@jayhawkblue73 percentage wise much more blacks are killed by police. People that make up 13% of population shouldn’t be close to the people that make up 72% of it (white). Definitely doesn’t mean that some of them aren’t justified but definitely an alarming number.

@jayhawks2010 I have the same thing about training on here several times. Like I said we have hold both sides accountable. Cops being trigger happy is a problem but so is resisting arrest and fighting police with or without a weapon. He was likely resisting because he knew he had a warrant. Same way with the guy in Georgia, they knew they was going to jail so they fought.

@Crimsonorblue22 why are they telling him to drop the knife?? Why does it look like he is holding a knife?? Why is several news outlets saying he had a knife?? All evidence released points to him having a knife. I haven’t looked into that story so I have no comment. I’ve spoke my opinion on the matter, you don’t have to agree but I’ll leave you with this quote “opinions don’t change facts but facts change opinions of logical thinking people”. Have a good night.

@Crimsonorblue22 logically what situation is going to improve pulling a weapon on a police officer?? If a guy has already pulled a knife, they probably thought he had a gun or another weapon in his car. I don’t care what color you are it will not end well drawing weapons on police. I completely agree with not shooting the guy 7 times but I believe a white person would’ve been shot in the same instance.

@Crimsonorblue22 wrong in the video with sound he looks to be not only holding a knife while the cops are yelling drop the knife repeatedly long before he gets to his car. I agree the 7 shots from point blank range seems excessive but at some point regardless of skin color we have to hold people on both sides accountable for their actions.

It’s interesting ordeal, I think shooting him 7 times was excessive for sure but not sure what the cops were supposed to do in that situation. The camera angle that’s been released from the other side show him holding what appears to a knife and that they attempted to tase him. He also had warrant for sexually assaulting a 14 year old. I think it’s common sense to not pull a weapon on cops and don’t believe this was an act of racism. BLM has turned into not wanting to follow laws and not have police rather than justice for folks like George Floyd. Same goes for the guy at Wendy’s in Georgia. How could any logically thinking person that isn’t brain washed think that a guy passed out drunk in a drive thru fighting cops and shooting at them with their tasers was shot because of their race. BLM had everyone’s support after Floyd and they pissed it all away. I think the riots death toll is now over 45 people. Y’all rich whites in the cities better because they’ll be coming for you long be they worry about poor folks like me.

@approxinfinity I’ve never been a Republican, probably a touch more to the right than left on most subjects. But both parties have just grown into a bunch of hypocritical fools. They changed back and forth on what they believe. Look up Democrats as recently as Clinton, then go back to Kennedy and FDR. All 3 of those guys would be considered far right if they were running today. The two party system has failed us for much of my life by making us choose between the lesser of evils. If really want change (Obama preached it but little actually changed) vote 3rd party.

They really need to start trading folks and picks. This is arguably the worst draft class in 20 years, get rid of those picks. JoJo is shooting too many 3s because they have no shooters and they put him outta the post which is where he can dominate. They need a Damien Lillard, Bradley Beal or Devin Booker type of player. Trade for one of those guys and sign another shooter. Then they can contend in East for years.

Interesting stuff today as the NFL has said that all 77 positive tests were reran and were determined to be false positive. I could realistically see a few of them being that way but all of them is head scratching. Also they listed a death I think last week or the week before in the county next to me due to Covid. The guy that died wife has gone on social media and claimed he was never test. That he had died from a heart attack and they didn’t do a autopsy. The plot on this thickens daily, interesting times.

The trouble is JoJo had zero help. They got rid of all the shooters without Butler and Reddick. He’s basically the modern day Wilt for that franchise, he’s got to be great for them to have a chance.

I watched a little bit of it and seemed like a circus to me (most political stuff is from either side). My question is did they go over how they tackle the Covid? How are they going help fix race relations in this country? How they are gonna handle the deficit? Just seemed like a complete waste of time from what I seen of it and read about it.

He did most definitely pay hush hush money to a girl that he sexually assaulted.I know a guy that had recently retired from the FBI and did some security work for Bill when he was governor of Arkansas. Let’s just say he was involved in some interesting stuff.

Interesting that they had Bill Clinton speak tonight. Dudes on Epstein’s flight log numerous times. But him settling outta court for sexual assault didn’t stop people from voting for him them.

@Texas-Hawk-10 I agree about the 0-10 part. Coastal Carolina returns just about everyone from last season, Stanley gave them that game. Which was on of the worst he had all year. Hard to see us hanging with anyone but Tech and WV but those both are road games this season.

@benshawks08 generational wealth due to slavery is part of the point. But if you can’t see the issue I have with being a descendant of slaves being asking to pay reparations because of the color my skin by someone whos wealth comes from slavery when my family wasn’t even here during slavery. There is no point in carrying on this conversation any further with all due respect friend. If she’s that big on it, she needs to put her money where her mouth is and open up that check book.

So.... I did a little digging on Harris and it’s not good. Rather interesting to say the least. First off she isn’t African American (which doesn’t matter if she is, but a lot people think she is) her mom is from India and her dad is from Jamaica. She herself has been very outspoken about repatriations for African Americans due to slavery and that my friends is where the bombshell was found. Harris’s great great great grandfather named Hamilton Brown was a white sugar farmer in Jamaica. He owned not one or two plantations but five and was said to own more than 200 slaves at his height of operations. Also he supposedly took land that was to be given to freed slaves. Most of her family’s wealth leads to him. Coming from me of Irish and Scottish descendant who ancestors were more than likely slaves, knowing at least one side of my family wasn’t in this country til the 1890s is flat out sickening. Gosh I’d give my life if Americans could just think.

I’d be shocked if most conferences don’t follow suit. The SEC is about only claiming they don’t real care about anyone else and are rolling.

Another thing to think on is people can get this anywhere. People already are just by going to stores and working. It seems inevitable that most of us will get this thing. If these teams practice and stay in bubbles, it could very well be safer than what they would be doing otherwise.

The major effect I’ve had by a president was my healthcare sky rocketing under Obama.
