@Crimsonorblue22 Is that real? Wow!
They could represent the majority, since there are 26.96 million documented citizens of Texas and only 8,874,735 voted for one of the four top candidates, and only 4,681,590 for Trump. Who can say? We can speculate. They have a First Amendment right to peaceably assemble and petition the government for a redress of grievances, as well as their right to freedom of speech. I think the majority of them have been peaceably assembling, so I wouldn't want to deny them their Constitutional rights.
Meanwhile, Trump has been hastily backing away from his more incendiary campaign trail rhetoric and fingering good old boy Washington insiders for his cabinet, so if these protesters just sit tight, soon they might get a brand of exclusionary Washington politics they're more used to.
If that happens a majority will probably feel they didn't get what they wanted.
@KansasComet absolutely :100: Couldn't agree more. Couldn't have said it better.
@betterfireE we didn't play our best and we beat them in every stat besides 3pts and rebounding. We have a wealth of good players. Self knows it's mostly up to him to maximize them. I'm going to give him time to figure this team out. Every year we talk about how we would trade regular season wins for a deeper tournament run. We know Self will be more reluctant to do so during conference play. I believe that yesterday was instructional for Self and our team. Looking forward to the next one.
@BeddieKU23 I can't really fault the offense. 45% isnt great but that with the exceptional FTs was enough to get us 99 pts and put us in position to win most games. As much as the offense felt flat at times, it still produced (although the FT % is probably anomalous).
I hope next practice is all about defensive rotations, how to rebound, and how not to get fouls called on you.
@DanR Good take. We beat them in every stat except 3 pointers (we were 7/21) and rebounds (-11).
Crean sounds like the March Hare.
Good job Lightfoot, it didn't make a difference, but it could have. Way to show up!
lets go mitch. this situation was made for you!
@jaybate-1.0 lol. 29 pts... 30 pts....
Frank is dominating
Natural free throw ability in OT is a very good sign for our chances in March.
@jaybate-1.0 Lightfoot or Coleby and go big?
Frank carried us to OT, time for the rest of the team to step up
@DCHawker Agree totally!
@Bwag Frank. He was there last year, imo.
@Bwag :100:
B I'm Frank Mason!
garbage. clean block.
@globaljaybird no more offensive rebs for IU!
omg thats so good Frank!
Frank the Endless Tank!
he came in from out of bounds!
Frank knows the strikezone, and that aint the strike zone, ump.
second game in a row Frank has gotten full extension with his left and taken it to the cup on a big. LOVE THAT
@brooksmd 20/25!
@jaybate-1.0 Good job Landen! Clutch FTs
@BShark Graham's leading the team in pts though
@kjayhawks Let Josh and Dokes have a crack at it.
Really? Can't front your man now?
@jaybate-1.0 You're right. we should have a little sympathy. He's hustling.
Also we've got a bench full of talent, and seem to want to push and shoot early in the possession. Wouldn't you want fresh legs for that game plan?
@DanR Why isn't Carlton out there? He was the spark inside on o!
their fg% was 39% first half, ours was 52%.
Box score update:
Good job Carlton! two big buckets!
We're on a crashcourse with an L if we don't start getting some quality possessions.
Anyone that loses a shoe should go the bench. Tie your damn shoes.
Clean rip. BS.
That's how you sell the and 1!
holy cow a lob!
@BeddieKU23 Wellp. I can't wait to see Udoka develop post game over the next 2 years... TWO YEARS! GEEKED
@approxinfinity Missed corner threes hurting us on both ends.
Why are we shooting only 3s?
Come on refs! This is a physical game, let them play!
@VailHawk Speaking of hedging alliance, thats the real reason I think JJ came to Kansas... this team's fros are a hedging alliance.
@DCHawker :) a riff on something jb said earlier.
Livin' la vida Doka!
