be leaning that way. If Bill can get another play making guard to allow him to do what he does best: shoot threes and catch lobs, that may entice him to come back. We shall see.

@Jhawk69 so much of a players performance on the court is there comfort level. I think Braun and Harris will come off the bench and embrace that role. Just can’t see Bill shaking things up like he is to go with a starting five that could possibly be worse than the one we had this year. With the current roster I think Dave and Ochia are the only safe bets to start. Jalen may be as well but I think we are still going to add one or two more guys
