I’m more disappointed with the offense than defense, we all knew we’d give up point. Just thought we had a chance to make it a shootout. The offense just gave KSU the ball in our territory for the 4th time.

Even the announcers are laughing at how much shit our guys are still talking SMH, that probably the most embarrassing part.

We knew it would take time I just expected this to be a good game. It really hasn’t been at all. I feel like the score is much closer than the game is.

@jayballer73 we should feel lucky it isn’t much much worse. If we can get another stop and then a score, we have a chance. Otherwise it gets ugly in a hurry.
I’d be okay with a QB change, Carter is a big part of why we only have 3 points. 2 picks and missed high on a easy first down pick up.

@BShark half of it is missing simple plays, it 7 to 3 if we tackle and we haven’t had a guy on the pinch man. That’s high school level crap. That just can’t happen if we want to compete today.

@dylans I could see that in your position, living out in the sticks like I do. It’s nice to have the option to watch. I personally would be fine if it went back to how it was in the 90s/ early 00s. I didn’t have cable back then still living with my folks but for years what is now the CW was the Jayhawk Network. You could watch the coaches shows Sunday at 11, got 2 football games and 5 or 6 basketball games. Then Fox was the big 12 network station where you could watch several conference games. CBS also used to carry 3 or 4 conference games on Saturday instead of the 1 or 2 they do now. In the NCAA tournament the local teams always played on CBS. I feel like I was able to watch 75% of KU basketball games with bunny ears. Bout the only thing I didn’t get was big Monday and the Maui tournament.
I am ready friends, I wish the game was at 11. Kansas enters today with an edge in the all time series 66-45-5. Kansas is a whopping 62-22-5 against KSU when Bill Snyder isn’t on the sideline. Crazy to think that he was a part of a rivalry that spans over a 100 years yet has over half of schools wins in it in 27 years. We must start fast today and not spot them 2 or 3 scores. KSUs Defense is ranked in the top 5 in FBS on 3rd down percentage. A trend that must end today for us to be successful. The big question to me is which KSU offense shows up? Before last weeks explosion against OU, state averaged just 16 ppg in conference play. We must be able to stop the run and force Thompson to throw the football. The offensive line needs to have their best game of the season against a stout defensive line. The stadium should be rocking, let’s go men!
@approxinfinity happy for you. This Nats team reminds me a little of the 2014 and 15 Royals. Just make the simple plays against a team that has spent 2 times as much on players. Definitely one of the oddest WS in memory. Has the road team won every game before?
I didn’t watch but what a great game by the Ballards bunch! He has a good team this season and could make a deep run. I’d be shocked if KSU makes the tournament this season. Diarra and Sneed are really their only good players.
Schneider has had some key injuries that hurt the team the last few season but it’s hard to believe he will have a job next fall. I think long has been busy with the hiring of Miles and a new softball coach so he got a pass last season. I really hope they can find someone to at least compete. Even Hendrickson had her good years.
I am exhausted after a long night of trick or treating but was able to watch some on phone. Doesn’t look like I miss much, feel like we just played around in the second half and could’ve beat this team about 120 to 30 if we wanted. Be a big week here heading into the sunflower showdown Saturday and Dook on Tuesday. I’m ready, let’s go Hawks.

Prox could apply for a medical red shirt and my guess would be he could get one at this point. I was told he hasn’t been able to practice at all. @FarmerJayhawk I think that’s a touch high on the scholarship number but Ik Beaty gave several walk ons scholarships. We should starting gaining a few guys every year starting with this recruiting class. As @justanotherfan said it will take at a minimum two more classes on top this one to get back to the 85. I hope the rule Jeff Long and several others are lobbing for happens. He wants a rule to where you can sign as many as 35 in a single class as long as you don’t go over 50 in a 2 year period. I think that rule would not only help us but make it to where most schools can stay at 85. To me that makes for better football.
@justanotherfan No question, he probably ends up with over 1,000 again this season. I could average 4.0 yards a carry behind Bamas line lol.
