Dotson got swag today.
My son asked a good question when watching OU. Would they have more points with trae young on team? They had 40 at half against Notre dame. My guess is no.
What's up with Vick? Throat slash gesture get him pine?
Can we not look like ass to start games?
Bye Doke
@DoubleDD this section was created in July 2017. I was not happy that the democrats screwed Bernie but that predated this category. I never liked Hillary. I don't consider myself a Democrat. I do want politicians to be accountable and I don't believe anyone is above the law.
I fully endorse your decision to take some time off from the category and get some perspective. :) see you on the hardwood threads
I'm prepared to eat crow on my criticism of Cavs for trading Wiggins away for Love. Dan Gilbert is an idiot and a jerk but trading away Wiggins wasn't wrong. Of course he could have had Embiid. But that wouldn't have helped LeBron.
The Bulls fired Fred hoiberg today. Can we hire him immediately in some capacity?
Vick has 4 3s. The rest of the team has none. Dotson hasn't attempted one. Grimes is 0-3

On paper this should be a minimum of a 2p point win. Lazy play same as early last season. Why are guys dont get fired up to play in sold out Allen is mind boggling.
Yeah f this! Put in Ochai! Oh wait....
First half O : D-
First half D : D+
I sense a halftime ass chewing. Expect crisp ball movement next half and no uncontested rim runs for Stanford.
Where is the foul there?
@BShark true. If his ceiling is Kidd-Gilchrist I'll take it.
Do other blue bloods have rotation guys that are Garrett level brickmasons?
Doke and Dedric 12 pts 2 fouls, rest of team 6 pts 7 fouls
Moments like these make me think any moment now Self is gonna snap and say "f this, I'm tightening the rotation to only 8 guys"
Hmm wtf are we doing right now.
Nice to see KJ cheering for Garrett. Kid is growing on me. Appreciate the good attitude.

1834 miles what's a little more traveling?
Did they just tell him "you go learn how to shoot FTs"? That's the best fix to his form he could do? He needs to look up better youtube videos
Oh. No. Dumb foul doke.
Doke. Great footwork again.
@BeddieKU23 lol
So impressed with Dokes defensive footwork. Much more active and quick. He will be a good NBA defender at this rate. If he can d the stretch big and dunk at a 65% rate he's going to stick in the league.
just wrapping up watching the Maryland-UVA replay. Now onto more exciting things!
@KUSTEVE Deandre Hunter is athletic and a future pro re: UVA. He was injured for the tourney last year otherwise he might have been a lottery pick.
wow, dumb all around.
How can anyone trust this guy to not have a conflict of interest regarding Russia?
He hides a $50 million dollar offer he made to Vladimir Putin to have the main suite in a new Trump Tower Moscow.
His advisors claimed to have back channel connections with Assange.
He routinely praises Russia and Putin throughout the campaign and beyond.
He undermines intelligence regarding the Skripal poisoning.
He meets with Putin without anyone else present for the meeting.
He downplays the significance of Russia's recent attacks on Ukraine.
Everything Mueller has discovered has been like pulling teeth, with all of Trump's inner circle lying, and some people want to end this investigation.
@Barney do you think that the President should be above the law?
The Mueller investigation cost about 20 million for a year. By comparison Trump having troops of the border cost $210,000,000 and if it extends through Christmas would most likely be half a billion
Corsi's already given Mueller everything he needs to know. Rejecting the plea is just screwing himself and betting on a pardon. He's told Mueller that he deliberately covered up for Stone, who thought Assange had Podesta's emails prior to them being released.
How could Stone have possibly known that Assange had them, other that his having contact with Assange? Stone acts like they were being Machiavellian, trying to foresee all ends and head a misunderstanding off at the pass. If he hadn't been running his mouth about having back channel connections to Assange maybe it would be believable.
Tweedle-dee and Tweedle-dum.
These guys are too careless to lie.
@justanotherfan nice find on the chart!
@nuleafjhawk as I told my friend yesterday, its a shame that the price of democracy is not eternal Netflix and chill. As always, the point of this section of the board isn't to upset people, it's to have a place for dialogue. I am sensitive to the fact that it may upset people and there are instructions pinned in the category on how to silence a category so you don't have to see it.
@JayHawkFanToo you're right in principle here. I don't think any of the facts in these articles are false, but the speculation is just that. I'll try to do better at citing more mainstream sources. Apologies friend and thanks for keeping me accountable.
@DoubleDD you do agree that some investigations take a long time right?
14 indictments since August.
@HighEliteMajor if it's not about compensation, what do you say to players that play a possible 16 more games over 4 years under your proposed format and get injured because of it?
No compensation, and much greater risk of injury (in today's climate of heightened awareness of concussion affects and no solution there). I don't see how anyone can make the case that this is good for the players, only for the fans.
I get why you want a true champion but 15 games per season is untenable. I think an 8 team playoff is the max that can be done and gets you where you want to go, but to your point even that might require scrapping the conference championship games.
The reason I said it is too disruptive is that if you shorten it any longer then you have to figure out what games the teams that play 8 or whatever games and don't make the playoffs do. And it seriously undermines the spirit of the conferences. In Big 12 you have a nice even number of teams that play each other once. That's by design .
@HighEliteMajor I think the college football season is 10+(Max 2) games for the same reason the college bball season isnt 82+. Until the players are compensated above board they won't be asked to play more. If that happens then maybe. I don't think you're for compensation right? The two seem linked.
And you'd agree that football is physically punishing right? If the playoffs were longer I think you'd see more injuries and wouldn't that skew whether someone is a true champion if they got there because of injuries?
It's fair to take the stance of not grading it yet. So do no teams start with a preseason ranking? Is that the deal? If the system valued both Michigan State and Tennessee as top 10 opponents you'd think we would have to be top ten. Is the formula a secret sauce? Sorry so lazy. Lygtfm (let you Google that for me @JayHawkFanToo )? ;)
@BigBad ranking at end of year is very important as it determines seeding and region. We can agree that some paths in the tourney are easier than others right?
@HighEliteMajor your proposed solution is 5 games long. I don't think you can extend the length of the season too much because of the physical grind of the game. But you can't shorten everyone's season either. I think this is the rock and a hard place that makes a 5 game playoff unfeasible. I am good with a field of 8 but I think more than that, at least initially, would be too disruptive.
@KUSTEVE what a pile of hot steaming bull.
In a testament to how good we are perceived to be, Tennessee is still #6.
Big 12 isn't too far off from another football or bball champ. The conference seems profitable and stable. I like the idea of a rename.
Be safe guys.
Really happy with this win now that I got to back and watch it in full again.
Our team has a great sense of when to try to rip the ball. Dotson is growing every game. Doke is in great shape and getting out to guard perimeter. He's looking like an NBA guy. Dedric's dribble drive is critical and I was glad to see it working. Vick gave us big buckets when we needed them. Love the ball movement. Our passing game is going to be great.
We were the tougher team. And Tennessee is a very tough team.
They will. But we deserve #2
@wissox the quality of this win should silence the "Duke should be #2" people
The ESPN+ all backboard cam, no commentator rebroadcast is awesome! Much better sense of individual contributions
