He listed some pretty big time schools - -Arkansas , Auburn , Florida State , Georgia , & I think Cinn. - what makes it or seem more promising to me is it's a Florida guy that put the pick in for KU - you would think he might have a little more insight on local kid then others. - -Would be sweet

Juan is a little fire plug/pistol . does so many things- - -small things on top of others. Glad he is a Jay Hawk. Coach is right , probably / - -no more likely under appreciated. Easy to place blame on him when things aren't working, he seems like he is the one that is easy prey for people to lash out at . - -He is a Really- --again really good defender. Could his shot be better - -SURE it could. it's nice to have a PG that can score BUT there are also many other thing that make a PG and Juan checks them all.
I know aome people won't agree with this but Juan played a huge part in out Championship game against NC. I t was he that played a big role in the start of the 2nd half when w were down. I have to admit I'm as guilty as others on him some times - -but in reality YES, I'm glad we could have Juan for 2 more years

I think like others have said believe it or not I think the success of this portal Season depends a lot on the quality of a 5 we can get to commit. If you can get a quality guy that opposing D ha to respect and really man up on him, then opens sooo many other options. They have to respect 5 spots opens things up for our guards to do more things.
KJ works his ass off but yet he isn't really any kind of threat out past 7-8 foot consistency wise anyways. I f you can get a big that can stretch the floor some as well as post down low then your good. - -You notice most 5's in modern day basketball do stretch the floor - -more mobile - - that would be Hunter - he has multiple ways to score - he post down low if they double down on him then opens up open looks for the wings/guards. - -if he comes out - - then opens driving lanes - I think our success of the portal depends on if and who we can get for the 5

See we got a official visit set up with Trae Johnson. Johnson is the # 1 overall consensus player out of the 2024 class. - He has his visit scheduled for May 5th-7th. - Of Course all the big dogs in , he visited Kentucky in January, but you know Kent , Duke ,, N Carol , Tenn , Baylor , Texas Tenn guys like that. We are his 4th visit. He has one more he can take sounds like he will decide before his Senior season starts. I think I saw some where Duke was probably the favorite - -could be wrong though.
Scouting analyst compare him with Devin Booker , saying though they would like to see him improve against back court pressure and decision making. Loves the Mid range game 6'5 -I didn't even realize we were involved in any way. -He says Ku pitch is that he can come in and be the one and done and help out to championship -just putting this out there
