Well My fellow KU Brethren , Here we are sitting on the threshold of another KU B-Ball Season , waiting here with baited breath

I just feel that I would be doing an injustice if I didn't say something about the upcoming Season , that I would feel guilty, and this is - - -- -That we must - - just must temper our expectations for this team and the upcoming Season and the NCAA tourney. - -I know , I know, but we just must.

I mean after all We have is a Hall of Fame Coach, that restricts -stunts players development , We have a Coach who refuses to insert other players and continually playsa D -2 player instead of more talented/better players , we have a Starting PG in hiss what fifth yr / that is nothing but a D-2 player ?--- come on, what's wrong lol.

So just remember before you let your emotions get to far out of control- - -expectations get to high, that this team will go no further until Coach starts , implementing what our expertise here on our very own site is trying to let Coach know what he is doing wrong for heavens sakes, -Why won't Coach listen to our ol gran Pooh Ba , but yet tis the Season for hope.

Looking forward to another Season of enlighten our chat with the ol wise one - -well we can't chat when they lose, we don't hear a lot when we win . LMAO, anyway my friends get ready , tip off is not far away - -just hope Coach can change his ways, he hasn't been very successful lmao--- ROCK CHALK

Houston beats KState. We destroyed Houston, barely lost to KState. Houston also beat TCU whom I thought was our toughest opponent. We really struggled to stop them. There's a side that I'm a part of that we've won some moral victories at least this year. I know that sucks but some times the odd plays that happen in a season cause us to lose like every time. Go back to my what if post. I'd rather take some satisfaction in these crazy frustrating losses than losing by 50 every week.

weird thing about it is, and a lot won't believe this, but even crazy frustrating losses are better then being blown out losses of fifty.- -There is a reason they are called crazy and frustrating-- -it's called progress. Well sure looks like this is the week it comes to a Head.-- Our Ladies just won two more contests and stand -- (= =20- -& - -1 -) on the year and ranked # 8 in the Nation.

here is the Deal, this WEDNSDAY the Ladies go to Tempe to play Arizona State. KU like I said is 20 - -1 -- & --11- 0 in league. - Arizona State is- -22 - - 2 on the year and - -10 - -1 in the League.- -KU has won Eleven in a row -- -Arizona State has won Ten in a row -- Arizona St is 9- - - 0 at home , has not been beat this year. at home
Long story short - -THIS is going to be a war - - I'm telling you guys if you are at home Wednesday Night , not much going on , you really need to check this match out if you have ESPN PLUS. It's very entertaining some really good play -- Comes on and play at 7:30 -Check it out- -I wish I could be there.

Oh it's been a great day -- -A GREAT DAY- - First Iowa St gets knocked off their all mighty horse-- -that was Awesome, - -Then K/Sucks get's beat by Houston - - -HOUSTON ! !

Just goes to show how this football Season has worked out. You know Ku could be just a easily 6 -- 2 instead of 2 - -- 6.-We have lost FOUR GAMES by a combined total of THIRTHTEEN POINTS-- THIRTHTEEN ! ! AND in those we have led in the FOURTH QTR, where as KSU could be just as easily be five & Four instead of Seven & two- they have won TWO of their games by a total of FIVE POINTS -Colorado-- 31-28- - - & KU - -29-27,- -so if I was one of their fans I wouldn't be squealing to loud- -They have been playing with fire and it finally caught them today, This is the same Houston team we boat race 42- -14. - -just a few breaks here , a few breaks there, and our Season would be much better BUT that's football fella's

could look at it both ways , on one side you say NO be loyal to Jalen for the remainder of the Season , players /WR's already have that connection with him -- him being a SR I dunno just kind of bad to yank him this stage of his career at KU just think might be a wrong move. Now I could very easily be wrong on this - - Don't really believe there is a right or wrong answer to this.

On the other side like I said other then playing out the SEason we do not have any thing obtainable. Heard this off a podcast this afternoon Hosted by Adam Finkelstein & Issac Trotter. - -They said that the big twelve had FIVE Legit Title conders-- Houston , KU , Iowa State , Arizona , & Baylor broke them all down and here is what they said about KU.

They said that KU had absolutely addressed their needs, saying Coach's knew they needed more Catch & Shoot 3 point shooters - - got that with Rylan Griffin - -Coach's knew they needed more wing Scoring - -got that from A J Storr , Coach's knew they needed more middle of the floor shot creator ---got that from Zeke Mayo. Saying that Dejuan was probably the most reliable PG in College Basketball ( Dam sorry kuballinI know how bad that has to hurt others saying good things about Juan guess more then just people here -Talked about the continuity & reliable defense - -saying everyone knows their role, saying defense is always going to be here. Saying also with Juan being at the point of attack and KJ flyin around putting out the fires

They said as far s the defense, they don't know if KU will have a top 10 defense - -but think they can have a top twenty defense and with the Offfensive fire power that KU has this year makes them a vey legit Title Contende

I watched that last night, I think they had to have a reality check after their 1sst game 25/13 KU- -think they maybe thought was gonna be easy T3ch was 11-10 on Season and 3-6 in league - -Tech took it to the Ladies in 2nd game 20/25- -- -then KU ladies finally late in 3rd game got it together- had to go extra after trailing most of the set won 27/25 -finishes off 4th set 25/20.

Like has been said 10-0 in League - -Huge game coming up against ASU I think they are 13th in the Nation playing in Tempe , I think wew have WV Saturday then I think ASU - -hold on to your shorts. --Love watching this group they can really pllay

Epic meltdown, just piss poor, they had the Dodgers right where they needed. As good as Aaron was in the regular Season and no one can deny that he was the best period BUT Aaron Judge is a complete failure in Post Season, I've seen it before

He is NOT even close salary wise in the play offs. -Then he amazes routine fly ball I mean a toddler could do better,- -then Volpe right play but short arms a throw to 3rd look like he used a 2x4 for an arm during that play. This kind of thing showed it's ugly head before during the Season -- BUT 3 fricken Tee-Ball plays in the same inning ?that play

LA scored 5 runs in the fifth not a single run was earned. When that happened Cole fell apart, lost all focus, and fricken Bone just stood there spitting seeds fricken bone head. --They had their chance LA was dead in this game before that- -showed absolute no signs of life --all you had to do was catch a routine fly dum ass lol

At this point in time- - -as of right now Storr just looks uninspired to me , no mo jo Coach has his work cu out for him, how many rebounds did HE get? I bet not over 4-5-- at this point looks like blow average free throw shooter Make one , miss one- -hope he is fixable, just not sure about his TEAM attitude

Sure looks like we got some shooters/scorers spacing on the floor gonna be a lot better, should open the inside for Hunte a lot better , Mayo looked more comfortable. Diddy is a big bonus , kid can fill it up , I worried about him being able to g his shot being 5'8 but he does a good job finding space - -lots like he has a quick release - -I think Bill found a hidden jewel, Just love his approach--- Solid- ---Griffen was fine we got like 4 pretty decent shooters for 3 pt

I think the two let downs for me and people should know from here how I try to defend Juan BUT to me he just looked terrible last night. TWICE that I know of he dribbled right into a trap back to back and turnovers really bad with the ball, not going to cut it-- -that's just one example, got to get a grip on it. - -Then 2nd? --- -ZACH , ZACH , ZACH-- -mercy I just don't see here there are many minutes all all for him. Just so out of control- -just doesn't fit. I at one time thought it's ok he will improve - -he hasn't improved, only minutes I can see is mop up minues with walk on at the end--- - he just doesn't have it

He needs to balance letting guys come in and play their way aggressively and slowly meld it to fit what he wants so by January it works.

Instead he tries to break them of every bad habit from the tip and neuters them. This has happened for two decades here with countless players. Wish he’d mature in his thought process.

If you’ve taught any sport the ability to retain confidence while tweaking the player is crucial. With the portal we don’t have 2-3 seasons to tear a player down and rebuild him

Self retired after this year or next - book it

As a matter of fact I've tried to curb back, I probably over react to games. -I let my love, my dedication even though i've never taken any class at KU not smart enough & couldn't afford to --doesn't mean I'm not one of the most loyal.- -I let my passion for this School my temper get me in trouble sometimes in the past, even still some.

I can remember as a kid when I couldn't wait until when the Street & Smith Basketball mag would come out so I could look and see if KU was everlisted in the hunt for a Top player-- I remember going through Ted's lean years where you could pick your seat almost where ever you wanted because attendance was not good I remember going to the Big Eight Holiday tourney in the old Municipal Auditorium meeting Aubrey Nash , The Kivisto Brothers , Bob & Tommy - -Rick Suttle- - -Danny Knight- - -Kelly Knight - - -- meeting Dave Robisch Ron Franz - Ronnie Kellog -- -Calvin ( Pony Thompson )-- -those were the days

Got absolutely abused defensively the entire game and no clue how the box score didn’t have him turning it over 5 times (somehow 2).

He never starts the game and keeps us close he relies on everyone else to carry him

Bill legitimately is staring another second round loss in the face with his favorite 1 and 4 of all time. He has no concept of team building with regards to today’s game and what he values in players isn’t the most important traits in translation to winning it all

After we get bounced this year he will retire with 5/6 second round loss

His systems are outdated and the fact guys can’t shuffle in and out smoothly and he constantly neuters great players (remy and now storr….and it would have been Spencer last year had we got him - he’d somehow not defended well enough or whatever. I mean people praise how great we are based on big 12 consistency. Nah that’s homer glasses. Big 12 constantly underperforms in the tourney. We finally added legit basketball competition and watch where we finish these last two years.

The big 12 consecutive titles is nice but fans starting to see it was a facade and made sense based on our ncaa accomplishments. Propt us up with 1 seeds when in reality we didn’t deserve them and got bounced.

Self isn't screwing Storr up - - Storr is screwing up himself- -Storr not only doesn't he DEFEND well enough he doesn't defend at all. Coach knew that right off Self has nothing to do with that and until he learns then he isn't going to be a big part, what he is is as huge black hole Until he becomes more of a team player instead of a black hole- - -me , me , me it's gonna be ugly for him.= - - You must have one huge hard on for Juan yet it's kinda old - -you need to find something /anything to wine about, dam dude anything if your so un happy with Self and Juan you might need to find you a new hobby OR A NEW TEAM TO SNIFFLE ABOUT - -maybe you could PICK UP KNITTING S A new hobby& a fresh glass of milk
