Hmmm, this might have people guessing what it is. Read off UK Board, the thread was Huge Recruiting News Coming? Poster showed where " Fran Frischilla , stated Hearing something seismic on the recruiting front coming, but I'm not a story breaker. Going to sit back & see what happens Seismic.

With that said very interesting what UK people were guessing, but the two most popular Was Bagley not being cleared to play at Duke this year - -then we have talk of package deal to announce commitment - - Bagley probably not right cause as was brought up Fran said on the recruiting front - - Bagley is not a recruit any longer.

Then gets interesting UK fans wetting all over themselves lol. -Some saying a lot of hoopla from Fran for single recruit being Seismic. Then the talk became pretty popular responses - -Zion Williamson to KU in one form/shape or another. By himself - - -Package - - -Multi package lol. A lot of people talking hearing all the KU rumors/rumblings.

Talk about Zion trigger finger been itching & with Fran being in the loop has a KU feel. How Fran has his nose so far up Coach Self's butt lol. Then talking about how Adidas bringing Devon onto Zion's AAU team and how they fit together - - -helping KU - -then there was talk about how Adidas had given Zion's father an AAU team, & they had sunk a lot of money into that team, so saying you don't think they would want Zion and his father to go an Adidas school after that?

Just multiple - -multiple people saying they think it has to do with Zion committing to KU in some form or another, probably package.

Then the topper was they even had a multi package deal, saying Zion Williamson - - Devon Dotson - - Quinton Grimes - -&Romeo Langford - -ALL Adidas kids and committing to KU lmao.

Well, read where Louis King has us in his final 6. Ranked # 14 by 247 small forward out of Hudson New Jersey, 6'8

His final 6 are: Maryland, Seton Hall, U Conn, Oregon, Syracuse, Purdue, NC State & KU. - -Even though Kentucky had been recruiting him he was never offered Looks like Oregon might have become the team to beat out for him now. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Looking at the 2 deep, on the offensive side of the ball only 2 Seniors,
both projected starters - - Jason Rhodes - - LG - -- & Ben Johnson- - TE , - - On the defensive side only one Senior listed on the two deep and not projected as the starter - - - -This is good means we will be bringing back a lot of experience next year getting bigger and stronger things looking good for Depth - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Had to say about his visit to KU: - -Great environment at KU, really enjoyed himself there, told probably KU would be losing their top 6 , so McCormack will be able to play inside and out. - - KU would be able to take advantage of what I can do. - -we shall see , ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Well guys, not really sure how to take this, I find it a little un settling maybe, Devon Dotson talked about his visit to KU & future plans:

Dotson says they watched the fight at Coach's house with De Souza & some of the current team. Dotson said he talked with De Souza saying he is a great player and were talking about teaming up, just playing together would be fun to play with him.

As far as KU Dotson says Coach Self has made me a priority, wants to put the ball in my hands, just be in attack mode & run the show, Coach Self thinks I'm the top point guard in the Nation, so he believes in me a lot.

Now the little bit of un-settling part - - -Florida. Dotson says about Florida: Their need for a point guard & great relationship they have been talking since fresh year & the relationship & trust the belief in me.

Then on top of that even more a little disturbing was that he hasn't set up any more visits but might take some, kind of frustrating because I thought this was pretty much a two team race - - not so sure now.

UCLA has recently gotten involved sayin their freshman Jaylen Hands could follow Lonzo Balls steps. Dotson saying that UCLA'S producing a ton of point guards that is definitely is appealing to him. Alford trying to set up a date for an in home and then Dotson says might take an official there.

Then there is Clemson, who he says is in the mix - -Clemson? - - Clemson? - - maybe take an official visit, gotta figure out the dates. Hopes to decide before the basketball season. - -was hoping for a little better outcome from his visit. - Now really don't know what to think. - -I'm not worried about Clemson BUT Florida? - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Ok, so now I have questions. This Silvio De Souza has kind of caught me by surprise as I'm sure has many others. So ya I know probably not that big of deal, no reason to try and make more out of it then what it is right? - - Understand, BUT I still have questions , or thoughts. Did Dotson talk him into coming along? Some say this is an official - -some say it's an un official . Question is did Coach get sneaky, slide this one in under the microscope? Coming out of left field? - -Hadn't really heard much talk about him, didn't think we were anywhere in the picture on his recruitment - - or ARE we?

So what do we really know about him? - Well we know he is like # 31? - off 247 site - -listed as a 6'9 power forward - - -thing is like I said Just haven't heard hardly any scuttlebutt concerning him. - - So don't trip about his visit? - -OR is this a kid we should start paying more attention too? - -What's his game like? - - Who has anyone heard who his school's of interest are-? - -Again just haven't heard much if anything at all ads far as we go anyways - - yet if you look at the Schools of interest off 247 it list the ever so popular warmer warm status and it shows ONLY KU & Maryland as the two teams of that kind of interest. - -So if we truly aren't on his radar and serious consideration then why is Maryland having baby cows about us ?

Well the ladies off to a good start. - - 3-0 for the year, struggled some but hey it's early had to pay 4 sets against Missouri State and then 5 sets against NC State beat NC State 2 wasn't easy but still come out undefeated this weekend, way to go ladies. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Boy just full of it today guys. read about McCormack's visit to KU: - he said It's a great environment , and that he really enjoyed myself there, KU told him that KU was probably going to be losing their top 6 players , saying Preston would be gone, Graham would be gone, McCormack said he hadn't set any officials yet and doesn't know how many he was going to take.

He said even though he hadn't set up any visits that there is a lot about KU that appeals to him. " History " - -McCormack said it's literally the history of Basketball, with James Naismith the creator of Basketball, that KU has had the 1st great Basketball coach at Ku.

Saying KU has a legendary program, KU has done well at developing players at his position, KU is a winning program, Getting to play Allen Fieldhouse, and KU winning 13 straight Big 12 titles that produces pro's.

McCormack says that KU - - Duke - -Xavier - -G'Town - -UCLA - -NC State - -Georgia Tech - -& Texas are the schools recruiting him the hardest.

Asked what he was looking for in a School he said he relationship with the Coach, Being able to play through mistakes, and being able to develop his game, He says conditioning and Development is important as well as his major, he wants to major in Communications or Journalism, he wants to go into sports broadcasting.

He said History also plays into it as far as the Coach being a good Coach and how the School develops players. Guys the more I'm starting to see, I think this could shape up to be a pretty good year for us if things play out right. - -Sounds like this kid is pretty smart kid, knows his stuff, knows what he wants. - Sounds like he is really interested. He says he has no timetable for his commitment but does want to cut his list, hoping to do so soon. I think our chances may be better then some think - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Just some more information tidbits. Really funny UK board starting to panic some now about Williamson, and of course coming out with the shots: - - - Why ANYONE would choose KU over UK, and then you have this - - -poster says if Williamson chooses to come to KU over UK he needs his head examined, and another poster responded - more like check mama's bank account instead of his head. Of course saying we will be fine talking about there is other players Cal wants more or their are better, you gotta love it. - -Paranoia starting to sit in.

Also mentioned this made me have to go check and yes turned out they were right, and yes I like all others know or most should know, but anyways Quickley has cut his list to three Schools Kentucky - - -KU - - & Miami. - -again I'm not that naïve but just throwing this out for conversation IF - -IF - -IF Quickley chose KU and there has also been a lot of talk about Williamson and Quickly wanting to play together, but IF he chose , we all know that NO way all three end up here Quickley - - Grimes - - Dotson, so question is would we rather take Grimes/Dotson dual and Quickley not commit here? I say YES I will take the combo of Grimes?Dotson and then - -I feel we have as good of shot landing Williamson with Dotson as we would with Quickley and Williamson which is probably happening anyways Quickley goes to Kentucky, I'll take my chances with Dotson pulling Williamson, although Quickley was seen wearing an Adidas shirt.

Well Read that David McCormack had a great in-official visit to KU , I thought it was an official, now I know he was in thick from what I heard with Duke at one point anyways, he is listed as the # 2 center in the class of 2018 - -but if he took an un-official here the kid must be at least some what interested, spending his own dime, OKlahoma St has the edge according to 247 right now - -but he said he loved the Campus here and the facilities, Article said even though he has none sit up yet wouldn't be surprised to see him turn around and schedule an official.

Also saw where Emmit Williams listed his top 7: - - LSU , Org , Duke , Mia , KU , USC , & Florida. - -Some don't feel he will end up here , this is another kid I've jumped on board sometime back and feel like we have a legit shot, would love to land him, Time will tell. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Again whether they are proved guilty Which Long has already been booted off the team so pretty sure of the guilt there, Last year with the alleged rape at the dorm where the basketball players live , the pipe that was found at the dorm , Josh Jackson's little doings - which he pleaded to a diversion right? - -The problem child Brennan Greene , - - The Alleged happenings with Lawson - -Ya, Ya, I know Coach was satisfied with what Lawson had to say right? Lawson being suspended by Coach -ya I know minor in house thing - -But you add with the way the Lawson's departure from Memphis and the incident there, - -There is a bunch of crap gong on -questionable decisions by these athletes they need to pull their head out.

I'm really tired of trying to cover to other people for them, they Represent the University of Kansas, they need to know they are in the public eye and under the microscope. - These kind of things just have to stop. - -Would really be nice to hear something positive for a change.

This Long thing is just BS. there is no excuse for this period. Just out of boredom, went to WKU board, they roasting Robinson pretty good for the most part, saying he was using WKU as a last resort - how he would have to really kiss up to come back Stansbury needed to suspend him for a period and how he would have to be accepted by the players, how he shouldn't get special treatment

@BShark ya, actually that would be the obvious choice, the thing is, the kid should of thought about this kind of scenario before leaving in the 1st place. - -left pretty hastily , lack of better judgement on how he left- - I mean come on , you text your Coach and tell them? - -That's not really the classiest way to do things. This won't happen BUT with that being said , it would suck if WKU refused to let him come back, the Coach could say uh - -NOPE you made your choice.

I've come to a conclusion and that is, the reason Robinson hasn't made any announcement about where he is committing is BECAUSE he isn't committing anywhere. I think the longer this goes without some kind of announcement means just more likely he just going to sit and Train and then Declare for the NBA, probably really doesn't want to mess with going to class, so just not enroll anywhere and just workout, - -looking like to me that's what's going to happen, time runnin out. - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

So our late night list stands at 9 right now, we don't want to get too many, can't give that one on one attention as much but they are: Jalen Carey - - -Quentin Grimes - - Zion Griffin- - Malik Hall- - Zach Harvey- - Jeremiah Robinson- - Samuell Williamson- - Ty Berry- - & N'faly Dante.

I know Harvey has been to multiple late nights plus games, & Jeremiah Robinson I believe also has been to multiple late nights - -but 209 recruits which we have to keep the hammer down on cause I think they are ours for the taking, all we have to do stay in contact both nice players.. - -I think things could be sitting up pretty nice for us in the next couple of years, think our chances with Chandler Lawson obviously are pretty strong we shall see - - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

And we off and running. - Hopefully the start to an awesome season, we are pretty deep at all positions, let's hope we can get that 2nd straight Big 12 Championship and make a deep run in the NCAA'S.

We have some players for sure , I mean obviously our All American Kelsie Payne, I believe also Ainise Havilli is another All American, then we have Zoe Hill - -And then we have Madison Rigdon , Jada Burse , someone else to keep an eye on is Ashley Smith - -we got Alexander - -we got depth. Just exhibition today but we won all 4 sets, normally it only takes the 3 to win the match but both agreed since exhibition to play 4 sets. - - We won the 1st two sets easily - -25-11 - - -25- 12, UMKC play a close set in the 3rd 25-20 - -then in the 4th set we played of a lot of reserves but still won 25-22. - -really looking forward to a great season. - - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Well one thing I found out for sure, this will all be over by the 28th of August. Will he drag it out that long? - -who knows But has to be done by the 28th.

August 28th: LAST day to register for a full time course load( 12 or more hours for undergraduates, and 9 or more for graduates )

August 28th: Full Semester classes:-Last day to add a class , last day to drop a class without a grade. Last day to change a class from audit to credit , Last day to receive 100% refund for a class.

Looks like if anything is going to get done , it has to be by the 28th , hope fully it will be over before that so we can move on. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY
