Frankly, I don’t get WVU style of play. Yes, it works against teams with weak guards but KU did not seem particularly bothered by it and just tired its own players.

Not according to Fran Pretanella. He said it was working "pretty good." I love it when Frannie gushes over WVU an Huggins' style of play, and then we beat them.

Exactly. But they can't because fan bases will scream. The media will call them out. And Huggy suggesting that refs sit in post-game media press conferences. He should've been fined or suspended for his ridiculous comment. This is unacceptable for a coach, A COACH calling out their conference refs, bad taste and poor sportsmanship. He only incited his fanbase and hurt college basketball.

I heard that shizz. This is all Baby Huey knows how to do. He uses his big mouth. I can't wait to see his azz on the court after being decked. The media encouraged a lot of the drama too. Fran, and his mini-me didn't help things. I can't believe Fran had the audacity to complain and call out the refs the way he did. Then last night he praised them for not calling fouls against WVU and Konate. Fran is a POS.

He has a big mouth and he pretty much manipulated the refs. He and Huggy DARED the refs to call fouls against him, let alone a technical. This is what Huggy does to bball. Konate was out of control and all the refs did was 'warn' his stupid azz. He went at Silvio and Graham. He even went at the refs, and they let him.

As I said, overall he played a fair game. Yes, he takes some charges, but those charges are 50/50. They've also hurt him. Watch the game again, compare his ball protection to Silvio. He's careless and weak. OSU double teamed him and he damn near lost the ball. Samuels tipped a shot in that Mitch should've snagged. He literally went over Mitch and used Mitch's hand to tip the ball in the net. Watch the game again, and watch Mitch objectively. Self pushes him hard too. I thought Self was going to blow a gasket at Mitch and Svi.

I'm trying to pay him a compliment. I think he can play even better. Lastly, I do love his stroke and he looks so good when he sinks treys.

I'm mixed on the whole OU/OSU tourney bubble stuff. Frankly, I don't think either deserve to play in the tourney, but for the sake of the B12, at this point OSU seems to edge out OU. I just can't reward OU after their current body of play. I say send OU to the NIT and reward OSU's latest play. Having said that, I think OSU loses games in the tourney that OU would likely win. It's a hard decision and glad the committee gets to do their job on selection Sunday.

Meeotch committed two stupid fouls AND fouled out, so..........He's soft and at times a little dorky on the court at times. But overall, he did some great work. S&M will have to play much smarter in the next game and the final game. They cannot afford to foul out.

Meeotch should know better too. I can give Silvio some passes, but not Heavyfoot.

“Similar to an ankle or whatnot, there’s obviously a ligament that’s strained or stretched and it’s too loose to put him back out there,” Self said. “But these are injuries that I’ve been told the healing process can begin very quickly, at 48-72 hours.”

A mild grade one MCL sprain usually takes 2-6 weeks to heal.

Maybe with some low grade PT, strength, and TLC from Hudy...he can decrease that by maybe a few wks. Plus he's young, and really healthy. You say 2-6 wks? I'm going to say with the above treatment, and with some luck...1-2 wks? 3 wks tops. Maybe he can wear a brace to provide some extra support.

Preston played just 47 minutes in the Adriatic League in his three games of action, scoring 21 points on 21 field goal attempts with 12 rebounds in total.

Like you mentioned earlier, they earned this loss by being two games up and winning the B12. They actually proved me right because about 3-4 games ago...maybe OU game, they would win B12 and lose to OSU. Right on queue.

I don't trust HOFHCBS when he plays OSU. I really think he finds a way to get his teams to lose. I'm glad #14 wasn't based on this game...geesh. I was afraid they would end this way by winning B12 and then losing in Stillwater.

You all mark my words. OSU will go to the NIT and LOSE in the first round like UK did a while back. I kinda think that would be even more embarrassing if they do. I hope they do the B12 a solid and at least win.

Maybe they got that ugly out of the way. Who cares about seeding and short travel distances? Not KU...It would've been nice for the first few rounds to be in Wichita and Omaha.

KU just lost their #1 seed and possibly the Midwest Region. They were itching to give that to Xavier. Now KU gets the consolation prize to the West Coast. I hope they enjoy their long trip which will be a 2 hr difference in time zone. Way to piss that away guys.
