Was listening today to a Cincinnati & didn't realize we are 4th in Defensive eff. We are 24th in offensive eff according to Ken Pom they said,KU 12 in defensive rebounding - -104th offensive rebounding --got to improve that
Coming into a vital five game stretch , we need to probably go 4-1 to remain in the hunt for the Big 12 Champions, I am having a feeling though more likely we go 3-2 yet 4-1 not impossible . The five are :

@wissox I fully realize Wilt , but right my favorite --was little with Wilt wasn't watching hardly then . Same with Lovellette , and yes yes T Rob absolute stud. All these guys all have a toughness edge over many many others of today's rosters.-- They wasn't worried about NIL- - Portal crap- -they played ball and played top notch clutch ball and was team orientated
I realize there are others. To many to mention all , like you noticed these would just be my five. I would put these five against any others and take our shot. I think we would be just fine. Give me these five and the three I had coming from the bench - oh ya any time - -any where

I think this whole group just had a different edge , a lot more mentally AND Physically would love to have this group today
@wissox No he sticks out pretty easily, hard NOT to see actually how of defense he plays, if any at all. Again that's one of the main reasons we are seeing less of him. That on top of his ridiculous turnover overs , - sloppy passing , poor drives IF he does , bad timed forced ill advised shots at the wrong time in a game , non rebounder , low assist gut , if you can't play any Defense or really poor defense then your going to have plenty of time to gt it figured out.
It's not like Coach hasn't given him opportunity, but when he is on the floor it doesn't take long before he has done one or multiple things wrong to get pulled. Bill has started him - -brought him off the bench early -- brought him off the bench late, an I think the only mind set AJ has is one thing an that is to get the ball and shoot , forced or not-- he does not give playing any kind of defense a second thought - -not a good recipe to play here, just a bad fit

Ya sur was leading scorer at what Wisc ?- -Yet look at the shot volume think he just has to be in the lime light, think he has some trouble sharing that - - -doesn't plat defense a lick and that's a problem , you don't play both ends then you get a seat over with Coach

We got our punter. STRONG leg- -they said if you were to put his stats in the Big 12 this past yr he would of ranked 2nd in net.-- Several 50 plus , very efficient
@Kcmatt7 Besides his shot volume AJ just isn't buying into that there are two ends to a court. He just doesn't buy in to the defensive end , gets smoked multiple times , plus he like has been mentioned he has to get his shots , and a lot of times they are at a critical point of the game
Look at Rylan , he was in deep to , BUT I think Rylan is on the right track, and evidentially Coach believes that too , as his floor time is increasing. We need Rylan actually I myself believe more then AJ-- Rylan gives us another legit three point threat , more so then AJ.- - If you notice Rylan is also driving the ball better and has been making the mid range J's also I think Rylan is figuring it out. Give me Zeke and Rylan from distance we be good.
I think also Coach just maybe has gotten a better feel for his starting five,-- Have Diggy give Juan some back up minutes , bringing in Rylan , -Flory playing more and also backing up Hunter-- - then we have AJ -AJ right now loks to be the number nine option on the roster - -one reason I asked is it possible that AJ says screw this and packs and goes.- -AJ needs the headlines,he has to be " THE GUY " or so he thinks. but until he can prove himself, then it is what it is
@approxinfinity thing is he has had problems at different schools, had some issues. I think one of the biggest is he doesn't want to commit to defense and you know how Bill feels about that. Storr has always been a high volume shooter, I think there is some problem there- - -could be a problem with others in the locker room
After AJ'S brief floor time in the first half which he got the minutes he deserved , not many was just BAD wgeb he was in and not a second the 2nd half- -- - -
Could it be possible he leaves the team during the Season ?
One thing I'm liking better these past two- -three games , doing better on the OFFENSIVE end in rebounding or keeping the ball alive for 2nd chance opportunities
you take the six we were down at the half- -from that on we went on a 38-13 run the rest of the game
For being such a terrible defensive team , we have certainly picked things up in the 2nd half - -Anyon else see those stats for ASU ? - -seven points in the 2nd half -- - Ku ha six steals and other I for forget lol , been pretty good D

We recently got a verbal commit from JJ Dunnigan really good player, made his announcement at the Under Armor All Star game , Just so happens JJ is right out of Manhattan, His Dad played for K/State I think they said in the 80's ? Soooo
JJ commits and right off the bat K/State podcasts and others begin saying Oh they don't think he will stick -- KU gonna have to really work to keep JJ -- JJ gonna keep taking visits and they wouldn't be surprised if he ended up else where other then KU. - -I mean it's just eating them up KU came right in their home town and took him -they just think there is no way that can be possible.
Yes while true Ku IS going to have a battle to keep him - - other schools going to stay after him to try and get him to flip -- they are saying since this All Star game they think his rating will jump up and a lot of other Schools will take more notice, and won't be surprised if he still visits K//State.- - Bottom line is they are just dying that KU got the kid they thought for sure was a led pipe cinch to land at K/State cause Daddy went there. @kjayhawks was just listening to live stream of the weatherman here in Topeka , doing a live stream. He said he was going to stay on the low side of snow amounts but don't be surprised, he said he was going with 7-14 inches , BUT there has been latest models- - multiple models saying we could get two foot maybe more-- Historic storm. Tomorrow suppose to snow heave most the day , and 35 - to 45 mph winds for blizzard conditions more then likely multiple power outages that could last for days, Stay safe my friend
They have got us in a blizzard warning and heavy snow 6-12 inches on top of IOce, good chance of wide power outages. We have been getting freezing drizzle & now freezing light rain and suppose to turn to heavy snow over night and through tomorrow. Not looking good
