@AsadZ -Two well three things. Number one has been brought out got to consider Coach's age at this stage of his Career , he is 58 yrs old, # 2. -He has stated multiple , multiple times and I know it's a cliche quote you often hear , yet he saying He & his wife are really happy here and aren't going anywhere & I actually believe the guy. Like has been brought up several conversations just strikes me as a guy that just might wanna stick around and finish what he has started.
Last our KU AD has already said steps will be taken to keep Coach, you can take it to the bank Donors are being hit up , Coach in the end you can bet anything will be offered a substantial raise here AND extension I for one just think he stays.
I with others said Game Day better sit up camp on the hill on the Campus - -NOT somewhere in downtown Lawrence , would be huge disappointment much better atmosphere on campus - -better happen
Well guys I hate to rain on everyone Sun shiny day , I know or got a pretty good feel that there are others that feel the same way I but just won't say it - -but I will. I will be the villain.

So I have to say sorry BUT KU IS NOT the 17th best team in the Nation , they are just not. Thats a to big of a jump into the polls , the only reason they jumped this high is because of attrition - plain and simple.
Now do we deserve to be ranked ? - - Dam straight we do , they have busted their ass to get where their at and I love em to death I've been riding this KU train for many , many years clear back with Pepper Rogers been through plenty of misery and I appreciate what these guys are doing but again we are JUST NOT the 17th best team in the Nation at this point.
Can people honestly say they think we are 5 spots better then Baylor ? - -which a team that was considered the league favorite this year ? - Can you sit and say with all your heart we are 5 spots better then them ? - Sure you can say well they have lost twice - -Ok great yes they have but they have got beat by Oklahoma State . - Can you honestly say we will beat Oklahoma State ? Ya I think our offense will rebound. Could be a track meet up and down the field. TCU'S defense is decent BUT it's not Iowa State's defense. - and Iowa St was # 1 and were only giving up 14points a game- -what did we get ? - -14 points - -we will be better

Actually I think it was some as both. TCU look decent , defense looked good -well at times , not as good as Iowa States by any means but good. Yet I think more then anything I think people over estimated how good Oklahoma was and maybe under estimated about how good TCU might be

were not going to run into many if any tougher defenses then Iowa State today. Sure we will face tough defenses but doubt if much tougher. - It just goes to show that our defense IS getting better a little at a time, but they stood up today. Iowa State had close to 35 more snaps but the defense showed. - -It just shows we can win different ways, we can stay in a game/win a game without our offense scoring in the 40"s
Also like I hear sure this will squelch the talk about Jalens Heisman - but I but if you was in the KU locker room he is just as happy with a TEAM WIN then as a individual honor. Read several interesting of ISU boards. Heard Coach Campbell preview KU , I'll say this gonna be a hard test I know that. - - Micheal Swain who is up on the phog , use to cover ISU - -he was asked on the local sports talk show here what his prediction is and he thinks this will be KU'S 1st loss - - close but a loss - -saying he thinks that in the end that they will probably make us more 1 deminsonal( sorry for the spelling ) , talks about the CB'S on defense being really good. - - Got a pretty stout run defense - ranked 14th Nationally against the run. Campbell of course spoke pretty highly of KU and the different game day atmosphere this year
Couple of things here : ISU - QB completing 71.6 % of his passes ranks 3rd in the Conference , thrown for 1,029 yards --BUT I think here might be a couple of things to keep our eyes on - -- Dekkers has thrown 10 TD"S BUT also has thrown 5 interceptions - - -AND has been sacked 7 times.
JUalen is 6th in the Confrence completing 71 % of his passes and has thrown for 890 yards but a lot less attempts , so keep that in mind when coming to yardage. - -11 TD'S BUT only 1 Interception and only sacked once.
ISU RB Jirehi Brock is 5th in the league running - 64 rush's for 353 yards and a 5.5 per rush and has 2 TD'S - - KU'S stable of backs Jalen is 6th in the league 38 attempts for 320 yards -8.4 per rush - & 4 TD's - - Neal is 10th - -with 37 attempts a- and 258 - -for a 7.0 per rush - - then HiShaw - is 12th and has 36 attempts for 231 yards- - - -and a 6.4 per -- & 4 TD'S
You notice things here guys ? - -you see the balance in KU'S running game ? - - Daniel's38 rush's -- -Neal 37 rush's-- HiShaw 36 rush's ? - -pretty dam balanced. - -Brock is the only back for ISU that is anywhere in the picture.
Like I said ISU DOES have a stout run defense - -BUT like some of their own fans have mentioned - -you have to remember that they have played SE Missouri State & Iowa - -so we by far will be the most serious running attack they have seen - -For me - -ONCE again I think a lot of this game will be determined by how well our O-Line stands up against their D-Line. Can the line create some holes for our backs - -we gotta move them off the line.
They were saying if we can get enough pressure on Dekkers - - make him think more then better chance of forcing a TO - - ISU leading the league in take aways - -so ball security is a priority. Jalen gonna have to make smart decisions against these CB'S and not throw INT.
In the end I just think we still find a way to get the W. - -Not gonna be easy - by far the toughest game - -ISU really good defense - -thinking like 38-31 - -I just think this offense we got is gonna move the ball on most the teams in the league.

Mater Dei is considered the best football school in California. Picking up a recruit from there is a signal in many ways and could attract talent from other Cal schools. There is so much talent here that some excellent players get overlooked and end up at DII or mid majors out of HS.
