I will tell you this, I have learned so much from everyone here some good, some maybe not so good. Even with saying that I can tell and feel the passion in the room for our Ku Jayhawks. I love coming here, reading the different post, peoples thoughts and input.

Does that mean as individuals we have to agree with everything that everyone says or thinks in here? NO absolutely not, nor does it mean we have to disagree with everything either. This is actually one of the things that I actually like about this room, sometimes you may get 40 different opinions from 40 different people - - AND? what's so wrong with that right? For the most part everyone here is very level headed - - -sure at times things might get a little heated - - a little over the top - - but that's ok -I know that I can go off the deep end sometimes - -sometimes way off the deep end and for that I am truthfully sorry. - At the time if you were to ask me if I was wrong I'd would more likely then not just tell you to shut the hell up step the f- - - back up off me and find someone else - -that's me again I'm sorry.

However you know what? - - I's people like yourself and many others in here that I have grown to know, that I have come to realize are just pretty good folks. Like I said earlier it's ok if we al don't agree - -it's kind of like in a way there is this example, let me share and I'm sorry if I get off track but please try and follow with me ok? - -here is an example:

We were talking at work one day about relationships and arguing. One young guy and I mean young like 20 or so made the comment OH me and my woman NEVER argue. - - The rest of us almost at the same time, stood there for a moment and said - -REALLY? - -REALLY? then we preceded to tell him it's like this if your in a relationship with someone and you never argue - - -well guess what - - -you don't have a relationship. Because if your in a relationship no mater how great that relationship is and you never argue - -then that means someone is kissing someone's ass - -and that's NOT relationship. So anyways with me saying all that, that's kind of like the way this room is. This group is in kind of a relationship with the other people here - -and there are going to be disagreements and that's ok because people are entitled to their opinion - -WHY? - -because it's THEIR opinion doesn't mean we have to agree with it - -like it - -even understand it - -that's fine, but that's what great about this room.

@jaybate-1.0 I hear ya, I don't know about you - -you probably still a pup - -but I understand I' am FOR SURE getting old can't even say for sure how many more of these chances I'll get to see my juices flow for ANY KU basketball game, probably to an extreme maybe to much so. -- My wife always says when KU plays we start to lose or play like crap - - -she is out worried for her safety lol - - na not that bad but man I find some words that I didn't even knew they still exhisted - -always been a down fall for me - -my passion for KU has gotten me in to some pretty HEATED conversation, shouldn't be that way but I can't help myself.

Well it's a rough couple of days here BUT got to take some solace - -it's rally comical on the Kentucky board. - these guys are sooo aggorant. - -There was one poster that actually was giving congrads to N Carolina for beating his Kentucky team yesterday telling N.Carolina they had a good team - -Man was he taking a beating.. - - People saying they would NEVER give n. Carolina congradulations eve and on and on. - -Then they started in on the refs, how Kentucky getting screwed and OMG it was just one right after another post after post - -which I knew would be the case.

I thought their mascot name was the Wildcats - -WRONG they will now be known as the Kentucky whiners. @nuleafjhawk Well true, but maybe not quite that bad, - BUT an elite 8 does not make a NCAA championship, it's that some people you make the sweet sixteen they bitch cause you don't make the elite 8, you make the elite 8 , they bitch you don't make he final four, you make the final four they bitch cause your not in the championship, you make the championship they bitch you don't win it. - -For some no mater what happens they are never going to be happy - -You have to realize how many of these shoos would LOVE to be in our position, they not only never make the tourney, let alone reach the elite 8- -final four, It's just hard to win in these one bad night and your done. We see it all the time it's not just KU, these other teams are not just going to lay down and say OH your KU ok your surpose to win, let us step aside and you tell us what the final score is surpose to be. Again it's all about breaks of the game perfect example when Oregon shoots a 3 miss they rebound shoot another 3 miss they rebound shoot another 3 and hit - -please tell me how that is Coachs fault and making adjustments? - -We talk about driving the balls because of getting fouls, how many times did we drive the ball and get it put right back in our face? - -Multiple times, they talk about being fouled - -many many , many times clean blocks. - -You could see it was one of those nights when Devonte just dribbles the ball off his foot. - -How is coach surpose to make adjustments for that? - So many different aspects to a game, again a bad bounce here a bad bounce there.

I mean when a team shoots a 3 and it bounces straight up comes down hit almost every single piece of a rim and still goes trough -- or the team shoots a 3 and hits the backboard so hard like Gurley said he was worried that it was going to hit a cheer leader in the 2nd row in the stands - -How is Coach surpose to make adjustments for that?- - -These things happen. - - We just got beat, that's all s- - - happens does it suck? - -hell ya, but their are some that just are way to quick to beat their chest and wanna point that ever so quick finger - -Oh Self isn't coming through - he your - -well not you but you know what I mean - -your entitled to your opinion, and I'm entitled to mine that's what makes the world go round. - - Me personally umm thanks I'll keep the coach we got, I think he just might know JUST A LITTLE more about the game then I do, or he would be in the man cave watching me and I would be in Allen fieldhouse coaching these guys and being the Coach of one of the TRUE elite blue bloods of college basketball. - - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

it's really crazy some people bagging on Coach Self how he has such a pitiful record in the NCAA tourney, did a little research. - -Since 1980 - - there has been 49 different teams reached the final four. - - to no surprise Duke, & N Carolina have been the most with 12 appearances, - - Kentucky with 9 - - then comes Kansas & Michigan State with 8 & then down the line the next being 5 multiple times.

Then we go to winning the titles - -since 1980 - -there has been 19 different champions - -out of those 49 different teams to win the title since 1980 - - It's Duke, N Carolina, Kentucky, Conn, & KU. - - Seems to me we are doing right in line with the other schools not lacking at all - BUt YET some say let's get the FIRE BILL campaign going - -What Bill has been here for 14 yrs? - -four final four's - - and a championship, - -Really don't think it's fire worthy. - - -ROCK CHALK ALL DDAY LONG BABY
