Any Regrets Nebr., Missou & TxAM? • Jul 06, 2020 10:10 PM

I don’t think Colorado, Nebraska or Missouri are in better shape. You could say Colorado is push but PAC 12 is usually considered the worst power 5 league across major sports. A&M I think has done well and after hiring Jimbo they have a chance to get better in football. I personally miss you the old conference, I thought the schedule was much better for football interms of rebuilding with 4 non conference games when you look at KSU, Tech and Baylor’s rise. I also feel like the basketball schedule didn’t beat each other to death. A mistake was made imo not adding Louisville and Cincinnati when we had the chance.

@wissox not sure your point bud. I was elaborating toward the Dook bias my friend, I did mention KU in my response. I’ll touch base on the KU on ESPN. Yes they are on the espn family of networks often but last season with the espn plus deal, it seemed like we were on it often. Even when we were playing a ranked opponent where as Dook played most of its games on the main espn channel (regardless of opponent) giving them more exposure. If I’m not mistaken Dook played a bottom feeder in prime time while KU played a top 15 WV team on plus this season for an example. Yes plenty of people are buying the plus but the more we play there the less TVs on it nationally IMO. I only buy it basketball during season and have stopped watching espn when KU isn’t play in there because of this. I used to drive my wife nuts watch sportcenter every morning. I’m not sure how they are doing right now but they’ve laid off a fair amount of employees the last few years because I believe people are tired of the LeBron and ACC/SEC stuff like nothing else ever happens in sports.

@wissox we need a laughing emoji for this site after that comment. ESPN seldom runs anything negative about Dook or ACC/SEC teams. They hardly mentioned Suilamon’s (spelled wrong) rape. When KU finally returned to the FF in 2018 after missing the last few chances. Coach K was on the front page of the CBB men’s page with the number 1 recruiting class like the tournament didn’t exist after they got beat. The Dook media bias is without question there, I know 2 Dook fans and they even admit it.

Happy Fourth! • Jul 05, 2020 02:08 AM

@BShark Kaepernick says it’s a white supremacy holiday. Apparently he’s not smart enough to realize running his mouth the way he does in all the commie countries he supports would kill him for going against them.

Happy Fourth! • Jul 04, 2020 06:29 PM

Happy 4th everyone and remember this maybe the last time you see a friend or family member with all 10 fingers.

Tom Keegan laid off from Boston Herald • Jul 04, 2020 02:10 AM

@approxinfinity unfortunate for him, never have been a fan of his. He wrote the same articles all the time IMO. Don’t how many were title Kansas Quarterback frees his mind. Hopefully he finds something.

@Marco me 2 my friend

@approxinfinity of course they are smh, even tho anyone alive at this point knows he got paid. The media bias.....

@rockchalkwyo not articles but books, I have several on Phogg and the program in general. The jayhawkers movie is accurate I’m told.

Thought I’d feel everyone out here but the time is now to have a statue of Maurice King. For those unaware of King, he was one of the first African American players at Kansas and the first to start a game. The next is Wilt Chamberlain also one of the early African Americans on the team. I’ve read books and heard stores from locals of Phog Allen basically telling local businesses if they didn’t let people of all races in, he would settle it with his fists. I’d like to see them two guys together forever as they played together. We have a history of being on the right side of racism, let’s be proactive.

Democrats lie too, me slaps knee I just can’t believe it!! Y’all want change vote both parties out friends

KSU Student is Racist • Jun 29, 2020 03:09 AM

@Kcmatt7 well I find someone else to vote for I suppose.

KSU Student is Racist • Jun 29, 2020 02:59 AM

@mayjay how is that? I believe democrats to be worst but still hate both. Let’s not forget a few short years ago Democrats thought that only police should have guns, now there either defunding or getting rid of it all together. I’ve never seen a group more hypercritical than the dems which says a lot because the republicans are plenty themselves. Just my opinion, the police brutality was still happening in Obama’s 8 years.

KSU Student is Racist • Jun 29, 2020 02:55 AM

It could have been fake for sure, looks like it’s been taken down ether way voting for Trump or Biden seems wrong

KSU Student is Racist • Jun 29, 2020 01:21 AM

I’m voting Amash, new video is going around twitter with Biden saying the N word. Let’s move on from the 2 party system that has crippled America!!

KSU Student is Racist • Jun 28, 2020 05:35 AM

It will be interesting with KSUCK football this fall, all the back woods hillbillies that fill that crap hole on Saturday may not like the players standing up to this.

Differentiating fact from opinion on COVID-19 • Jun 26, 2020 11:16 PM

@mayjay right I am a 100% in agreement it can spread easier indoors, that seems like common sense. You bring up Florida, a ton people have gotten it there on beaches since they reopened. It’s just asinine to think that hundreds maybe even thousands walking some hand and hand doesn’t spread it. I’m moving on from this conversation my friends.

KSU Student is Racist • Jun 26, 2020 08:24 PM

Does this surprise anyone?

Differentiating fact from opinion on COVID-19 • Jun 26, 2020 08:23 PM

@mayjay people that lack logic and common sense which on a normal day isn’t @justanotherfan. Him and I usually agree. The idea that one group of people spreads it but another doesn’t even if they are outside isn’t logical in the slightest to me.

Differentiating fact from opinion on COVID-19 • Jun 26, 2020 05:53 PM

@justanotherfan right I’m not saying that the trump rally didn’t increase cases but if you’re telling me folks not following the social distance guidelines and standing side by side in groups, several of which were not wearing mask didn’t increase cases. I’m not dignifying it with a response.

Differentiating fact from opinion on COVID-19 • Jun 26, 2020 12:48 PM

@mayjay very true but y’all are the same taking one doctors video or post on Twitter to the bank tho others in the profession are saying it’s not true. I’m not doctor but I don’t trust people and I’m not saying I’m a 100% right about it being less deadly. I know facts are hard to come by buddy.

Frank • Jun 26, 2020 04:01 AM

I really think he could be a solid back up PG, he just needs to be in the right place. Being drafted by a crap organization can be deadly for ones career.

Differentiating fact from opinion on COVID-19 • Jun 26, 2020 03:55 AM

@approxinfinity right no where I have stated that people aren’t dying. No where have I stated we should do nothing. The reading comprehension on the site is very low. I simply stated I don’t trust the numbers, that is all sir. You’re a grown man my friend, you are free to believe whatever you choose. Have a good evening

Differentiating fact from opinion on COVID-19 • Jun 26, 2020 03:25 AM

@approxinfinity not at all, just don’t believe its as deadly. I trust no numbers that I didn’t calculate, sorry the world has lead me down this path with false information repeatedly.

Differentiating fact from opinion on COVID-19 • Jun 26, 2020 02:03 AM

@approxinfinity until you read the hospitals have been falsifying cases. I’m not saying it isn’t deadly I can share twitter posts as well of licensed nurses saying it’s all bs. I trust no one and nothing.

Differentiating fact from opinion on COVID-19 • Jun 26, 2020 01:38 AM

@FarmerJayhawk no it’s the social media age anything you find on Facebook or Twitter has to be 100% true.....

Differentiating fact from opinion on COVID-19 • Jun 26, 2020 12:09 AM

@approxinfinity the cdc and Fauci have been wrong in this several times, hospitals have admitted to inflating numbers to make more money šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø. I refuse to believe 90% of the info on the stuff because it contradicts itself every 2 weeks.

Differentiating fact from opinion on COVID-19 • Jun 25, 2020 11:19 PM

@approxinfinity a 100 different sources say 100 different another problem in theses times.

Differentiating fact from opinion on COVID-19 • Jun 25, 2020 10:52 PM

I would agree about not being able to shut back down. CNN ran a story about how the riots and protests didn’t lead to a rise in cases but ran an article about how a few thousand at a Trump rally caused a huge spike. The media thinks everyone is a potato at this point. Also if we are shutdown this winter millions will die because of the shut down not virus. The morality rate is less than 1% in this country still considerably less than the flu, pneumonia and other illnesses. Be smart and wash your hands. I’ll see if I can find the article about the hundreds of millions of dollars big businesses like amazon, Walmart, Menards etc made during shut down. Will never understand how standing apart in Walmart is different than any other store or local business. I’m just being as safe as I can, I have left my county once since early February and limited unneeded trips anywhere.

@Crimsonorblue22 that wouldn’t surprise me with him, had always been a tool.

Mike Gundy and OSU • Jun 17, 2020 02:22 PM

@Crimsonorblue22 @mayjay is it fake? It’s on ESPN. @Texas-Hawk-10 I agree with your assessment.

Interesting stuff going on in Stillwater. The five demands listed by Gottlieb from the players are 1. Earrings 2. Durags/wind cap 3. Ability to sag pants 4. Hair styles 5. Music that contains curse words and derogatory language towards women.

Seems kinda petty to me, what’s the take on this friends?

@mayjay that is my problem with the media, they push whatever they can regardless if it’s half the story or even true. The media continues to attempt to divide us.

@mayjay right, it was just some info on it and I wasn’t meaning it was canceled but rather people are supposedly calling for it to be.

@mayjay could be untrue here is one article from New York Times https://www.nytimes.com/2020/06/10/arts/television/protests-fictional-cops.html ↗

@justanotherfan you bring some fair points about a mental health team and I think that’s a good idea but their is plenty of police brutality that doesn’t involve folks with mental issues. It’s like the guy Home Depot not knowing crap about home improvement because he makes $8 an hour and has no training. Leading police down that same path will only make matters worse. Acting as if all police officers are bad is the same as someone saying all white people are rednecks and all African Americans all gangsters. We cant judge people by race, religion, occupation and sex. All kinds of people are evil my friend. In term of the cops and live pd, of coarse it’s edited. But I still have no idea how it helps the cause in this case. I think helps show people some of the issue police face in the field.

I’m a little confused how canceling shows like cops and live PD are helping this cause. I don’t watch much tv but I enjoy those shows. If we continue to treat all cops as if they are bad and continue to cut funding, it will only make matters worse. Less training hours and low pay won’t fix anything. I read they are considering canceling Paw Patrol for having good cops, yes teaching all children cops are evil will pay dividends smh. There is little common sense or logic these days.....

Zion/Duke • Jun 10, 2020 09:29 PM

Of course it works out where Dook won’t get any punishment

How do you justify voting for this guy? • Jun 10, 2020 05:34 PM

@FarmerJayhawk they are just as far off as ever towards that goal here Kansas.

How do you justify voting for this guy? • Jun 10, 2020 03:58 AM

@Crimsonorblue22 you’re article? Yes, unfortunately I am unable to release information otherwise I could give a several examples of Kelly’s failure and push to make numbers seem better regardless of situation. I have nothing positive to say about BB no question but Kelly is worse IMO.

How do you justify voting for this guy? • Jun 10, 2020 03:21 AM

@Crimsonorblue22 the state budget is definitely a mess and with BB none of that is shocking. we have had problems getting paid before. Their isn’t much money involved to us. St Francis pays most their employees little while the higher ups make bank for doing nothing. Children’s lives out weigh money to contractors except in Kelly’s eyes apparently.

How do you justify voting for this guy? • Jun 10, 2020 03:13 AM

@Crimsonorblue22 no idea BB did, he seemed to overlook the foster system and not care.

@wissox haha Breaking News!!

How do you justify voting for this guy? • Jun 10, 2020 02:28 AM

@Crimsonorblue22 didn’t like Brownback but Kelly is destroying the foster system ten times as much as Brownback. The number of foster parents is dropping rapidly and it’s a numbers game to her, not about the kids in the slightest. -a foster parent for the last 8 years
