@Crimsonorblue22 I was born and raised in Kansas but joined the Marine Corps in 1997. I am currently living in TX. I have been all over the world and watched KU play in many different places. I am the guy wearing a crimson and blue getting verbally abused in venues all over the US. I was at the Arizona vs Kansas game in 01, UK vs KU in 05, Florida vs Kansas in 06, and many others. This year I am going to take in some Texas games and I am PUMPED! KU will be here 4 times UT, Baylor, Tech, and TCU. I am going to try to make all 4.

6-foot-5 wing from Memphis LaGerald Vick is on campus right now and has been since Wednesday for an official visit. Another 2015 prospect, 6 foot 5 shooting guard Kobie Eubanks will be on campus this weekend. I believe these visits are vital and these two young guards are a must have. KU has plenty of talent on the roster but could really use some quality depth. Injuries and NCAA violations have haunted us in the tournament for the last two seasons and you just never know what's around the corner?

Wayne Selden dealt with a left knee injury throughout most of his freshman campaign. Though he played through it, the ailment required arthroscopic surgery in the offseason in 2014.
Frank Mason was warn down and wearing knee support on both legs by the end of the season this year. Svi has not proven him self so if HCBS puts on his recruiting shoes he should be able to land someone. I am worried that one of these injuries re surfaces next year but I sure hope it doesn't!

It could open the door for anyone in the top 100 that doesn't want an education. These kids will develop and would take a lot less money to skip out on the books and develop their craft. I believe that this could really pull the rug out from under the NCAA. It is a REAL threat and I bet its got the attention of the NCAA, NBA, and The all mighty SHOE companies.
This will force the NBA to let kids out of high school enter the draft if the NCAA wants to continue pocketing its March madness earnings.
@Kip_McSmithers If this works it COULD ruin college basketball all together. This will NOT be the only team around if the NM team is a financial success. It could turn into an entire league with teams sprouting up all over the country. IF the NCAA and the NBA don't do anything about this right now these teams could snatch up all of the top 100 talent around the country before anyone knows what hit them.

I don't believe you can judge ones talent level over the course of ONE game. Ivan Rabb had 2 pts, 1 blk, and 3 reb in that same game so based on that one game is he a bust?
@JayHawkFanToo I personally wouldn't mind adding a guy with one of the highest ceilings in the 2015 class and we will probably have a scholarship to give anyways. He could end up being crucial if Ellis, Bragg, or Diallo get injured.

I will give some more updates on the recruiting front tomorrow. Too tired to dig up anything new tonight. I need to find out if we are still a player in the Georgios Papagiannis recruitment tomorrow. It would be a luxury to have a 7 foot center but would absolutely cause a transfer if one is not already in the works? We need a big combo guard or 2 to back up Selden. We have 2 big wings, 2 point guards and one combo or 2 guard. Someone has to take over when Selden leaves next year with the other 5 guys that will turn pro or graduate. If anything the 2016-2017 team could be the one that breaks the streak. If our coaching staff doesn't sign the #1 2016 recruiting class we can not continue our dominance missing Selden, Ellis, Cheick, Hunter, Traylor, and possibly Svi. That leaves us with Mason, Graham, Greene, Bragg, and Lucas. SCARY!!!!
I think Joel gets the pat on the back for this one. Cheick said he talked to Joel ALOT about school and how KU will help him develop his game.
@blackmild33 I'm not sure KU has officially offered Tevin Mack, Lagerald Vick, or Kevaughn Allen BUT he has reached out to all of them and I am sure he would take any of them at this time. This late in the game you don't get to prioritize. Take what you can get especially with UK reaching out to all of them as well.

@wrwlumpy Me too! I am anxious to see who HCBS signs late? Mason, Graham, and Doyle were all 3 under rated and late pick ups by HCBS. All 3 are solid players! I am glad we have some depth in the front court because there are fewer talented un signed bigs out there. Fewer diamonds in the rough at 6"10and up. There are still some untapped under the radar and under 6'6" kids out there HCBS can pick up.

@Crimsonorblue22 Most of my time following KU I have watched these highlight videos of incoming players which are impressive BUT watching Cheick this spring was like watching entire games of highlights! He is more impressive than ANY single recruit we have seen at KU in my lifetime!
