@dylans Trust me I cant see him making his way to Kansas BUT his good friend is Bragg who is also actively recruiting him.
OK I really have no idea who to trust on these accounts so please don't hold my feet to the fire if I am inaccurate. I figure some day soon I will at least be able to form an opinion or hypothesis about where some of these kids are going? I have heard today that Bragg is still actively working on Zimmerman.
@Crimsonorblue22 Ingram wants to play with Bragg and Really likes KU. Apparently HCBS sent him a text last week informing him that BG was going to be questionable to start the season AND again "we NEED you". Again this intel is so new to me I am not sure of its accuracy but that people in these kids circles DO tell what they know.
I heard that this is actually nothing to worry about and its still a done deal to KU. However I have no idea how reliable these experts I follow on one account are? I don't even put much into what the experts say.
@konkeyDong I have recently submersed my self into the deepest depths of recruiting to see how accurate I can get with recruiting in 2016. I have been working on my own network of ghost twitter, fb, istagram, etc. I have friended, friend requested, followed each and ever recruit, recruits friend, coaches, parents, brothers, and sisters. I figured its too late in the game to try to figure out the Cheick situation but I have looked into it and I am hearing the same thing you are. The dark horse or new news is that he has been offered a BIG paycheck over seas and it defiantly didn't hurt the former SMU recruit Emmanuel Mudiay's draft stock. In fact there have been rumored to be 3-4 guys offered.
According to Matt Scott there is going to be an announcement about a player tonight at the Banquet.

I don't know if any of you guys play close attention but I would say that we have a chance at landing Ingram and Diallo. I believe KU has a better shot landing these 2 over the rest of the uncommitted guys. I know everyones high on Diallo BUT Ingram has just as much if not more potential. He is almost an Anthony Davis kinda guy where last summer he was playing a 2 and now his measurements have exploded. I hope we land BOTH of them and soon! Measurements at the Nike hoop summit.

The point is a lot of people are un-following him on twitter recently.

@brooksmd YES!!! KU has to step it up next season because we could be really thin on talent following next season! I think it could work out with recruiting though because he will be able to tell the 2016 class that he WILL have immediate PT if they just sign right here. Plus the over seas trip to boot.
I sure hope HCBS is pounding on the doors of the 2016 class like a mad man! Next year no matter what we will lose Traylor, Mickelson, Lucas, Ellis, and then early departures in Svi, Selden, maybe an OAD or 2? Its not really that far fetched to think that Mason and Greene could leave also. We will need a monster recruiting class next year! Which means we will be young again SMH. Imagine what losing 8 guys or more in 1 year will look like?

If you remember EJ and Releford both were on the draft boards their junior years. They both would have made NBA money for a short period (maybe even a long period) of time but both ended up going un drafted and That is exactly what Ellis is facing right now. If he under preforms next year he will go undrafted. I would be viewing all options too.
I saw that the Hoop Summit will be at the T Wolves game tonight. I bet they all want to talk to Wiggins which could be a really good thing. I wonder if HCBS has asked Wiggs to do some work for the KU team?
@drgnslayr I don't know any players that eat nails for breakfast but if they did you would have to figure it would be bad for their health??? I heard Jordan eats Wheaties and I figure if it works for him I would rather have a guy that eats 10 boxes of them in the morning!
Here is my best shot at our 7' issue. I think we miss on Zimmerman, and Maker. At this point HCBS scoops up Georgios Papagiannis and the OAD haters falls deeply in love with him for 4 years! Just kidding but I believe we land Papagiannis. HCBS is starting to panic and is looking for our 5 and the top two available are probably going else where. I was the first on this board to mention Svi last year and I think I am right on target this year.

I think Cliff has no choice but to try to come back and improve his draft stock. If the NCAA clears him before the time is up to declare for the draft he stays. If the NCAA drag their feet then he will be forced to take his chances in the draft or sit out a year and make his NBA dreams just that A DREAM.

@jayhawk-007 I CANT STAND GARGAMEL!!! That SOB held a team USA practice during our late night in which Tyus and Okafer we set to attend. Gargamel set up his little camp after HCBS announced Late night so The duo ended up going to Dook for a camp and then His late night. Landing those 2 would have put us right there in the final four! A lot of you could care less about the OAD's but those 2 would have sealed the deal for us... I suppose Frankamp could have transferred b4 he did and that could have helped out too. That's what we call a fuster cluck at my house!

I cant stand Cal BUT he has had 4 trips to the final four and has coached in 2 national championship games in the last 5 years. I would trade our record for theirs any day of the week and so would all of you. I don't like the slime bag but he has out preformed ALL other college basketball coaches hands down. I didn't say out coached but out preformed big time! If he keeps this up and stays at the college level he will continue going to the final four and tidal game and probably end up in the NIT a few times? If he really looses 7 bodies this year I don't think he lands EVERY top player left to continue to dominate next year. only time will tell?
What I would like to know from ALL of you disgruntle OAD old timers is how many OAD's has UK had? UK has recruited the TOP tier talent and MOST of them have given Cal more than 1 year. IF HCBS was recruiting and landing guys like Cal how many would still be on KU's current roster? WCS and Poythress are JR's then there are 7 sophomores and 4 freshmen. That leaves Randal, Noel, and Davis. If you look at it KU has had pretty close to the same amount of OAD's but fewer top tier players. I believe the McDonalds all American game pointed out that there are only Currently 5 McDonalds all Americans that are on an NBA roster but JOJO wasn't a McDonalds all American so it could be 6 OAD's as of today that were TRUE OAD's still on an NBA roaster. I could be off but seriously not many guys have what it takes OR are NBA ready out of high school OR even one year of college. My point is recruiting the top tier talent is HCBS's job and he SHOULD be aggressively recruiting top tier guys all day every day! Only a hand full are going to leave after ONE year.
@Crimsonorblue22 I have tweeted Svi 2 times in the last 30 days asking him to confirm his height to no avail lol. KU has him listed at 6'8" but who really knows now that measurement was taken months ago?
I want 2nd year Alexander, Senior Ellis, and Bragg. If that works out for KU then we would have a pretty Skilled Front court with 3 really good backups. Everyone is already pretty happy with our guards. I guess the NCAA will keep us in limbo right up to the deadline.
I must follow recruiting more than 247 sports or something? I know for sure Jaylen Brown said he was going to an Adidas school 100%. This crystal ball prediction must be made up of clown experts!!! They have UK at a 36% chance of landing Brown even though he specifically stated he was going to an Adidas school. I figure we have a lot better chance than UK on his recruitment. Then Zimmerman's roommate was Bragg at the all American game and he told reporters that Bragg really made a good case for him to join Bragg at KU. They have Duke in the lead for Ingram BUT he just started following the entire KU team on twitter and 7 of our guys are following him now. That's gotta mean something? Then we are in the lead on the clown expert prediction at 247 sports for Diallo. I think we have ZERO chance on Newman in fact as soon as the UK turds start declaring for the NBA Newman is UK bound. That's my take on it and another thing Diallo is being followed by and following Embiid on twitter. That could be really good for KU but he was unsuccessful recruiting Lebron to the sixers lol.

@drgnslayr I know what you mean. I think it has a little bit to do with envy on my part. I only wish our coach and program was the popular choice for these young kids. I honestly hope that all the stars align and HCBS can capture lightning in a bottle during this off season and sign the right players to make a deep run next year.
2nd year Cliff is better than any OAD! I want him here more than ANY OAD! If Cliff is cleared we should ALL want him here. If he were to get 34 mpg next year he would be a monster! 15pts 10reb or more. Can you say T-Rob 2.0?

@Crimsonorblue22 Cliff is actually following ALL of them and has been for a while. I don't think that Cliff Following him means anything personally. Another BIG factor is Ingram is adidas. The other BIG one is that Ingram followed a lot of KU players on Twitter yesterday.
