Well , I seen this coming after this weekend , seen an article not sure though if it was AP , or ESPN but we are now # 3 in the Nation behind Houston. I have no qualms with that. Our play has been very average to not quite so average to say the least. We have won like 5-6 games in Single digits,- We WOULD NOT of got that call if we were on the road, and like Coach said Hunter sure sold that call. If they hadn't called that it could of been a loss, as TCU would of had the ball up two with like a minute /four to go.- -not saying they would of won, guess we will neve know now, BUT that was a huge turn - a four point swing from down two and TCU with the ball to KU up two. - -Ya I think we are lucky to be 13-1 right now.

As far s people saying we are a 2nd round exit ?- -at this point I would have to say that's very possible I'd say as of right now I think this team is maybe a Sweet sixteen team, just have seen other clubs looking better, more athletic , bottom line is unless we get more point production out of other people, we aren't going that far in the NCAA's if teams can slack off one player on the floor that hasn't shown consistent ability to score and reluctant to shoot at times, - -and you have another player that has shown he can score, but refuses and is reluctant to shoot a lot of times - those aren't very good odds to win deep in the tourney. Now everyone has their own opinions and that's fine no problems, I'm just saying we just haven't really look that impressive against quality opponents , I mean ya we have beaten U Conn & Tennessee & Kentucky & that's good. We played good but impressive ?-- - - Cases can be made for those Schools also - - Kentucky was early , early and they were missing key players ( Bradshaw for one ), U Conn one of their best players was hurt, and another played through the game hurt. - Ya we loss to Marquette who is good, but that's looking even worse now as they have gotten beat by lesser teams, you want to try and tell m Seton Hall is better then KU who beat Marquette.

Lastly, we got work to do, again I have no problem with Houston being above us, un defeated and more dominate , just played better ball. I still like this team but yes we are lucky to be where we are at

Well starting off really well for 2025. - -We got our verbal today from Malachi Curvey , projected for linebacker here at KU - -has been playing some tight end but defense here. - -Pretty night pick up. Dad played for Iowa State, but said he wasn't going to interfere with his sons recruitment. - He is a composite 4 * - but 247 says he is 3 * but very good player.

Rated as the # 278 player in the nation according to the composite 3rd best out of Iowa--around Des Moines. - -One of the best things about it, we took him from other offers from -- -Missouri - - Iowa State- - & K/State - no better Schools to win a recruitment -- great pick up

Add him to our QB commit - -David McComb - out of Oklahoma ranked as the # 453 Player-- -things starting off well

I agree, they have just got to find/get some kind of minutes/production out of this bench , because of the physicality of this league we just can't continue to have the starters having to play those type of minutes. Also they have just got to gt more scoring production out of other players - -Kevin , Hunter , & KJ had to do this all by themselves in the first half - -other then Johnny's ONE point . In the 2nd half others finally was able to get some contribution. - -Juan has just got to score or look to score more, - he has proven he can do it. Coach has said multiple times Juan is a reluctant shooter. I think maybe to a point other
He teams realize a lot of times when he drives baseline of course he isn't going to try and score - - going to try and kick it out, and I think part of the problem for his recent rise in turnover, stupid forced passes. He is capable - -someone has to step up. Three guys isn't going to get you to the promised land the deeper you go in the tourney we need others to produce more

He got yanked out quickly because just had n sooner came into the game and I believe he was the one who made silly turnover with I think Double Dribble. Couldn't of picked a worse time to screw up that was one of the stretchs where Bill was trying to find that fifth guy, Furphy came in got yanked then Mcdowell came in and got yanked, Bill was not in a good mood during that stretch. Just got through listening to TCU postgame , Jamie really slick trying to play it cool about the calls or some of the calls without getting himself in trouble with the league. - -He would work his words around like talking about they was hoping they could get some traveling calls on some lobs, BUT the pass was right on the money, or he would say w was hoping we could work hard enough that we might get some calls for push in the back and yada , yada , yada -thought he was pretty slick on taking jabs about the officiating without getting in trouble

When the lead was as large as it was for most of the game, he doesn't need to force himself to score more.

True , BUT there have been a lot of times when that lead s we have not really destroyed a lot of people this yr, check out th point differential -- he needs to become more of a threat on the offensive end. Until that happens teams are going to continue to ignore him on the offensive and doubling even more on Hunter. - he has the ability , just very reluctant to shot, were going to need his offensive input somewhere along the line for sure this season.

yet him being able to move out to take those 15 footers and make most of them ( shooting right at 50 % from the 3 ) which is leading the team, him being able to do that means a lot. That's why you see Coach really doesn't have a problem with that, much more versatile- -with him out there and be able to hit that shot, it forces opposing big men to come out and guard him and that in turns opens up/ free's up more room in the middle for others such as Kevin & KJ to operate.- if he just camps down low, it clogs up down low and takes away our other options. no problem with how he is playing,
