@FarmerJayhawk I personally don't mind a coach being very tough. I had a bit of a man crush on Bobby Knight - I wanted to be him if I had been a coach. Sorry. I knew the mother of one of his 4 year players and she would NOT let you bad mouth him. She said he was a much better man than his public persona, but that was how he coached. Honestly, if you're a college - D1 - football player and have to be coddled and not yelled at, you should probably take up chess or ice dancing or something.

@jayballer67 I've been rooting for KU Football (and Basketball) for about 60 years. I am not a fair weather fan. I am a fan who is watching what was supposed to be a potentially historic season quickly go down the drain because of either a stupid Offensive Coordinator or a QB who is grossly under-performing. I'm breathing just fine.
If someone with the initials "J.D." doesn't figure out how to play college ball by about 2:00pm CDT this Saturday, he needs to get on with his other, more important duties like figuring out World Peace, saving baby whales and solving Global Warming and let anybody else play QB. I'm still dumb enough to want to go to a bowl game.
I wonder if Grimes will coach any games in the new stadium?
