Well to say I was surprised would be an under statement. - -For the 1st time in I can remember - -umm think we have a defense. - - Like Aaron said after the game the lady says well pretty defensive game saying Chicago gave Green Bay Fits - - like Aaron said Chicago's defense is going to give ALOT of teams trouble

Thing is Green Bay got 5 QB sacks and 11 QB hits - -and the huge Int - -Like Aaron said our offense will improve BUT we got a Defense he said. - - I think after watching - -YES we do have a Defense for a change - - just one game -- but I'll take the start , tough place to win against a pretty good football team

I have to question some of their moves - -- -not impressed by any means with Kizer but DAM moves letting Jordy go - -and now Let Clay go. Can't say I care for the way this recruiting has played out now going into this 2nd year - -last minute scrambles and looking that way again this year - - can't land or having trouble closing on the upper crust - and Now we can't even get a visit from the middle of the pack players - -WTH. - - ( Got a feeling some other Coach's doing a good selling job with this NCAA Scandal BS - and possible violations ) either that OR someone on this staff isn't getting the job done on these kids - -either way this is beginning to suck - -and I do mean suck.

Well, gives us a bad look - - - - A KU Linebacker ( Thomas Barrett ) from Cleveland was Arrested at the Hawk around 12:30 Saturday /Sunday Morning. As of Monday no Charges had been filed. Posted bond a couple of hours later - -1,500 bond.

Thing I don't get - - he is scheduled for a Sept 17th hearing court appearance - - -if no charges had been filed - -why the 17th Court appearance?

He was arrested on Suspicion of Contributing to a child's misconduct and displaying or possessing a fictitious or fraudulent ID card.

Was on Big 12's Commissioners Honor roll and the Athletic Directors Honor Roll this past spring - - Mercy

Think David Lawrence made a pretty accurate statement after KU went down . - -After the game he said - -that's the difference between last years team and then this years team.

I wish I felt more confident with Bryce for us. - - I think we have our work cut out for us with the Oklahoma schools - -- Especially Okie State , even more with them then Lonnie BUT you never know.

Not saying we can't and won't get his commitment but just don't have a solid feel as of yet anyways. Just a hunch. Visiting his "dream school" on a football weekend should be a good atmosphere and good visit for him. I don't know whether they tried to get him to visit later (like for Late Night) or closer to the signing period so I'm just connecting dots that he might be closer to a decision and if the visit goes well might end in our favor.

Having seen the kid play this past year on TV I wouldn't call him elite at anything. He definitely is in the mold of a Diallo or a Oscar Tschiebwe. He is a bit raw offensively but is active and gets up and down the floor, plays above the rim and can definitely alter and block shots at a very good rate. He's definitely someone Self likes to have on the roster

I was wondering the way they was describing him - -was wonder about the other kid from WV - the shot blocker Konate? - would be nice - -you think he compares to him any at all? - -they talk about how he has a high motor runs all the time curious?

Oh, I definitely do! Like @jayballer73 said, it's just my guess for his list. I know those 5 will be on it, not sure on the other 2. I think KU, UNC, and Okie Lite are the top 3, not sure on the order. Earlier this summer it looked like it would be KU or UNC and he'd commit before school started, but now it looks like he'll take 5 officials and decide around the early signing period.
