@bskeet more than one woman has come forward and accused him of sexual assault. I think it’s closer to a dozen and if you watch him embrace women, he is without question unbelievably handsy to put it nicely. That’s before you get into the videos of him inappropriately touching and sniffing young women. It really shouldn’t matter how many times it has happened. Once is too many times. As I’ve always said to the Democrats May as well say “Vote for our rapist pedophile!! He’s better than the other one”. Think of how stupid that sounds. Since Bill Clinton has been in office the Democrats have not cared about the actions of their nominees but criticize the opposition for the same thing. It’s called hypocrisy my friend and there is a ton of in politics these days.
Edit: I’ve also heard Biden say more racist things than Trump.

@approxinfinity world wide numbers for H1N1 are estimated to be greater than 600k, COVID is at similar number tho hospitals have admitted that they have put Covid for more deaths than it has actually caused. Typical Democrat attitude, “vote for the rapist that I like”. Trump sucks as well as Biden and both are probably going down If Epstein’s associate survives to a trial.

@Marco let’s us remember that nothing was done for the H1N1. People are quick to say Obama would’ve solved this issue but so far it claimed more lives than COVID. People also forget trump has put governors in charge of their own states which includes several democrats doing little or nothing.

The PAC has had a number of players come forward with demands for playing football which includes 50% of the revenue generated by their games. I think we are in the beginning of the end of college athletics. I don’t think they realize that football helps fund several other sports where there is a loss for the universities. The sad part for me is that thousands of kids that can only go to college with a scholarship will no longer be able to. I think these guys for get that an education is worth something and most of them won’t be going pro. Definitely interesting, I would be fine with a small sum of around $1000 given a month to the athletes because I know some guys that came from the streets and had nothing while playing on scholarship. They did get free room, board, schooling and thousands of dollars in merchandise/apparel. What’s everyone’s take on this?

Wonder if the conference will let us play SIU on the 29th. I think it would be safer because it gives us 2 weeks before the conference would start. Meaning if we had a positive test, we could still be ready

I honestly don’t know the right answer at this point. I highly doubt we are able to afford to shut down again at this point. I know I’ll be jobless if it happens again along with millions of others in this country. More people will starve and freeze to death in this country than the virus kills worldwide if you do it the winter months. You can’t say go with Thousands of people hand in hand down the street supposedly not spreading the virus while saying groups of over 10 is spreading it. Big business already runs this country last shut down they gainEd hundreds of millions of dollars. Not a path I choose to go down. I’m fine because I wash my hands and don’t go places I don’t need too. If people would just use a hint of common sense we’d all be fine. But that eliminates 99% of the population in this country today.

Seen where both Cardinals and Marlins have players with COVID. Interesting why the MLB didn’t go with a double like the NBA. It’s also worrisome for how both CFB and the NFL will fair. If they can keep everyone in a bubble without actually having a double they may stand a chance. I’ve heard several of the MLB guys aren’t taking it seriously.

I’ve obviously become mad again about March madness being cancelled when the case numbers have sky rocketed since March. School is in the same boat with me, canceled for a few cases in my county. But now with hundreds they say let’s go back to school. Makes no sense logically.

Bout the only thing to look forward to at this point. I don’t have any expectations for this season, it would be nice to win at least 4 games for the first time in a decade but losing so much upfront and a big question mark at QB will make that tough. I love Miles going all out on highschool talent so that our numbers will get better in a few years instead of Beaty following exactly what Weis did with Jucos. I think no spring ball with the production we lost will hurt us compared to teams that are returning a good share of players.

My biggest question is what will happen if one the players test positive? Will they shut down the whole program for 2 weeks? It’s also disappointing that we didn’t have March Madness but the cases numbers are way up from March.

Gotta agree with @BShark and @Texas-Hawk-10 here. He doesn’t have the build to play big boy ball yet and is a likely candidate for a redshirt.

@approxinfinity you proved my point lol, never said anything about him being successful. You could debate on his success for sure but the fact of the matter is his dad gave him 1 million dollars, he turned that into much more. Probably by being a complete crook but still did it.

@FarmerJayhawk Agree a million percent. Liberals claim to be tolerant but a very small number actually are. I have a co-worker that pulled his kids from KU (graduate of KU himself) because of the constant push toward socialism/democratic views in non political studies. I’d argue that about every soul on this page that even showed slight conservative views is attacked. Heck recently someone was attacked for merely saying Trump was a businessman. Sociology 1-0-1 says the main thing you accuse others of, is what you are guilty of yourself. If your significant other is constantly accusing you of cheating with no evidence or means, their probably wanting to justify their own actions. Democrats screaming racism and Nazi at every opposition, while supporting socialism, taking away 1st and 2nd amendments rights. Me reading a books on history thinking hmm... that’s exactly what the Nazis did. Now conservatives definitely at their own issues with big businesses and oil greed as well wanting too many weapons.

Has anyone seen the tweets by DeSean Jackson? Or Nick Cannon? Which was shared and supported by D wade. This is one of the major issues imo. If we don’t have accountability on both sides we will get nowhere. LeBron James was fine with the people of China being oppressed, he makes millions off of them. I’ve always been in support of freedoms in this country like Kaepernicks protests but forgive me if I don’t take you seriously while you’re wearing a Castro t-shirt.

@FarmerJayhawk haha maybe @benshawks08 triggered me a bit. My point is we are getting nowhere assuming all whites have money or are rednecks. The same way it’s not getting us anywhere if you assume minorities are lazy and criminals. My family came from Ireland with nothing in the late 1880s.

@benshawks08 I just don’t like racism of any kind. it’s racist to assume because of the color my skin I haven't had to work to get what little I have- signed a food stamp, no hot water, sometimes no water, no phone, no a/c, goodwill shopping if it wasn’t hand me down guy that spent plenty of his youth in the inner cities that’s white.

@benshawks08 inheritance is a completely different subject. I went to a 2A school that had a small number of minorities. The richest kid there was a African American that drove a brand new Range Rover to school. I inherited nothing from my dad and will be struck with my moms funeral costs.

I think this is a good call at this point, see where we are at in a month and address it then. Obviously it would be insane to think young kids are going to social distance and wear masks all day.

The wage gap is an interesting stat but a lot of people like to skip over the fact that Asian American males have the highest pay rates of anyone in the country. They are 21% higher than white males. Which tells me race has less to do with it, I highly doubt people that hate African Americans like Asians. But Asians also go to college at a higher rate that any other ethnicity in this country. I work for a small business with 15 employees, 2 of which are African Americans. They make the same amount as the other guys who do the same job. I’m sure there are some racist fools that don’t pay minorities as well and there should be a penalty for doing so. We have to keep African American kids in school and make school affordable again. This is the main reason I cringe when people talk about the government getting involved. What have they touched that hasn’t turned to crap? College is high dollar because of the government. Remember when the government started subsidizing housing? The cost of housing sky rocketed. I believe in eduction and healthcare for all, I just believe the government is the worse place to get it.

@approxinfinity I know Democrats refusing to wear masks. Is Biden evil if touching and more than likely sexually assaulting women? Is the Clinton foundation evil for stealing donations or selling uranium to Russia? What about wanting to do away with constitutional rights? Both sides are equally evil, not to mention Trump has Zero control as to when we go back to school. It’s rednecks vs Nazis at this point. I could write a book on the evils of the Democrat party just in my lifetime.

It will be interesting to see if Epstein’s associate will make it to trial, she’s gonna bring down both sides if so. This wayfair thing is really interesting and it involves a fair share of elites from both sides. I don’t get how anyone at this point could think ether Biden or Trump are decent human beings.

I’m kinda confused by this whole thing, especially the whole black beans thing. So the owner said positive things about trump? So now people are boycotting it? Doesn’t sound progressive to me. I could care less what companies I buy from feel politically if I’m buying a good product at a good price 🤷🏻‍♂️ This whole everyone must think like me movement in this country by both sides is crap IMO. I honestly think the Democrats would win if they had anyone decent to run against Trump. Instead they have the making out with his granddaughter and hair sniffing Biden before you get into his obvious mental issues. Trump runs his twitter account like a teenager that couldn’t win a 2nd grade spelling Bee. 4 more years of stupidity seems inevitable at this point.

@benshawks08 I’m not sure what to think as a parent. My son needs the structure badly with his autism and we all continue to work. It would be impossible for his daycare to have dozens of computers and try to online stuff much. He hates doing it to boot. I keep hearing about having every other day between grades. I’m lucky because our district may have 500 kids in it from pre-K to 12th grade total. Not sure what the right answer is but it has negatively effected him and he is losing progress because of this. The first 6-8 years are huge for autism kids and what he is losing at this point, he may never recover from. Small children won’t wear mask or social distance, you’d have better luck training a monkey to mow your yard. That being said it needs to be safe. It is a lose lose for us at this point.

@Texas-Hawk-10 I’m sure they are the B10 is looking at only playing conference games. I’d say it’s only a matter of time before everything is cancelled at this point.

@approxinfinity right I’m just wondering if they are treating it differently or something because so many people are recovering lightening fast right now.

Interesting things I’ve been seeing on the Covid makes me wonder if they are figuring out how to treat it. Mcpherson which is the county over from where I live has seen huge jumps but not any hospitalization and people are recovering considerably faster. NASCAR driver Jimmie Johnson rested positive but was cleared 3 days later with 2 negative tests. I’m not sure if they are prescribing something or what but people are getting over it faster so that’s a good sign.

If he can stay healthy his net worth could mirror MJs. Once this contract is started, I read he will make over $10 a minute during it. With his adidas contract, his commercials for State Farm, Amazon, Head & Shoulders and Hunts that aren’t included in that contract it will be an insane amount of money he piles up. Honestly it makes me not want to watch, I don’t think people should make that kind of money lol.
