@jayballer67 no one says you can’t post. Next time maybe ask if anyones seen the Yankees. Ask what people think about them. Might get some discussion going. Nice done the same with Wisconsin. A few times I’ve made it known I enjoy them as well. Most people ignore me because they could care less. Some discuss them a bit, quite a few jumped on the bandwagon and cheered mightily that we’d knock off Duke in 2015. A couple of people have made remarks and I back off knowing this is a KU hoops site. There’s ways to discuss these topics without them becoming a controversy.

exactly

Logic, If someone came on here thumping their chest about Duke or Kentucky, well that'd be worse than this. This is a Jayhawks site mainly. Of course we like to brag about the Hawks and all that, but I don't go to Kentuckybuckets or Pukebuckets (wow, Pukebuckets!! That's a great one!!!) and brag about KU. That'd be an affront to the one or two decent people that follow those teams.

https://www.pinstripealley.com/ ↗ That's a great one for all things Yankees. Go there. Continue on here if you want but continue to hear us be annoyed by it too.

No I'll just continue to stay here as most my posts are strictly KU. - -BUT seeing as how this Header states- -KC Baseball ? Other MLB - see that opens it up for any fan of any team being able to post what they want to post , when they want to post , and as much as they wanna post about their team that like in that particular sport.

I know I need to get my eyes checked but I don't see anywhere that it says KC Royals talk only. So I'll probably just leave things they way they are - -annoy away I'll still be able to sleep just fine

No matter what team you pull for • Jul 31, 2022 01:44 PM

One other then on this then I'm stopping - -well unless of course I feel the need to respond. You are totally off base about Ny clearly being the best team in the American League.

the YANKEES that team you hate so much, & how I as you say go on & on about - -they ARE NOT - - ARE NOT clearly the best team in the American League. The Houston Astros are clearly better. Better Pitching Staff Better all around starting line up - The Astros own NY. I hate it , can't stand the Astro's but here is where I have to accept they are just better - - it is what it is.

Yankees have more dramatic power Stanton - -Judge - -etc but the Astro's just much more solid - I have to live with that , wish I didn't but I would be almost willing to bet - -if I was into betting that it will be the Astros NOT my Yankees in the World Series. - -i"ve found I still sleep fine at night and life goes on

Yankees with all that power mange a pathetic like 1.34 batting average against the Astro pitching so no NY is NOT clearly the best team - you can take comfort in that - -& I'll STILL continue to be a Yankee fan

@jayballer67 No Envy. It's just when one team is clearly the best in the league and their one fan in the particular community we're all in together keeps going on and on about it, it's really kind of tiring. And when it's the most privileged team in the league we all see through it.

Oh there is more then ONE fan here believe that - but I can't help you - I have ever right to go on & on whenever - -where ever that's what's good about sports. - - You get tired of hearing from people how good Kentucky is in Basketball ? - -you like their fans ? - -You get tired of hearing about Duke Basketball ? -You get tired of hearing ESPN talk about DUKE - - DUKE - - -DUKE -you or any other people get tired of hearing about that ? - -How about Tom Brady you ever get tired of hearing about Brady and the Patriots ? - Wait let me go ahead and answer - -well no I don't I LIKE Tom Brady right lmao.

NY is no different then hearing about any other Team - - Player - -orginzation tha'ts all you hear about. - - Again it is what it is bottom line is NY is just better and if a fan wants to talk about accomplishments of a player or team when they are having a really good year - -then that's their right. Happens all the time - -get over it - - it's a game for gosh sakes you and your Royals , White Sox whoever is gonna be just fine & I'm going to continue to talk and say - -when a person is having the type of Yr Aaron Judge is having - - dam straight I'm going to talk about it and talk about it alot.

You don't think I got tired of hearing about George Brett in his time?- -Hell ya I did - -got sick of all the syrup - -but again it is what it is just live with it

@wissox The NYY bragging, and our sardonic replies do, however, help me understand how those KSt fans enjoy it so much when KU loses...

Rightttttttt. Don't suppose you thump your chest any about KU being so god do you ? - Glad you understand how the K/ state fans feels when KU loses - -mainly because THAT just doesn't happen very often.

It's ok to thump that chest NY just like KU can back their cockiness if that's what you happen to want to call it no reason to be mad feelings hurt or what ever . Do People talk a lot of trash about how good the KC Chiefs are ? - -you bet they do. Why ?- -cause the Chiefs can back it up. No reason to wet all over yourself about. - If you good - - your GOOD. - you wanna have that edge talk shade - - you got every right.

You think People of opposing teams couldn't stand Christan Braun because of his cockiness? - his aggorance or what they thought to believe was. Christan talked a lot of shade to opposing fans - - teams - thats cool he could back it up. He had game. - Say the same thing to those people -HEY don't get mad , it is what it is - - Christan /Chiefs ? -NY just better that's all.

People need to worry more about things that are more serious then a ball game -- spend less time feeling like sn abused under study - It's gonna be ok. Bottom line is if a Team is good, and can back it up - -then their fans have the right - it's not that big of deal. - All this does is point to Royals fans showing they have a inferiority complex - -come on there is no agrument to this SERIOUSLY ?

and my response to that is - - - LMAO - -not a chance thanks for checking in though . I just get tirred of whiners people who cry all the time and always try to find an excuse other then the real excuse - -it's gonna be ok though - -you gonna be all right.

@jayballer67 You're making me hate the Yankees more with these posts!

Good truth hurts some times. but we all big boys. Like they say success brings envy. - You have no argument against this. Everyone when they come to Yankee stadium has the same opportunity to take advantage of this so called short fences. Probably the thing is difference KC pitching sucks,

No matter what team you pull for • Jul 30, 2022 08:30 PM

Ok , I've went long enough and I've heard your KC announcers cry & wine enough - - - get over it. All I hear from your guys is oh this little stadium , short right field fence - - You know what - -they are right , but the way these guys are crying - -oh well that would be an out in KC, - - -AND ? - - the players don't control the distance of the fence - --plus those short fences when opposing teams come into Yankee stadium have the exact same chance of taking advantage of those short fences. I think maybe you have more problems then worrying about short fences, don't even try to go there

I've seen Juge , Stanton and others blast home runs DEEP in Yankee Stadium - like some 460 feet 457 feet and others. - -some of Judges Home Runs have been the cheap route but seen plenty of others where no park going to hold his ball. - get over yourself - - it's not the short right field fence the reason your getting beat Dam come on.- - A LOT of those home runs on the road and deep Home runs too so stop

Now before you try and come back and try to support or say OH it's your agorance Yankee hate lmao - - umm no - - what I said is straight up facts/truth , and the truth hurts some times -- sometimes you just have to accept things for what they are

Just like I will come out and say chances are and I'm not to proud to admit it -- it is what it is - - NY will more chances then not - -will not make the World Series, - - Hoston will beat them in the playoffs - - Houston owns NY - just better around but I'm honest enough to admit it is what it is

Conference realignment • Jul 29, 2022 06:47 PM

Now some talk going on that maybe the Big 21 takes on possibly 3 PAC 12 teams and then possibly San Diego State. The reason for the interest of the Aztecs ? Because the size of the Campus blowing up and more West Coast Media

As a Big 12 (nee Big 8) grad who lives in Pac-12 (nee Pac-8) country, it's interesting to watch fans in each conference badmouth the other.

I'm hearing exactly the same rhetoric from both sides..."How dare we lower ourselves by taking in schools from THAT conference. They don't compare to the teams in OUR league." The truth is that both conferences are "walking wounded" after they lost their sugar daddy schools.

Personally I'd like to see more cooperation and less backbiting. Let's face it, there's a reason that the Big 10 and SEC didn't come calling for the others: The dollar bill. And the Notre Dame situation makes it even more unlikely that any of the have-nots will join the two majors. The sooner the larger left-behind schools figure this out and start making the best of the situation, the better.

you and me both. just like PAC 12 schools need to accept their position and that they nee the Big 12 help the better - -Fans from KU need to understand that the Big is not gonna be sending KU any invitation to join the Big 10. - -It's only getting less and less chance

On the bright side if there is one , with the talk from the BIG Commissioner that it's not over , and they checking out now Oregon , Washington and others that just helps the Big 12 in adding Pac 12 teams cause if like it has been said in other articles if they lose anymore teams /Schools they are done so there is that , BUT with the chances of the Big 10 possibly adding Stanford - -Oregon - -Washington and when it's all said and doe Possibly Norte Dame , there is no way KU gets invited to joined that Conference. - The sooner the PAC 12 realizes things , and KU realizes and just get this done the better off we will be.

Conference realignment • Jul 29, 2022 03:59 PM

Well interesting, how legit -- any fire behind their absence ?-- -I guess that Washington & Oregon's AD's not at the Pac 12 Media days , wonder how much that might have to do with the rumor they being considered by the BIG -- things might already be taking place just not disclosed.

Pac 12 Commish fired shots at Big 12. - -Saying he appreciates the Big 12 saying they open for business BUT not sure yet if they ready to shop here yet. -- LMAO, this guy is twisted, it's his league more then ours that's more likely then not to get teams taken not the Big 12.

Actually only 5 -12 League AD'S showed up for the PAC 12 Conference.- -I STILL think it's the Big 12 that will be adding PAC 12 teams when the air clears

Buddy people got to stop thinking we are getting into the Big 10. - - Basketball only IS NOT going to get us in. Plus now if it turns out true and the BIG 10 decides to steal the likes of Washington Stanford and such - -we are not getting in , just the way it is

Conference realignment • Jul 28, 2022 10:42 PM

@rockchalkjayhawk Actually this is good for the Big 12, cause not if but WHEN the Big does take like Stanford - - -Washington - - Oregon - or even just one of those Pac teams - that seals it for the Pac 12 they are done. - -Been reading a lot of various teams boards in eh Pac 12. - Long been rumored that the 4 corner schools will jump ship and try to joining Big 12.

Arizona wants out of Pac 12 and to be able to join Big 12 - -Arizona is the primary school that has been rumored to waning to join the Big 12. Talk of probably/possibly Utah joining also. - If this happens Big 12 has even more options for like Arizona State and Others the one mentioned then was Colorado.

The talk is ESPN wants to continue to have that night slot , however in the media rights ESPN is rporting that they are trying to low ball with and est of like 24.5 Mil per school, a where Big 12 is looking at possible 35-40 mil been reported/hearing. These PAC 12 schools if ESPN doesn't come with a better offer - -much better offer these schools are gonna jump ship quickly cause they don't wanna get caught with nothing and no where to go.

Big 12 is in a good spot if it comes to adding these PAC 12 teams , we add those 4 that put the Big 12 at 16 team conference and the 3rd best Conference behind the SEC & Big it will get worked out

Ya was reading off Jayhawk Slant. I just don't see how we WOULD NOT take this kid if he wanted to commit. - super upside. has a really sweet left jump hook, beast rim defender , and the article keeps talking about how he likes Ku and a relationshi with townsend. - say people say he is like Jo Jo - obviously not s big in bulk - -for me I'm hoping - -Although have heard some about Minnesota bein good shape

@kubuckets This looks like to me that " YES "-- the Big WILL take more schools yet. -It sounds like very easily end up with any combo OR all Stanford - - Cal - - Washington - -& Oregon.

If this truly comes to be not far down the road, then the PAC 12 for sure is 100% done. Which means that much better if we want to get the 4 corner Schools

Hey guys have to apologize in advance for this lengthy post I'm getting ready to post but just wanted to share a few snippet's & some thoughts here. Ok 1st thing here is my opinion I fully realize that we are pretty loaded in big coming up right? - - yet Just saying if this kid wants to come your a fool not to take him aren't you ?

Dennis Evans 7'1 & 210 lbs and currently # 12 in the Nation. The # 2 ranked center in the class this kid is jumping the scales left and right. Evans has jumped 129 spots in the latest rivals. He has went from being unrnnked- -to the # 141 player - - -to the 12th ranked player. People saying he for sure a top 10 ranked player. , the big thing about his ranking reason took longer is stayed playing at a public School instead of going to play for a shoe company. .Elvert Perry has been Coaching him since he was 10. Perry said they just played in the States and he averaged a triple double in Scoring , blocks & rebounds. - Saying he avraged around 13-14 blocks per game.

He can score in the paint - - and yet step outside far from a one dimensional player. He can score with either hand , he can up & under--- he is 7'2 with a 7'7 wing span. 37 inch vertical. - he really likes KU they said even though other schools have entered the picture , Evans says Ku & Minnesota & TCU have seperated themselves.

They also said the deal with Coach Self & Townsend doesn't bother them, - -saying Dennis really doesn't care about blue blood schools or not even though he really likes KU. He says him and Townsend have developed a great relationship. This guy that has been his Coach said that HE had been to KU before and the reason for late night was hewanted Dennis to be able to see the culture of KU. Other things I wanted to mentioned but the story just got knocked off.

All I'm saying is if Dennis Evans is sold on KU , I don't car how amny big's we have these things have a way to work themselves out - - he wants to come then -- we need to find a way for him on this roster

IARP update • Jul 24, 2022 10:51 PM

Having this happen sure doesn't help our recruiting , when you can't have your Heda Coach being able to get out and recruit, mean alot to these kids. The article says KU can't comment cause could led to further violation is they were to discuss on going investigation
.
Talks about how this is the 1st cooperative effort by KU. It sends a signal among Coaching circles , with Self being absent that just increased speculation , they still talking significant suspension & post season ban.

I still think that YES Bill will be suspended , how long -who knows , I also think Townsend will be let go. Just ready to gt this behind us been drug out long enough. I think we all know that there has been violations committed - -how strong ? - -don't know just to much fire for there to be Nothing, we are not squeaky clean in this.

If they try to hit Coach with a show cause then I think things will hit the fan and be the biggest mistake for this screwy NCAA

Big 12 Expansion • Jul 22, 2022 12:07 AM

Well guys BIG rumors now to keep an eye out for the 1st week of August, Coming of Utah site and podcast talking about Colorado and Arizona looking to join or apply for acceptance by the first week of August some time.

Reports are saying Washington &Oregon like holding the Pac 12 hostage saying they want un equal shares to remain in the Pac 21. Had been some rumor that the ACC had reached out and was trying to get Washington & Oregon but guess that was not solid Also talking about reaching out to Stanford. .Saying now that Oregon & Washington say if they don't get un-equal shares they are entertaining the Big 12.

Word is an I quote " Colorado is pissed about this un-equal shares idea "

Talk also is ESPN trying to get an agreement with the pac 12 for modest amount as ESPN doesn't want to lose that late slot. - Fox HAS NO INTEREST in the PAC 12 a they are all over the SEC. .. Guess CBS wants the Big 12 as they are losing the SEC at the end of this year and want to work with the Big 12 and then have a prime time game with the Big 12 in the middle of the week like Wedns or Thursday Night.

Also talk like the Big 12 might just want TWO teams from the Pac 12 which would be Colorado & Arizona saying if they were to add FOUR teams it would cut their profits a little as where with two teams their profits actually would increase a little.. - -Who knows, but just to much smoke for nothing, Smoke coming from all directions.

Big 12 Expansion • Jul 20, 2022 01:33 PM

This whole expansion thing is crazy. I've read so many didn't articles , heard so many different people with their views , so many inside sources ( which when I say inside sources is people actually connected with different programs within the leagues & have let things leak out.

Just got through listening to another from 365 sports & they guy was being asked who he thought would be the 1st team to join the Big 12 ? He said he would hate to put percentages or numerological but like he said the ONE thing the ONE team that keeps be mentioned in every article - -every conversation is Arizona. talking like he would be shocked if Arizona wasn't. Then the next more likely then not very well could be Utah . Which kind of surprised me cause I had been hearing Colorado.

One thing is for sure the addition of teams from the PAC IS GOING TO HAPPEN. - -you can take that to the bank. When ? who knows , could be next week , could be next month , could be all the way at the end of the football season , BUT it will happen. - There is just way to much fire for it to not. - -To many sources

Like they was saying in this 365 , in the end it's everyone for themselves , they have to do what they feel is in their best interest for their athletic department , their School. When they get their answer from ESPN and how low that offer is -they gonna bail. Some reports of ESPN saying 25 million per school - -that's not going to get it done by far.

The main guy that does all the reporting for the Arizona Insider I think his name is Jason Scheer he is 100 % believes Arizona will land in the Big 12, he said from his sources saying what they have. - -He DOES say now if Arizona State doesn't come then that might cause a little different response from Arizona - -he doesn't think Arizona would leave Arizona State behind.

In the end from al I've red from all these different sites , fan posts and podcasts I've heard I think the most mentioned teams to jpin when it's all said and done would be Arizona - - Arizona Stae - - -Colorado - - Utah - -and then possibly Oregon - - -& Washington sure gonna be interesting

@Texas-Hawk-10 said in Big 12 Expansion:

@RockkChalkk The PAC 12 schools are going to wait and see what happens with the new TV deals they and Big 12 are working on which is the smart way to go. If you're officials at Arizona, Arizona St., Oregon, Colorado, Utah, and Washington, you'd definitely want to know what those potential values are before making a decision about the long term future of a school. I think it's more likely we see movement next year after each league gets their project TV deal packages which for the Big 12 will likely include values if they stay at 12, or go to 16 or 18 with the potential PAC 12 school additions.

Was listening to the pod cast of Arizona or one of the pac 12's. - -Heard that Fox is declining to bid on the Pac 12 network. Which means if ESPN is the sole bidder then the Pac 12 is in trouble , they come in and low ball the Pac 12 and you will see Schools bailing out and bailing out fast. -- Feeling is CBS is going to be on the Big 12

Also read/ heard that Fox & CBs Both appears likely to bid on the Big 12. Saying Fox has every incentive to drive the best Pac 12 Schools to the Big 12 to increase their return and cut ESPN off from late night inventory.

Multiple sources I've heard/read have also said they think that we won't know anything till after this coming football Season after that they think you will see game on.. In the end I think we will end up more likely then not with at least Arizona & Colorado. They were talking like Arizona really wants out and may even it it happens they would try and come by theirselves if the have to. They like others have said if Oregon & Washington are trying to hold out for an invite to the BIG , they very easily could be waiting for awhile , as the BIG isn't looking to add they thinking for like two years and then it will be Norte Dame. - They just say Oregon and Washington are tweeneres and just don't bring enough market value to the conference for the league to have to give them a slice of the pie.

Big 12 Expansion • Jul 14, 2022 05:05 PM

@RockkChalkk said in Big 12 Expansion:

@jayballer67 I haven't seen anything to indicate that. Actually quite the opposite, lots of indications that the Big 12 will be expanding again soon and are trying to pull at least a few PAC 12 teams. Things just don't move as fast as we'd like. There are a lot of dynamics that need to be sorted out.

Oh ya I've seen multiple , multiple articles about how the PAC 12 is going to stick together or try and stick together. - -You can go on almost any PAC 12 message boards and there wil be posts or links where the Commissioner or others are talking about they not going any where and gonna stick it out.

Now that's not saying that's how it's gonna turn out. I think we could get a couple of teams at least anyways from the PAC 12. I think Arizona WANTS to come , I think Colorado is looking for an escape - BUT from what I have read off multiple articles Utah is not crazy about coming to the Big 12 - - Arizona State fans come across to me like they think they are better then the Big 12.

The talk is with if Oregon & Washington don't get that invite to the BIg which that's not happening they are not going there right now anyways - -so if they stay in the Pac 12 it might be just for a short time but the article is saying it will give the league time to figure out what they are going to do.

It's a mess but I wouldn't say for the Big 12 that anything with the PAc is etched in stone by a longs ways - maybe we can - -maybe we don't - Some figure we will have a lot better read on how it will play out by the time they break camp for the Season we will see - -Nothing gonna happen for a while

Could be wrong have been n many times before. I wouldn't be upset if he landed here just think we have other players maybe we are after harder. - - I think Scotty lands at U Conn.

We ar one of the final 4, well it was 5 but he never visited Tex a & m - I just don't think in the end run they are in serious contention of the remaining schools

What time is Och & CB on ?

Mercy, I'm tellin you what - - one thing for sure Coach L is loading the D for sure, I think this defense - - this team might just surprise some people. Some of these transfer people pretty dam good, this D has a chance to be pretty salty.

Just saw this, but it’s a few days old.
For you Kansas folks, the girl plays for Nickerson High, and just committed to Iowa. Her father died in the accident. She’s on a ventilator. Sounds awful.

ya heard that on our local news here in Topeka. - -The kid or guy that hit them was they said driving under the influence of hydrocodone

Wow... I'd feel much better about going east than west! Bring these teams into the Big12!

How about we name our new conference "F*CK THE SEC!"

Some talk I've seen too that if this were to happen possibility of Louisville & Miami from the imploded ACC

@RockkChalkk said in Big 12 Expansion:

Apparently North Carolina, Florida State, Clemson, and Virginia are in talks to join the SEC. If it happens it could open up a whole other can of worms with the ACC leftovers. The possibilities seem endless. Teams like Pitt, Miami, NC State, Duke, Louisville, etc. could start to be looked at.

ya I'm hearing this too. - -SEC talking to ESPN or whoever it is about getting this GOR void for these ACC teams. They were talking saying if this happens would really help big 12 cause forcing the Pac 12 Schools plus possibly looking at Louisville & Miami from the ACC. - I can't keep up with this anymore just crazy.

Like one said though you can say good bye to March Madness

Big 12 Expansion • Jul 07, 2022 12:23 AM

Getting this from Baylor board. ( Jim Hill from CBS sports at 6 p.m. reported that Oregon & Washington are also in discussion with Big 12. Hill also mentioned that Phil Knight ( Nike Owner ) and huge booster for Oregon wants to follow USc & UCLA to the BIG or move to the SEC.

2 out of the 6 schools came out today and said they were committed to Pac 12 - ( Arizona State & Utah )

Big 12 Expansion • Jul 06, 2022 08:22 PM

Well I'm not feeling nearly as confident as I was earlier. Just listened to Matt Brown from the extra point , and he was saying that from the athletic directors he had talked to about how the Big 12 was in the drivers seat and that it was a close to anything the PAC 12 AD'S were saying Whoaaa not so fast that their weren't really any serious discussions and not really that sure about this whole Arizona and group joining If it does happen they said it's going to be awhile it's not something that is going to happen soon.

He said he really didn't think the Big 12 was in the drivers seat saying really he doesn't think there was going to be any more re-alignment or merging until he siad he thinks it's going to take until Norte Dame makes up their mind what they are going to do. - After they decide then we very well could see the next Domino fall. - He sure wasn't as positive about the Big 12 getting these teams from the Pac 12 as was thought

Well read this from TOS Greg Swaim tweeted out : " The Big 12 has made their offer to the six Schools in the Pac 12 very clear and has detailed Fox TV numbes to go with it. - - Understand that this offer has expiration date of 30 days. - - -Farmer , what you think ? - -any validity to this have you heard anything ?

I know from reading boards still lots of Arizona - -Arizona St and Utah fans thinking the best move would be for them to join Big 12 - -just don't know how much truth there is in this but on the other hand I've never heard of the guy but same goes FOR NOT being true.

Read an article saying that ESPN owns the shabang with the ACc and that the PAC 12 & the ACC hooking up really wouldn't make much of difference money wise. - let me hear your thoughts farmer

Big 12 Expansion • Jul 06, 2022 06:17 PM

I'm having a hard time figuring out why the Pac 12 talking heads are having such a hard time accepting the Big 12. they snubbed us before when some big 12 teams were possibly thinking about merging and now these same dam people are turning their noses when there is talk of some Pac 12 teams coming to the Big 12.

Still with the ACC reading their boards and for the most part Arizona and State fans think this talk of a loose parentship with the ACC would be a joke and not the answer to the money situation.

My question now becomes though if the Pac 12 does form this relationship with the ACC then what happens with us ? - -Doesn't paint a very pretty picture and again NO the chances of KU getting an invite to the glamorous BIG is a very remote possibility as they other schools still in line for invites before KU

This has all the feeling of my son and him collecting Pokemon cards.

What would happen if we ditch football? It's a huge loser for us and why not focus our AD on more productive sports. Then we go independent in basketball with the goal to truly become "America's team."

@Texas-Hawk-10 opened my eyes to our potential hit in academic programs and I do consider that a major consideration.

What happens when we think "outside of the box?" Big 10 inclusion is not going to happen and we waste our time having thoughts like that.

We form a union with the west and what happens (besides playing games late at night with viewership #s down)? If we are desperately seeking the financial strength of a conference... will this bring it to us? All I see is suddenly we are playing a bunch of games out west, when TV viewership drops considerably. Why do we win with that?

What could we be without football? Obviously, we won't be able to join these two super conferences (that aren't asking us anyways). If we didn't have the drain of football on our AD what could we become in many other sports? Since Kansas basketball is a well-known brand... why couldn't we be independent and draw home/away serious with most of the top teams? How would that work financially? Couldn't individual sports join conference memberships independently?

I think FarmerJayhawk pretty well answered your question about going independent in Basketball. -- -Conferenes and networks aren't going to do any KU favors in the middle of the season and schedule just so we can play them KU going indepedent would be suicide for our program just not workable

I'd caution everyone not to count our eggs before they hatch. This has the feel of something that could fall through. There hasn't been a ton of reporting about it, just the same rumor/tip being repeated over and over, not a lot of hard facts to go off of.

Colorado Board of regents has a meeting scheduled from between 5:30 & 7 tonight - -not off an site but off offical Web site - -pulled this of post from Baylor board. - Now does this have to do with the talks we had today ? - - hmmmm

Read Dennis Dodds latest from like a half hour ago. - -Saying the Big 12 was in DEEP discussions with the Pac 12 of adding at least 4 teams to the Big 12 , could be more- - -maybe 6 with Washinton & Oregon. -Talking about how the big 12 has a small lean in their favor with the two leagues
