@Crimsonorblue22 I think the text and pictures of the huddle thing is laughable. The TV crew several times have coaches mic’d and show inside the huddle. What good would it do even if true? So a guy behind KSU bench takes pictures and text what is being said. Then he sends it to another ISU staffer on their side and relays it to TJ. Lol
Reminds me of EJ dropping 39 points in a victory including a dunk at the end of the game that sent the place into a frenzy. It was later released that ISU had not only thrown stuff at the KU bench repeatedly but a fan had spit in EJs face.
@drgnslayr Mike Gundy had a rant a couple years back saying that kids nowadays don’t know the basics because they are playing video games and not outside. I tend to agree with him, when I was a kid we were always at the park playing football or basketball. I can’t tell you the last time I seen a kid at the park. I get it’s hard this time of year but I don’t see kids outside much these days.

My problem with them hitting the normal January hull right now is the schedule. We have not hit the meat of our schedule yet and have 1 just 1 win vs the top 65% of the conference. 10 of our last 12 games are either against ranked teams and/or on the road. If we went thru a few game slide in that it wouldn’t shock me at all. I’m just hoping it’s only a few games honestly. Idk I think this team has already not only lost this conference but lost a 1 seed with the losses already suffered. I hope to be wrong but they need to prove a lot of stuff here in the next 6 weeks.
@benshawks08 for sure, not a positive outlook right now. Furphy is gonna need someone else to get after the ball like he has been. I love to be a fly on the wall in the film room today hopefully some guys get called out for their lack of effort and energy. The old saying goes “Hard work beats talent, when talent doesn’t work hard”. This team doesn’t have the talent to go out and just go thru the motions. I think that’s pretty evident at this point in time.
I wouldnt say I’ve ever followed the NBA close but was a big AI fan in the early 00s in highschool so 76ers are kinda my team with nothing in our area and OKC not being there back in my day.

@wissox I have agree with @cragarhawk assessment we don’t look good even in victory. On to Saturday can we pick up a road win against a team that has a conference win? I honestly don’t care about conference titles anymore. Just go undefeated at home and sweep the Mildcats.

I have to agree with Jwill and said similar things last season. We just don’t have the athleticism as normal Kansas teams. Any guard in the big 12 can get to paint with ease, even switching we can’t keep guys in front of us.

@dylans Jackson only has the Super Bowl left to conquer but he has really developed his passing game. Made teams that passed on him in not only the draft but the offseason a few years ago look like fools.
@dylans I just wish they’d stop acting like it’s Brady vs Manning 2.0. Allen has to win something for that to be true. Mahomes vs Jackson is more like Brady vs Manning from the stand point it’s the conference title and Jackson has an MVP.
I honestly think the bills were pretty fortunate to have a chance to tie it near the end. They had 2 fumbles of their own and 1 chiefs fumble bounce their way. They had a likely pick 6 dropped and a turnover on downs inside the chiefs 35. It’s usually a game of inches and it was tonight. The chiefs were just a few of those inches from blowing it wide open and winning by 17.
Hardman was just trying too hard on that play. I still think he can be a good player moving forward.
