If Locklin had any potential as a QB he would've been put into the line up last year and been the starter this year. Locklin was moved because he wasn't even good enough to compete with MacVittie, Daniels, or Kendrick.

I hope this student athlete got a degree or is close to that. He's been here since 2017. That'd be the only thing that makes his coming here worth it. He's a part of the biggest team scandal in history. He helped us get to the FF which is nice, but as a result, we'll get that stripped from the record and even if it doesn't get stripped, we got there and were thoroughly embarrassed by Villanova.
Fans like to post they're embarrassed when a team is performing poorly. I sometimes will gently chide them because they shouldn't be embarrassed, no one is going to point fingers at them and snicker! Then the fight last year, one of the worst moments I've had as a KU fan. THAT was embarrassing. It brought national shame on our program. Adding to the cloud of the coming sanctions and it was just too much. In my mind Silvio went from being the semi innocent victim in the adidas thing to being someone who made us look like Georgetown of the '80s.
Of course maybe if we knew the rest of the story I'd be a little less harsh. But we're left to speculate what prompted this latest drama.

Think this guy broke the kid down pretty good. - Really protects the rim , has pretty decent shot from distance , This guy says he is a LEGIT 7 footer. -Add a little mass /bulk to him. Have to say he probably for sure a 3 year player quite possible 4 unless he just explodes. - -runs pretty well.

Listening to Coach conference meeting with reporters today. Some takeaways I got were , probably the recruiting was the most interesting.
Was ask how COVID had effected. He said starting out things were good , got a couple of commitments pretty fast , saying now things have been a little stale. He mentioned that had some trouble closing. He mentioned with some of the recruits that it becomes really hard when a recruit can't visit the School , unless from what I understand he was talking about unless your in one of the more populated cities , players wanting to hurry up and commit - - not wanting another player taking their position. So not being able to visit the Campus hurts. - -Makes some sense , I can see that
Was asked and talked about how would it be without the packed fieldhouse for games, he responded by saying that people knew that KU had the vest home court advantage over the past years - -but he said he hoped and thought also the reason we had a god record was because we had really good players , and he also mentioned that while there would be a difference - -that there would also be a difference when we go o the road cause usually we get everyone's best shot when we play on the road.
The players were all asked about playing in front of no one in the Phog - -all said it would be different but thought they would be ok - -Players also talking about how Tryon ? - -is a sneaky good defensive player, long arms and his ability to Score.
Coach just said he thought although David was a different type player that he would be asked to handle be able to defend interior - said he thought David's Scoring would pick up but had to be able to play without getting in foul trouble - - pretty interesting article. - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Well this doesn't paint a very rosy picture. A top Health Offical - - Dr Lee Norman , says Kansas is losing it's battle with the COV!D-19 after another record was set had an increase or 1,855 new Confirmed cases and probable COVID-19 Since WEDNESDAY and 40 New Deaths.
Had an average of 671 new Cases a day for the 7 day ending Friday beating the previous of 667 - -Dr Norman saying Kansas is doing worse then other States.

The road rage accident was I guess a lot of athletes would park in his spot while going to the tuitoring office, Marshall would double park and block them in , one athlete pulled out before he was able to do that and he chased him and blocked him at an innersection - -Marshall got out and hollering at the athlete saying do you know who the F- - - I am the athlete responded I don't care who the F - - - you are and Marshall swung at him through the window

I don't go with that , the recruits like on 247 & Rivals they list their top 5 choices , that's the recruit doing that NOT anyone else , that is the recruit themselves listing the schools they are most interested in.
It's up to the School the one who is in charge of recruiting them to Sell the program - -the School If you telling me that Memphis and some of these others are on the level as KU in Basketball - -I just can't buy that , thats just solidifies the point that I say that if that's truly the case then some or all of our assistant coach's aren't getting the job done - they are not closing out on these kids.
Anyone that knows anything can't honestly say with 100% confidence that Memphis and some of these other lesser knowns are on the same blue blood level or have had the type of success and developing players and getting them into the NBA as Ku has - not happening , no way is that true

Because they are contractually obligated to broadcast every B12 football game. 2:30 on ESPN is not a prime broadcast slot because it's not ABC/CBS. None of KU's 3 games so far have been in desirable broadcast spots.

Dam , the real question is WHERE are we seeing any improvement ? - I mean this offensive line is just BAD. If you can maintain a block for more then 0ne two seconds and no create any kind of a hole for even as talented as Pooka is - - how the hell can you expect ANY kind of a running game? - - you really can't blame ANY of our QB'S when they are constantly running for their lives , can't even begin to let a play develop because the O-line can't hold a block.
This team is really really sad. Hard to phantom this team generates any kind of revenue for the Athletic program. Hard to generate revenue wit empty stands, that's where were headed. - -I just don't see ANY improvement no signs of encourgment - just terrible play
