Well sitting here thinking this morning, just watched some high lie video and yes I know it's high lite but still I just can't help but get excited about this 24 class coming in
.I'll say this we got some solid rim protection coming in that's a given high lite or not. - -Flory get's it done just watched him in his Conference championship game, he had 17 points----24 rebounds and 10 blocks - - -that is a pretty impressive line. -Yes may still be raw offensively it looks like his shot is decent, a left handed shooter, now in the clip seen him draining 3 point shots left and right - -BUT it was a drill so kind of hard to judge, but his shot looked pure. Flory is thicker then what I thought , looks pretty solid.
Passmore looks solid , drives the ball well solid shot - -Then Philon looks very solid I know they are incoming freshman but you can see the talent in these guys legit.
Very sweet class and yet - - -could you imagine if w ended up landing Darryn Peterson to go with these three -or even Sanon for that matter - -would be an insane class - -My gut tells me I think we have a vey legit shot at Peterson - fingers crossed.

Was reading a little more on Scot's position , They said that this heart condition is exactly the same as what his dad had, his father unfortunately passed away waiting on he list for his transplant.
Saw a picture of Scot and his Wife Dawn, and Dawn said that Scot wanted everyone to know that his pre heart transplant hair is gone lmao.
His condition he has is called Cardiomyopathy and it causes his heart to beat an extra 10,000 time a day - ( Lord have mercy )-- insane., and half his siblings also have this same Condition.
This whole thing they said happened after he received a Non Covid flu shot in 2021, and he had a virus that activated this genetic condition . Scot has been the Vanderbilt hospital since February 6th.
Seeing Scot's picture boy he has put on a lot of weight, ha didn't know but I guess from all his different hair do's when he was at Ku and such they nick named Scot - - -Samurai Scot- -lol.- - -Prayers are with you, and may GOD be with you. Always thought you were awesome, wishing nothing but the best. May of played to a some what different fiddle but your the best lol
Had to edit, forgot to add also Scot did an interview and was mentioned that during this interview that Scot had to hang up 2-3 times during this because he just got so exhausted from talking he had to I guess take breaks. Then on top of that said he couldn't even go to his son's game from the exhaustion - - just sad, sounds really bad for our guy

Yes very true , I thought that myself. Just goes to show you it kind of goes with the territory. You have good programs then you will always have to put up with the risk of losing those Coach's to better programs , higher paying programs. -Just got to have trust that Coach L will find that adequate replacement for him - but this one was a big hit to the gut as several others have mentioned on different sites.
Another way to look at it also is, a loss like this in the past like I said would of been a huge blow as not that many quality would of wanted to come to a program such as KU, but now that we have a vey competitive program there are other really good assistants that would have no problem joining the staff.--I'm sure we will be fine with the guidance from Coach L. - -ROCK CHALK

Welp , KU losing another Coach from Coach L's Staff. Guess that's what happens when you have good Coach's.- -Coach Fuchs , is leaving KU for the NFL , been on Coach L's staff think it said for the last 5 years.
So we have now lost three Coach's from Leipold's staff this off season-makes it rough, have lost Coach K. ( offensive coordinator ) - Coach Peterson ( Defensive Backs )- - -& now Coach Fuchs ( Offensive Line )
Before Coach Fuchs took over KU land had given up like 44 sacks in 9 games I think they said averaged like 4.4 sacks per game , worst stat of any School since they had started keeping track in the Big 12. -Fuchs takes over and Ku I think it said had given up 47 sacks ? -- in 38 games for an average of 1.1- - hell of a job by him shoring up our O-Line protecting our QB and RB's
Dam this hurts, hope these replacements we have hired do the job, makes it hard to keep kids committed when you lose Coach's that recruited you to KU- -This is where Coach L steps up makes sure they know everything will be ok
think of these stats, for her Soph year Woodard scored 1,177 points -- - - averaged 31.0 points per game - - - 14.3 rebounds per game - - and 5.3 steals per game. I would say she had a pretty good Season lol.- - - I got to see her play a couple times, she was a special talent --that's with out the three point line and a bigger ball that Season also.
There are many , many former players Coach's saying that Lynette's should be recognized as the record holder.- -Kim Mulkey Coach of LSU , Muffie McGraw , Lark Birdsong , Tara Vanderveer Coach of Stanford , to name some & of course Marion Washington Lynette's Coach.- -If I remember right Woodard was the first female to play for the Harlem Globe trotters also.- These other ladies saying it is a disgrace to recognize her as the all time scoring leader and a disgrace to Womens basket ball. As far s Lynn herself she says she is happy for Catlin , as it has brought more attention to the women's game.
Point has been brought out Catlin is actually still 126 points less then Woodard -- Lynette played with bigger ball and played without the three point shot. - -You take the three point line away from Catlin , she wouldn't even be close. NCAA spokesman said that Woodard is not regarded as such because the NCAA does not recognize individual stats while schools were members of other associations. - it was the AIAW that was the association when Lynette played , that Association was from 1972-81.-- The NCAA didn't govern Womens Basketball until 1981-82 a year AFTER Lynette graduated.
There was mention the whole idea about the NCAA not recognizing individual stas accomplishments until after this time, they said that's not 100 % accurate as they brought up a Women Coach being or having more wins then Coach K from Duke and being recognized by th NCAA- -well 42 of here wins came BEFORE the NCAA took ofer so saying that theory doesn't hold water. - -Lynette was AND still is the all time scoring leader.

So seen this -- this Morning. --I think we take it harder, get more critical - -talking smack on players & Coach's this includes me just as guilty BUT we have to also try and realize it's not just KU that's doing so poorly on the road this year. - -Stats don't lie. Gary Parrish wrote this Article and said :

So actually NOT just KU by any means that are playing like crap on the road this Season , Plus some of these top ten teams have a MUCH DEEPER BENCH then the position KU is in and are STILL getting beat on the road, Some of these top ten teams also are being able to play WITHOUT having to play without their top scorer ( McCullar for multiple games ) - So maybe , just maybe we need to back up a little.
Awful easy to thump that chest /boast when things are going good like Peach's and Cream for the team BUT man when we hit that rough spot - - OMG the world is coming to an end. These kids are not trying to on purpose lose these gams - -it's going on all over the Nation this year in College Basketball - -it happens. We just want perfection - that's not happening. Things will get better. Right now teams are taking advantage of our shortcomings this year - -no bench - -injuries , so when we lose it get's blown up by National media - -why ? - Because this is not normal , year after year, after year KU is a power. -when things like this year happen to us it just get's magnified. -I'll say this these other teams better kick us while were down cause when we get back up -- -AND WE WILL GET BACK UP and it will be soon - - look out because you shouldn't poke the Bear.
Just saying maybe we need to be a little easier on these guys--they are tryin and doing the best they can under present circumstances- - -instead of beating them up - -certain people here that have a hard on for trying to talk smack on certain player every dam time they come in this site- -just chill the f- - - out. The Ladies continued playing better tonight.--Winning their 4th straight & their 5th out of their last 6 - -Yet they still going to have to really work to make the tourney because of play early , now THEY DID have the 3rd toughest Non Con in the Nation but also started out at 0-3 in league which didn't help - -and a lot of that is because of Coach sad to say - since that start they have went 7-3 , was picked third in prseason.
Tonight T Jackson got her 38 career double double with 18 points- -13 rebounds - - * 6 blocks, she is a fire plug , got a little nasty in her, a little temper which gets her in trouble some times-- likes to talk smack some , but if you can back it up I guess a little is ok. -Holly Kirksgeiter scored 23 points- - - Mya Nicols our leading scorer on the Season got 14- she is our little 5 star out of Kansas City a freshman -and Wyette Mayberry finished with 10 points - - Good job Ladies- - now 7-6 in League and 14-10 on the year but playing better

Agree , I mean Brett has done some really good things, like being aggressive in the football expansion and making the Big 12 more stable for now in that aspect. But this - - - -this is a wrong idea. Just like the BIG & SEC in football-- the BIG 12 & ACC are behind this - -- Yormork pushing for expansion calling it a Business equation , adding more teams would be taking more teams from like the NIT that didn't get invited and yet would eliminate some of the smaller schools their chance . Dellinger say this is an evitable expansion - -- expansion means more access for at large bids.
They say the question is - -how many people would continue to watch as the Tourney gets even more watered down ? - this might be one of the first WRONG moves Yormork is pushing for , again it's the Big 12 & the ACC pushing for expansion , no numbers of how many have been thrown out- - some mention 72 teams- -not a good situation
