@BeddieKU23 that’s what I was gonna post lol. It’s really a silly argument, the four guard line up for Self has worked much better the past 5 years and it really isn’t a debate. In regards to Dave, he is a good player and should see double digit minutes every game but that doesn’t mean should always be on the floor. I think to this team turning a corner right now is Ochai, Braun and Moss being more aggressive. We know what are going to get outta most of the guys.
Not sure if anyone watched the Aaron Hernandez documentary on Netflix. But part of his issues stemmed him getting away with stuff at Florida. Crazy to think that such a religious guy in Tebow kept those guys in it to win a title. That team had drug dealers, women beaters and a murderer on it, that’s just the stuff we know about. @Texas-Hawk-10 Agreed about Gill not getting fair chance and the last 2 seasons. I will add that Kale Pick did see playing time in 2009 and wasn’t given a fair shot in 2010. The offense only had 3 points in that half against NDSU but had a pick in the endzone, a missed FG and several dropped passes. Webb came in and didn’t do any better but was just given the starting job. Gill should’ve let Pick run the ball more and had some option style plays.
I think KU is currently ahead of Arkansas and it’s not that close. Arkansas is on a 9 game losing streak, only won 4 games the last two seasons, they have been blowout at home to teams like Coastal Carolina and if they don’t win their first conference game next season it will have 3 years since their last SEC win. Kansas was 5 plays away from a bowl last season and competed better week in, week out the past 2 seasons. We are moving forward, they flat out have not in 5 years. Now maybe their new staff gets it going in a hurry and some of can be chalked up to playing in a tough conference. But I’d like my chances much better to get a bowl at Kansas this fall if I was him.
Still no announcement on Franks, I say he has a much better shot getting to a Bowl at KU if I was being honest. The other side of the coin is that transfer QBs have sucked something awful here. I know it’s been big around the country with 3 straight hesimans but you never know.

If KU would stop turning the ball over on nearly 20% of their possessions. We would look considerably better, instead forcing a post entry swing the ball and take a 3 from time to time. Baylor showed everyone how to beat us if you have the personnel.
