It was bound to happen at some point. We weren't going to win the conference every year til the end of time. This was the perfect year with guys injured, guys in trouble with the NCAA and several guys that just don't want to put any effort in.

Its amazing how bad Ochai and Q were. In a 57 combined minutes they shot 2/9 had 5 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists. Ochai was probably due for a bad game but man will Q ever figure it out. Self needs to sit him IMO, he flat out doesn't give us the best chance to win. He and Charlie should take seat for the rest of the year. Not sure why Dave didnt get more minutes, his numbers were the best per minutes played. What tough game to witness, the guys on post game didnt really seem to care much, just said Tech couldn't miss and laughed it off.

@wissox your list is a little long IMO. Towns and Davis are great players, the rest are average NBA players IMO.
@tundrahok if we lost because they were on fire, I'd be fine with that. But we didnt, we showed zero energy, effort or heart for much of the game. If this team has any care or heart at all, they will prove it Monday by kicking KSUs ass. Which I'm not betting on.

Ya tech is a top 15 team, TCU wasn't a top 100 team. Similar in terms of effort and energy.
Ksu probably is guaranteed at least a share at this point. I dont care really, just win Monday and hopefully by an act of God we can make a run in March.

Baylor turned it on for a few minutes looks like they are going to get the W. Really not surprising, OSU stinks and shouldn't give anyone much trouble outside of Stillwater. I think KSU killed them there aswell. We need to win out been saying since the loss in Manhattan have to win out at this point, no question.
Texas with a bad loss to OU, TCU pulls it off and very tight late in Waco. B12 is a very competitive conference and probably the best to watch.
@wissox I think you could build a solid pro team with our guys. Embiid is pretty much becoming our super star to replace Paul. If you think of the biggest stars right now they ain't from Dook or UK, Harden from ASU, Bron was not in college, Curry was Davidson and Durant is pretty much Texas's only star in my life time.

Paul George is a similar size to Zion but these players pretty much get there choice of whatever shoe they want, maybe he felt that was the most comfortable. People are already reviewing all the different types of shoes he has worn so far this season. Remember tho these guys don't get nothing, I knew a kid that went D1 in baseball and claimmed everything you ever could need was free apparel wise. Hats, shirts, hoodies, back packs, shoes, coats, shorts, cups, etc. Thats prob why Ohio state guys sold and traded their stuff for tattoos and money.
Self said he wouldn't be at a 100% so he may come off the bench and play for limited minutes. Self sounded like he may not be back to full strength before the end of the season.

@mayjay Haha yes, all the crap she gave KU fans and then it turned out she got paid. That's one of the more interesting deals from the text messages from her to Billy about not talking to KU about what they got, that looks good for Self and Co.
@Kcmatt7 Well I guess maybe that was overboard with me not really watching them. It's just odd that every time he gets bumped. he's hurt and can't play but is back the next game like he is fine from what I have seen. I guess he could be protecting the goods, so does he do that in the NCAA tournament? Josh Jackson played hard here and I have no complaints about him.
