@jayballer73 What i've been saying since i was five years old is K-State never has a dominant team. Every win they've had in the last 55 years is a fluke. Bad calls, injuries, moon phases, lucky rabbit's foot, whatever you want to call it - K-State has never beaten anyone. EVER.
The other team beats themselves and the Purple Pu**ies beat their chest and say WE OWN THIS STATE. They make me want to puke.
I wanted #14 , but I want #15 Sooooooooooo much more because of who is "contending" for the title. Bah.

@bcjayhawk For this game, take ISU out of the picture. Just root for the team that's playing K-State. That's what I do - regardless of who K-State plays.

Lawson should think of dunking once in a while. I'm 60 and dunk almost as well as he does. Which is not at all.
Agree with @Kcmatt7 - I'm glad the Chiefs got rid of him. Wish they had done it the same way with Marcus Peters (no related incidents, i just think he's a terrible person. Sue me) We all knew someone would pick up Hunt. Nobody gives a crap about morality - they just want someone that can put up stats and help them win. I hope he gets his life straightened out. And I hope Cleveland never wins another game. EVER.

Here's what losing Vick means to this team:
NOTHING
Other than the first 4 or 5 games, he's been a distraction and a disappointment. He's not a good team player and he is not a leader. Vicks absence will only help this team. Not having a lot of "depth" is, in my opinion, a great thing - barring more injuries. If 6-7 players can learn to play well together (maybe we could try 6 or 7 at one time......never mind), it's a WHOLE lot better than trying to get 9 or 10 players happy getting them minutes and disrupting whatever flow there had been.

The first fight I was ever involved in was because of the KU - KSU hatred. I was 9 years old, liked sports a lot (mostly participating in, TV wasn't a big factor in 1967 and the only other media was radio) so I wasn't aware of the whole rivalry thing until this kid in my class kept running his mouth incessantly about Willie the Wildcat and Purple Power and all kinds of idiotic garbage. He was in my face about it continually - until I put my fist in HIS face. (I grew out of the anger thing.....well, nobody else gave me crap about KSU after that so I didn't have an anger thing!) I've had a bad taste about K-State for over 50 years now, that part likely won't change. I can tolerate ribbing and stupidity from the Purple Klan now and when they get out of hand, I just consider the source.
You know, losing "The Streak" wouldn't bother me at all if we got beat by a really good, dominant team. That won't be the case this year. The Big 12 is not anywhere near normal strength and every game we've lost is because - - - WE LOST - - - we haven't been beaten or dominated in one single conference game this year except at Iowa State. When you have 20+ turnovers and are a poor free-throw shooting team, you are giving away games. Just giving them away. The streak was fun while it lasted. OK, it's not over yet, but things aren't looking good. Here's my plea to this team - just quit playing like wimps. (no offense to wimps everywhere, most of whom would play harder and smarter than these guys) Hustle once in a while. Don't make stupid turnovers. Look at the Kansas uniform you're wearing and pay homage to the ones that have been there before you and really care about the Crimson and Blue.
