Going to be interesting Saturday . Even though I much prefer Kendrick over Bender Saturday might lead to at least starting Bender once again. At the present Baylor is 9th in the league against the run giving up an average of 181 yards per. - - -Ku is 2nd in the league in rushing averaging 225.7.

Was reading some of the comments from Williamson last night after his commitment - -kind of interesting /intriguing . some even I thought was humorous in comparison with KU.
He says he built a better relationship with Coach Mack then any other head Coach recruiting me. ( that means even his dream school's head coach0 REALLY? He won't let me fail when it comes to reaching my dream. ( what Coach would ) if you truly have that capability ?

Sounds like Self misread and misplayed a couple situations. In recruiting that can bite you. Not closing Williamson with all his ties to the program is pretty bad no doubt about it.
I'm not even sure where they turn now, there are no good realistic options at the 2/3. The staff was pretty all-in on Williamson. Braun is nowhere near an adequate replacement.
He may not be that adequate replacement but he might be the only choice at this stage - and that's sad. - Same way on the Big's GOD forbid we lose JRE and that could very easily happen - -and then If UK ends up taking Hurt? - - - gives a bad look for our staff this year - - who you going to replace them with? -- Sure sounds like the staff screwed up with Williamson

See this is what I love about this year's team. We have so many combinations we can run/pit out on the floor- -how you gonna stop it? I think you will see so many different types. We can play big we can play small - -were going to be able to run - - be able to block/defend. Our guys are going to be match up nightmares. - -We can paly Doke at the 5 - - Dedric at the 4 Vick at the 3 - or hell we can even play KJ at the 3 sometimes - - - back up Doke at the 5 with either Silvio OR McCormick - - or you can have Silvio backing up Dedric at the 4 sometimes- - -- or we can even have Mitch backing up Dedric in certain spots.
The backcourt? - - Grimes at the 2 -- -- Dotson at pg or Moore can flip one way or another - -then you have Garrett. - -or we can slide Vick at times to the 2 and slide KJ down to the 3 KJ better rebounder then Vick - -so many possibilities.
The guys will be much more aggressive on defense because of depth- -guards can be way more aggressive knowing they have back line help if they get beat - -we have the rim protectors. - The bigs can be more aggressive for rebounds and blocks again because of the depth - -it can be insane what we throw out on the floor. - Should be very interesting. - - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

i will say again I don't believe Beaty will be fired during the season. I think Long will be scoping the landscape throughout this year and then AFTER the season- - - depending on how it goes he will make that decision , I just don't think he will want to disrupt the team ANYMORE then what it already is.
I still think what I would like to see if it comes to yet ANOTHER Coaching change , Ideally for me what I think maybe do under the perfect scenario for me would be - -Everyone talking Les Miles - -Les Miles - all thought I don't think we have a snowball's chance in hell of that happening - - -One I just don't think he would want to take on such a huge task this late in his career and two his age.

Pooka seems like the real deal , we shall see. Here is the deal for me - the way I would look at it IF I were the recruit - my thought process and I guess I'm the lone stone in the grass if it were me - -anyways this would be me:
If I were a recruit and if I had stated like that a school was my dream school , then I received an offer from that school? - - Game over - -done - -finished- -others don't bother.- -Like my case would be KU. -If KU was my dream school and they had interest in me - -and they offered I don't care who else did - -ANYBODY period.
My reasoning? - -I mean why waste other schools time? - I know this is the school I want , why drag it on - I would want to be done so I could focus on my Senior year and not be bothered with the distractions - I would make PERFECTLY CLEAR I had chose my school. Better for them too they could focus elsewhere. - -I don't need to take anymore visits. I always thought he was a distraction - so my hype - -I think it got into his had and his play got worse bad decisions , turnovers, bad shots.
