Waiting for Mitch to UNLEASH the fury
Vick to have a Malik game leap any game now.
Carpe Diem - Malik Newman
Poor 3s and FTs, ton of bricks...yet we go in at the half with a lead? They'll figure it out and make adjustments. They are pushing hard and trying to drop the hammer, too eager, and anxious. Unfortunately, there are no cupcakes in our path to the F4. Dook and UK had cake walk games today.
NOVA absolutely manhandling BAMA
OU, TCU, UT...gone
Down to 1KU, 5WVU, 9KSU, and 3TTU
KSU and UMBC...Whoa Nellie
Cuse playing BE thug ball

DG IS IN THE HOUSE
FLSt sticking it to Fizzou
Wow fouls off charts in cuse game
Real upset alert of a #1...me likey
Cuse fouling hard and no call
Get him fluids and a rub down
Not sure about Bennett's record, but I think he has a little bit more to play before the bloods look at him.
Boeheim retiring after this year?
Dook may go after him, but K is going to be much like Snyder. They will put him on life-support and put him on the side lines.
UMB self destructing

Losing this game makes Bennett 100% unhireable by any blue bloods lol.
Which blood is looking to hire him?
UMBC looking good...might stun the cavs
After Higgins last yr, theres gonna be a lot of lynch mobs. Refs make bad calls or miss calls, but teams cant let games come down to those calls.

Wow Virginia is down 7 early in the second to UMBC
Would not be disappointed to see uva go down
Thanks to the Sooners and the Horns for representing the B12
If the Toads dont play they will be the next victims
We dont need Doke. Lets rest and heal him for maybe game 2 and on...May not need him for game 2 either. The more rest, more healing, and better he plays down the stretch.
Good point. Do we really need Doke in the opener? I say no. Let him rest another game, which will be another week. I say the longer we give him, the more healing he receives, and his legs will be fresh.

@HawkChamp They don't have the same kind of athletes as Washington. I feel that's the big difference.
Oh yeah...where is Washington now?

@JayHawkFanToo Agree. - - The only thing soft about Mitch is he needs time with Hudy. - No one comes close to him in drawing Charges as much as Mitch does. - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG
Maybe this is my point. He needs to be stronger. But he is playing a higher level at this point, especially the WVU game.

@truehawk93 I am pretty sure Mitch was the only player who made any mistakes or silly fouls. Except for DG throwing the ball 8 rows up, or his how many other turnovers?
Mitch did exactly what he was asked to. Expecting perfection is nuts.
Naw...not perfection.

So these games will be played in the illustrious INTRUST Bank Center...I've never been there. It's visible off Kellogg (54), looking just North. It's actually on the "FlyOver" before you get to the Hillside area.
Anyone going? I'm tempted, but not sure what tix are available. I live in the OKC area. I went to the horrible game in the then Ford Center with Cole and Collins...the UNI nightmare. By the way, I'm still trying to figure out what a Farokmanesh really is...
NEVER GO TO ANOTHER TOURNAMENT GAME AGAIN. IT IS YOUR SACRED DUTY.
I think it was a bad omen for a JHawk fan to live in the OKC area, from Kansas, and then attending a game in OKC. Maybe my juju will change this time. Maybe it will be reversed since the game is in Wichita. There's no place like home?
As long as there is NO Farokmanesh...
There was a QT just East of downtown a while back in the Water area. Some guy crawled in the back of the car while the owner was in the QT. The clerk calmly said, don't go to your car someone just climed in the back. They called the cops and arrested the idiot.

Ohhhh....East Douglas...alley? Whoa, now that's rough.
At least they were honest thieves.

@truehawk93 The neighborhoods I could afford to live in Wichita, Iād get my TV stolen every night lol. WSU is in such a crappy part of town, I had some friends that went there it was prefectly normal for their cars to get broke into. Old Town used to be decent when I was younger, now someone gets shot or stabbed almost weekly there.
haha...hmmm...which areas? About three come to mind. I grew up in West Wichita.
It gets a little rough when you get East of the Little and Big Arkansas. Stay West of there and they're not too bad...North and South along the River. If you go N through Valley Center and South through Haysville, it's not too bad.
North high area is a little rough. South isn't too bad. SE isn't too bad. West sits right in the heart of Wichita. NW and Bishop Carrol not too bad, East sits in a rough area. You could handle the outliers of Rose Hill, Derby, Haysville, Maize, Goddard, Valley Center (Heights sits roughly around), Park City (has history with BTK, and the Carr bros, yes, likely same Carr family or related to Antoine formerly of WSU), but overall, not a bad place.
I type corrected...Providence are the Friars, not Quakers...
We expect your usual opponent posting of Providence and others throughout the tourney. Gotta keep that practice as a form of consistency. Don't break consistency.
That's compliment...I think.

KU plays Penn in Wichitard. Game is on TBS.
Hey hey hey...easy on Wichita. Don't hold the Shox and Marsha against Wichita.
Just read Frannie's twitter dribble on small ball, Hoiberg, and winning the B12. There are Clown fans trying to credit Hoiberg for Self's use of 'small ball.'
Hoiberg may have 'invented' small ball, but Self WINS the conference and the tourney. So, Hoiberg may have 'invented,' but Self PERFECTED it. It's one thing to use it, and another to master it. Funny how the Clowns try to 'credit' Hoiberg for Self winning conference and tourney.

Let's stop looking ahead to ever games and take the game against Penn one-game-at-a-time
Exactly...when the boys started doing it against OU, we won the conference. One game at a time won the tourney.
Damn folks...I'm sure they're all kicking back saying, "YES...we're in KU's bracket. They are going to be a pushover. They won their conference and tourney, we got this bracket."
I'm pretty sure I read and heard something about the B12 being the best conference top to bottom. Our bottom could beat or at least give the top of most conferences a run for the money. I like our chances, regardless of teams and brackets. For the first time in a long run of tourney runs, I think KU is battle tested. Our conference has given us some great games for the NCAAs.

When did Konate yell at the fans? If it was after the game, no T's could be assessed. I'm guessing if it happened during the games the refs would have issued the T.
It's also pretty amazing to trash talk to a team that's won about 75% of the time during Huggies time, and of course, had won twice this year.
We let our play do our talking, but I'm pretty sure that Self wouldn't allow that to get out of hand.
Watch the game again. He did walking down the middle of the court at about half court...I read his lips and it was clear. Albeit, after a play, but still classless all the same.
I'd say it's 50/50. He will likely test the waters.
