@SlimShaddy54 bryce thompson when he was kansas had a pretty janky shot, wasnt really a great scorer. Seems like he is a decent role player, but having a weird form that doesn’t go in puts a ceiling on things.

I dont know whats normal and isnt with a high school player of the year and projected first overall pick. I would be checking in on a recruit of that caliber as well. Its a little different than a top 10-25 guy or whatever we typically headline our class with.

We have gone 3-2 since the new season proclamation through one of our harder stretches.
After that declaration our bigs have been pretty good. Flory has receded a bit but KJ and Hunt seem way more motivated than they were.
Another new season starts now. I hope Dajuan can lock in as floor general and be efficient, and Mayo and Rylan can find shooting consistency on the road. T-Mobile Center should be a good transitionary “home away from home” stepping stone.

@SlimShaddy54 there are other good players who didnt like Self. People can have different opinions of Self and both be valid. Lets say that in addition to Self coaching those players well, fortune smiled on them and they found themselves in his system at the right place and time to thrive and have a big impact.
I just want a Jersey kid with swag who stays positive, engaged and vocal while rocking cool glasses from the sideline to get lucky and have a healthy season. From a swag perspective, Elmarko seems to have it.

I mean, I was pleased with the effort tbh. Yes, we got beaten, but at least we competed and in some areas they just had better personnel.
Think everyone is rubbed a little raw this season. Im thankful to still be playing meaningful basketball in March and we have the potential to spoil someones dreams in the tourney. I doubt we fix this teams problems but we hung with a top 4 team on their senior night. We showed heart. Light years better than some of our losses
