Bean has been announced as a game time decision at the moment. Hope he can go today, I think our chances are slim but if Bean is out. I see no chance of a good guy win.

Colorado lost to a Washington State team last night that had previously lost 6 consecutive games 56-14 ending Colorados chance at a bowl game. My original prediction of them being lucky to win more than 4 games turned out to be a true assessment.

Not sure if anyone has heard but after a long battle with cancer KJ lost him mom today. Prayers for the Adams family. Not really any thing else to say other than she raised a terrific young man.

@Bosthawk I’ll admit, I’ve been a little tough on him but not because of shooting. I think you are right, he’ll be hitting in a game or two this season. But my god idk if I’ve seen a player more outta position defensively and his lateral quickness is arguably the worst I’ve ever seen at this level. He may get a little better at positioning but he ain’t getting any faster as a 6th year guy. Furphy will surpass him in minutes within the next few weeks.

@kuballin10 Did you forget Jackson existed? First off everyone scores less in conference, most the games in the B12 are a race to 75 points. We don’t need to average the 95 we currently do. Hunter will average 20 plus a game, Kev will average 15 plus a game and KJ Will average 10 plus game. The rest will pens if Furphy gets hot like he did the other night or Jackson. Juan also will play a roll in, like next game against Chaminade, he wont score in double figure’s because he won’t have too. I’ll guarantee you right now this team with finish the season averaging above 75 ppg.

In a perfect world Juan is a 10 and 10 type guy on a nightly basis

To answer the question on what to expect at the champions classic. I’m gonna say expect to win 89-84, Hunter has 20 plus points and rebounds, Kev probably goes for a triple double. You heard it here first folks.

I’m not worrying at this point, they are shooting well above average. The big knock on this UK team is their shooting or was lol

@AsadZ I’m with @Texas-Hawk-10 RB just isn’t an important position in todays NFL. Would be shocked if he isn’t in a Jayhawk uniform next season especially with NIL nowadays.

Devin Neal ran for 137 yards and a Touchdown yesterday. In doing so he now has 2,762 rushing yards passing legends John Riggins, Gale Sayers and Clark Green. June Henley holds the record with 3,841 yards. Pretty good story for a local carving out one of the best careers in jayhawk history as he currently sits 4th on rushing touchdowns list as well. He could be best statistically by the time he leaves town.

@Crimsonorblue22 the officiating was terrible no question. I think the announcers picked about 6 penalties they missed on TT and 2 on us. We still should’ve won

Texas A&M intends to Fire Jimbo Fisher at some point today. He has a 76 million dollar buyout, yes 76 million dollars. That’s absolutely insane on all fronts.

@kuballin10 Sounds like him and TB aren’t buddies by any stretch of imagination. TB is lucky he didn’t get a T for coming across the court to cuss out the TV announcers. Wasn’t a good look for Virginia basketball on all fronts.

@stoptheflop it’s Kentucky, everyone wants to smack them in the mouth. Big picture wise this game doesn’t mean a whole heck of a lot. We have played in this every year for a decade or so now. I think that helps even with the younger guys because the upperclassmen will be there to get them in the right frame of mind. The older guys have all played in bigger games than this.

@FarmerJayhawk His jumper looks much more in flow and smooth this season. Last season he had a hitch in it, he’s put some hours in the gym this offseason no question.

@Texas-Hawk-10 this is definitely the worst loss in coach LLs career here. We flat out got out coached but it was going to happen at some point. The best learn in victory and defeat. Ballard was salty when you consider he had 3 dropped passes and his INT was in his receivers hands first. Bean seems be on an every other week schedule. One week he is the best back up QB in the nation and could start at a lot of schools. The next week he’s making the wrong read and throwing into double/triple coverage.

@BShark he’s a good dude, still friends with him on snap chat. We message back and forth a few times a month. He’s doing really well and I think he will be a candidate to play over seas.

@FarmerJayhawk yes the chiefs struggle in short yardage for the same reason. Line up in the shotgun and hand it off 5 yards deep. Get under center, try the tush push or use a lead blocking full back. @wissox we will always want more as fans, right or wrong. I just hate running 2 gadget plays in the red zone with a 3rd string QB. Just like bringing a cold Bean in to attempt a pass when JD was on fire in the bowl game. Sometimes the smartest coaches over think the simple plays. It just isn’t logical or intelligent anyway you slice it. I think we needed to run a bit more on that last series once we got inside the 30. Still glad he’s our coach and very happy with the progress he’s made. I personally think the speed option worked great today the few times we ran it. It’s the same thinking as their RB getting over 20 carries in the first half. We couldn’t stop it at that point so why stop?

It’s a positive to have an argument on who the best player is on the team. Great teams like 08 and 22 championships you literally could’ve said 3 or 4 different guys were the best and you wouldn’t have been wrong on a given night.

@FarmerJayhawk very true just a stupid way to lose a game. Hopefully the staff completely revamps the red zone offense and doesn’t run a prevent defense when the team needs just a FG. Several folks on ESPN called out the staff for such.

Such a weird feeling giving away games we would’ve been happy to be in over the last decade. Good to be 7-3 and making back to back bowls for only the second time ever. But man we completely crapped ourselves today and in Stillwater.
