The thing I'm afraid of is Jefferson is going to neutralize at least enough Hunter that's going to be an issue. If we can have a night where we can get either or Rylan or AJ to be productive enough that would be sweet.- -We are going to have to play a full forty minutes, can not afford any 2-3-4 minute -- droughts - -be on the Hunter watch for foul trouble their Bigs pretty athletic - got to crash the boards and keep them off no 2nd- - 3rd chances , just can't have it
I would say the last six minutes of that game it was like neither team wanted to win. - -I've never watched a team melt down during that time like Tech did, only to be matched by K/State. I mean during that time Tech came down and some of their passes was incredibly stupid -- like where the hell you throwing that - -then K/State would come down and do the same thing or just throw up some ridiculous shot just stupid.-- There is a reason they are now 6-8
Holy cow did anyone else see that dam circus with Texas Tech / KSU ?- - I swear to GOD Texas Tech did everything in their power to lose that game in the last six minutes It looked like- -turnover after turnover after turnover, Stand out at the top of the key dribble, dribble , dribble and throw up some prayer if they got a shot without throwing it away
Seriously pathetic showing of a game that last stretch- - K ? State is really sad and yet Tech tied to hand them this game.
I'm sorry I really am , but just trying to be honest & realistic. I don't have a very good feel about tomorrow night & that's not a knock against the guys , I think we will play hard and fight but bottom line I just think they are better then us THIS YEAR. -They are like us many years , they are just really good. You never know which one or whatever is going to be the one who lights it up for them on any particular night.
Like I mentioned yesterday, we are going to have to match their defensive intensity for a full 40 minutes and find quick open perimeter looks/shots. Jefferson pretty good , got a good pg- - they have the guy that comes off the bench that actually is their leading Scorer -a lot of weapons. We got to take care of the ball & hit the glass.- -We have to make a better percentage of hitting our shots from distance. -I hope I'm wrong about this feeling , I hope I'm dead wrong just RIGHT NOW as of this moment , at this time of day I just feel like could be a 6-7 point L - Hell I'll do anything if I am- -- I'll dance naked in the rain if we win even lol - -ROCK CHALK
@KirkIsMyHinrich Our 2026 recruiting going really well to. I saw where we are getting a visit this weekend from a 4 8 running back out of Missouri - -- -Dezephen Walker, also taking a visit to Nebraska.
Also saw we are getting a visit from the # 1 player out of Iowa -- a WR Amarion Walker- - Hunter Huggins is suppose to announce on the 15th guess we were in the lead for him- - plus as of this moment JJ Dunnigan has verbally committed to us - long time to go on these guys and you know how they can change their minds at the drop of a hat but the Staff is tearing it up right now
@KirkIsMyHinrich you know it's crazy and yes I know - -I know some of these guys didn't take a lot of snaps BUT think back 4-5 years ago we couldn't even gt a sniff from players like the one's we have joining our program now- - -a lot of snaps or not. I mean we just this yr alone got two transfers from Alabama, a guy from Auburn -- This guy from Texas- -Hell even our boy from S Carolina to name just a few, it's just another sign of how this team and our perception from others have changed. Other players see how the program is changing.& they want to be a part of that
Better High School recruits -- A Coach who cares and can Coach- - A new Stadium- -we have really turned the corner, not quite 100 % quite yet but for sure on the way up.

Why he thought A J Storr had been struggling so far this Season ? -his answer was well one he thinks Storr is just thinking to much instead of just going out and doing what KU brought him in to do. That shoot the ball and score , he said think about it, Storr has been in his last two schools been in losing programs-- no pressure. Now he comes into a true blue blood and there is pressure and just over thinking instead of just doing what he does -he says he knows this AJ Storr is to good of a ball player to be the 9th player coming off KU'S bench.
He was asked what he thought the outcome of the ISU/KU game and he said he just think right now ISU is just to good playing at home said he thinks will be a good ball game sees it ISU like 65/59 somewhere around a six point game

@AsadZ Quite possibly they have been BUT they won't be as they will be beat this week without Broom. On the podcast Field of 68 , these guys were impressed how KU has become a pretty good defensive team. - - over the last three games we are giving up a scoring avg of 47.6 points pe game- 48 , 55 , & 40 .- last two were 13 points in the 2nd half -- & yesterday 15 points- -they were talking holding Cincinnati to 40 points on there home floor. - that's a point a minute.

Well unfortunately I think my boys Season comes to the end today.- -We got the task of playing Philly in Philly ( 14- 3 ) @ 3:30 .
We played them the 1st game of the year and lost 34 --29, just a bad match up- -Hurts is playing- And the stud RB more then anything, just don't think we are stopping him- -I think he finished right at 2,000 yards rushing didn't he ?
Think it would just have to be out scoring them in a slug fest even though Josh Jacobs has been really good for us I just don't feel without Watson & not sure about Dobbs - -two key receivers - -Watson for sure ACL -Afraid I'm going to have to say we probably get beat by two TD'S- -Welp there is always next year lol

Nice to the guys put some pride in on that side the floor. Watching KJ go hard after offensive rebounds is exactly what people mean when they say it’s 90% want to and 10% skill. I’ve never seen KJ hustle like that on the glass in the last 4 years. Shak has really been a difference maker for this team so far especially after the WV loss which is one of the worst in the Bill Self era IMO. 9 man rotation works fine just need AJ and Rylan to continue to improve for this team to be a great one.
KJ 's, light switch has finally came on as far as the boards - -Nine rebounds game before this one- -- Seven in this one--- and it's been offensive also , we had been sucking on offensive rebounding but him and Hunter both better these last two games
