Harden highlights how awesome Wilt was • Jan 25, 2019 02:55 AM

@Kcmatt7 LMAO!!!! Anyone thats puts Shaq in the same conversation as Wilt should be slapped, Wilt was an insane athlete, Shaq was lazy and useless more than 5 feet from the rim. Shaq is Doke(beside lazy) and Embiid is Wilt. Wilt had a very similar build to Joel and Joel is one the best players in the league today. Watching videos, I'd say Wilt is considerably better defensively. Size doesn't mean a ton to mean especially in todays game where you get a foul call for looking at someone. Jordan, Wilt and Kareem all would've averaged 5 or 6 more PPG if they played today based off of weak foul calls alone. Who are the best players in the league right now? KD- Skinny and no girth, Curry- tiny and no muscle mass, Lenard- skinny as can be but quick. Girth means nothing in todays game, even LeBron has slimmed up so he's quicker. You should watch Videos of Wilt man, he's beating guards down the floor, while Shaq walked most of the time. I gotta say the Shaq comparison maybe the stupidest comment I've ever seen on here. @Texas-Hawk-10 tried to out do you tho.

Wilt is the GOAT and I'll argue with anyone on the matter

Kentucky Wildcats - Saturday - 5pm - ESPN • Jan 24, 2019 03:19 PM

I like playing this game this time of year, I know some people don't but I think it's a good reset to the conference season. The boys can just go have fun, the game has little meaning. Dedric is going to have to get some guys in foul trouble for us to have a good chance of winning. ESPNs BPI gives UK nearly a 70% chance of winning which really isn't surprising looking at our road struggle this season and UK being prob the best road team we have faced thus far. I feel like we are going to have to mud up the game a bit and keep them outta transition.

Garrett's Shot • Jan 24, 2019 03:03 PM

I'm not sure Garrett will ever be a great shooter and it's not gonna change mid season. I think he needs to completely overhaul his shot, it is on rope straight to the rim. He needs more arch and to change up his release point. With that being said I'm very pleased with Garrett this season, he's played great defense and is starting to finish at the rim. We have had several good guards that weren't good shooters, guys like RussRob and Miles didn't shoot it well til he was a senior from 3 point land. I personally think Garrett is a NBA player regardless of his shots, he could be a Rondo type guy in the NBA.

Texh now has lost 3 in a row. Gosh I'd be pretty happy if we wouldn't have crapped our pants in Morgantown.

New OC - -Again • Jan 23, 2019 06:06 AM

@Texas-Hawk-10 what type of offense does he run?

I could see us going 2-2, I dont think we go 1-3, we have played like it alot lately but I have more faith in our coaches/players than that.

New OC - -Again • Jan 23, 2019 02:46 AM

I dont think it's near as big of a hire as Lindsay was but lets see how he does. @Texas-Hawk-10 that's cool, sometimes we forget how small the world is.

Other Games Tonight • Jan 23, 2019 02:45 AM

As much as it pains me to say it KSU is playing the best basketball in the conference right now and I dont even think it's a debate. Good thing we still have time to improve.

Baylor has to be the surprise team this far, they didnt look good at all in the non conference. Obviously WV is the big let down, which still makes me mad about Saturday lol.

@DanR Agreed KJ is Jamari Traylor to me he can turn the game hustling but is only effective in short spurs. I thought Self did a much better managing his time tonight.

I'm sure what's up with Grimes, you could make a strong case for Ochai to start over him. I'm not gonna sit here and beat him up but man we could be so much better if he plays well.

Really pleased with the second half, defense was much better. To me it all started with hustling, I dont believe we got beat down the floor at all and we got some transition buckets. Crazy that a team that shot 30 3s and fouled us on purpose shot 4 more free ones than us, Owell survive and improve.

Dedric Lawson is outta his gourd, Dedric for President 2020

Garrett is now 0-4 from line

Wow just wow at that last foul call they owe us at least 4 calls

Now I'd stop switching for a possession to see if it keeps guys from getting open 3s. Gotta go over the screen fellas.

Garrett as great as he has played is killing us at the line.

I honestly think if they called both ways, ISU would have 15 fouls.

@approxinfinity you!!!

Two super weak calls on KJ. I love the kids energy I just dont think hes a guy you want for 17 minutes.

Weak sauce

See what happens when you hustle down the Floor?

Finally bastards

Garrett gets bumped 5 times no foul?

Moving screens are like holding in football, you can call them every play. Better D up, Grimes is in the dog house apparantly.

Bill here's a simple adjustment for you, everybody switches except Dedric. Half of there perimeter looks are on Dedric, wake up Bill!!!

@BShark Garrett at least makes up for it with drives and defense. Charlie Moore is Omar Wilkes 2.0

We've had several good open looks we just can't shoot.

I've been more frustrated with Self this season than any other with KJ playing huge minutes last game and tonight, the team that killed us from 3 2 weeks ago were gonna let them shoot it. Its just not logical, I dont get it.

How basketball works is it's a big advantage to sprint down the floor, really on both ends to gain a numeric advantage. I see one team hustling and they ain't wearing white.

And again we get lazy at the half. This team flat out the laziest no pride group of sorry individuals to wear a jayhawk Jersey.

Their ball movement is lightyears better than ours and we'd rather give open 3s than 2s because Self is losing his mind this year.

I picked ISU by 12 looking pretty accurate

Gotta guard the perimeter

We look a little sped up again.

If it wasn't 2 and a half hours away. I couldnt make it on time.

Has Andy Reid Lost This Team? • Jan 21, 2019 03:20 PM

@Kcmatt7 It wasn't a catch, the replay guy was like "Ball hits the ground and moves, but idk if its enough to overturn". I was laughing, if you and I can see it so can the refs, I honestly have no idea what the hell a catch is in the nfl anymore. Especially after there was no way to tell if Edelman touched the punt but they looked at it for 10 minutes, thats not conclusive and replay needs a time limit before the play just stands. Every time Brady and co needs a call in a tight game they get it, even dating back to the tuck rule. Which was pretty much we made the wrong call and knew it so we will make a new rule to justify it. Then you have the laughable blow to the head call, Brady gets multiple bogus roughing calls every year. The Chiefs had their chances still and to me it even looked like a false start happened on the game winning TD run. The Saints got hosed aswell and right now there are a ton of people in the same boat as me thinking its rigged. I could see the super bowl losing some viewership after that. People point out that they missed a face mask in the Rams game but to me thats easy to missed compared to a guy getting smoked 2 seconds before the ball is there with the ref 5 yards away looking right at it. People also complain about Gronk being held and I agree he was but Hill was held multiple times too. The ref let the DBs play pretty rough on both sides all game but they also let both teams get a few push offs aswell. That's consistent and I'm fine with.

@Crimsonorblue22 LMAO, thank you

AFC Championship Game • Jan 21, 2019 05:24 AM

I agree with Reids decision to just kick it because they didnt have a timeout. even if you are stopped at 1, you'd be lucky to spike it. The defense couldnt stop Gronkowski on the outside all night, the Patriots knew it and went to it several times when it mattered. The question I have is how long before Sutton is fired? The chiefs have a chance to be the best team in the afc for years to come if the right off season moves are made.

BR Story on Q • Jan 21, 2019 05:11 AM

I think people have been a little to hard on the kid, myself included at times.

Has Andy Reid Lost This Team? • Jan 21, 2019 05:09 AM

@approxinfinity its debatable for sure but it would be pretty tough with zero turnovers and 31 points to put it on the offense. The 2 big plays that standout to me are Mahomes missed wide open TD and Fords offsides.

Has Andy Reid Lost This Team? • Jan 21, 2019 04:30 AM

Lmao he never found the defense to start with.

AFC Championship Game • Jan 21, 2019 03:37 AM

Also me not being a big NFL guy but watching KC alot this year, probably more than the last 10 because they are exciting. The NFL has to change overtime in the playoffs to same as college. The team that gets the ball wins like 75% of time.

AFC Championship Game • Jan 21, 2019 03:33 AM

I'm sticking by my its rigged comments. The refs gave KC a make up call but 2 or 3 laughable calls was the only reason it went to OT. Now the chiefs still screwed themselves in the first half offensively. But I still think the refs would've just done more than.

AFC Championship Game • Jan 21, 2019 02:26 AM

After watching the games today, I think it obvious the thing is rigged. Hogans catch clearly hits the ground and jars the ball forward 3 inches, that's not controlling the ball.

AFC Championship Game • Jan 21, 2019 01:40 AM

I think if the Pat's score anything but a fg it's over but if the chiefs can keep them out of the endzone they got a shot.

AFC Championship Game • Jan 21, 2019 01:23 AM

Bad stretch there starting with the punt return, could be very costly.

AFC Championship Game • Jan 21, 2019 01:01 AM

Mahomes is hanging on to the ball way too long. All things considered the chiefs should be down by more. I wouldnt be worried just yet with the ball coming to them after the half.

Latest NBA Mock Draft • Jan 20, 2019 02:50 AM

The Lawson boys dad can't complain about KJs minutes today, tho he was a big factor in the loss. He played as much as Ochai, Lightfoot and David combined.
