TL;DR Jalen was sounding like a KU lean early until Michigan blew him away but it looks like essentially being 2nd place before could pay off. Also we need Grimes to stay gone.

The thing that sticks to me is - - -RJ has stated that he DOESN'T necessarily have to be Point , he doesn't have to have the ball in his hands all the time , more or less could play the 2 spot which I think that is where they have told him anyways - -he stated he just wants to play around other great players, BUT him and Devon could inner change - -or also they COULD move Devon to the 2nd if they thought that's what truly needed to be done to fit RJ. - Let RJ play the point and Devon the 2 or visa versa - it can work.

I think the issue is he didn't qualify to transfer and use the grad-transfer route which would have allowed him to go to Memphis. If that's the case I think KU's out as well.

Well got to say I heard Jalen's instagram interview and yes I am biased -but man I couldn't help but come away but feeling very good about our position with him.- -just kindof high lites on the schools he focusing on :

1st he was talking about how shocked he was when he found out about the Michigan Coach , then said the assistants came in and told him to just cool down see how things play out - -pretty much dismissed that right away - now having to go through the process again -said the main thing is he has to gain trust - asking the next Coach how long the Coach is going to be there

OK so he said this on North Carolina : any time a school that has had guys like Micheal Jordan play there , and talked about this dude Armondo BaCock is going there been talking about him coming in and playing telling him to come join Tarheel nation , - -Being able to play in the Acc - -the chance to be able to play against Duke all things he liked. - and so on - -really not anything that actually scares me a lot.

The other two schools Florida & Oklahoma St - the read I get on those two was really not HUGE factor - true a factor not saying a Zero % chance for these schools - but just didn't hear much.

Then comes KU Guys said now I know this gets fans excited but now KU, said pretty well known that before you committed to Michigan you was pretty sold on KU

The thing that is starting to make me worry some now is Devon is showing in the combine , pretty solid - - although before they said he wasn't even in the top 2 rounds. - I think no matter how he ends up , strong show and all it's not good enough to get him even into a latte 1srt round. Plus he still has the weakness that NBA listed that he needs to come back and work on.

They stated Devon recorded in the top 5 in the 3/4 sprint at 3.14 sec - -and hit just shy of 60% of various 3 pt shots - and he had 5-8 from 2pt - - - had 9 assists - - - 6 rebounds - - - a Block in 22 minutes. - -That's a pretty solid line in 22 minutes of play - - I think this line was against the team Quentin was playing on. - -had 2 pretty solid outings - -that's what kind of scares me. - -but hopefully he will come back - -work on those weakness -- like I said after next year he comes back -- ALL bets are off. - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY
