Sorry, I just lost some respect for Huggy. How can a coach with his years, and bball IQ even raise this issue. I can't believe he's blaming the refs. He admitted you can't win shooting 2 FTs. His guards chose not to drive. The Doke block on Miles was clean. Doke went straight up and Miles threw the ball into Doke's arms. People are bitching about the last 2 mins. What about WVU blowing a huge lead. Ask Washington, ASU, TT, or OSU if there was any 'home cooking.'
I am SOOOOOOOO sick of the home cooking CHIT I could throw up. If a coach, team or fan base is expecting calls by the refs to win a game, they are stupid. Huggy even said for the refs to, "Come out and answer questions" at the post game pressers. This would eliminate ALL credibility and neutrality. I can't tell you how many games I've wanted to 'blame' the refs. But I know they are human and they make calls. There were so so so many fouls committed by WVU, but I didn't say a word. And sorry the flop by Big Mouth Sagaba (sp.), he's cheap and has an NBA ego that needs humbled. Doke's tap to him and his flop was NO foul. How about the mauling of Svi? They mauled all game, but hey, that's WVU ball. I accept it. But if you foul on virtually every play, there will be fouls. I thought there were tick tack fouls all game both ways. The majority of the WVU fouls were committed in the last 2 mins. WVU lost because they are not the better team. Shame on Huggy for indicting the refs. You know DAMN well he would not say a word if he were the recipient of the 35-2 FTs.
If I were the refs, I would respond to Huggy's accusations. This is unacceptable and the NCAA needs to get this under control. This is going to not only hurt KU against OU and UT, but it's going to hurt the refs for the remainder of the year. KSuck and even Ukrap is even getting in on the bandwagon. This is ridiculous in the middle of all the 'investigations.' This is out of control and it started with Higgins last year in the UK game. UK like WVU, LOST.
Crap...Any word what the Royals are doing to find a fair replacement?
Great win...now, beat OU
Memory lane...
Ancient Chinese secret huh?...If you remember that commercial, you're older than dirt.
@Hawk8086 The lowest order ever
Raiders really deserve to lose after what they chanted during the OU game...CLASSLESS, unbelievable fan base. This is what they do when they lead the conference...
And not a comment from Frannie. He's the worst analyst ever. His son even played for OU.
UH OH...Scotty looking to do the Hawks a favor in Wacko?
It happens when a team plays like the billys, they foul, plain and simple. It's the nature of their game.
THAT'S GREAT SETH GREENBERG, BUT YOU CAN DO ... THIS
Ok...let's root for da Baaares
Tonight only are Jayhawks Bears
who thinks TT goes down?
TT down in Wacko...
Gotta separate and get a better lead to put this away in the last 60 secs....ok, on way
Love how he says Rock Chalk Jayhawk...let it play over and over and over...Rock Chalk Jayhawk...
Say it again...Ochai
TT @ BU
@ OSU
KU
@ WVU
I think they could lose at both BU/OSU. If not both, hopefully one. I hope KU shows up in Lubbock. Let's see if Huggy can neutralize them in Motown.
Warrior
Ok Jayhawk Nation, one game and win at a time. Let's take it and move on to sweep wvu in the Phog.
Those V day palps are healthy and usually end with a win win or net net...My wife loves it win KU wins, because she 'wins.' It's a really bad day when they lose.
She's a Poke, and I win either way when KU and OSU plays.
Wow...sounds like a great strategy. I hope another certain coach uses whatever Beard used to produce those results.
This team gives me palpitations.
So much for OU beating TT...Where's Young when it counts? He scored 19 pts, 0-9 3pt shots.
Evans 26 pts, 4-7 3pts
Evans better than Young, and more consistent
Tonight I am a Boomer Sooner, ONLY TONIGHT
BOOMER...
SOONER...
I have three wishes:
KU to win #14
KU to win NC
Svi to meet Anastasia
All good, I get it. They better play and prove you wrong.
On a lighter note...I wonder if Svi is a curling fan? If I were from the Ukraine, I would be a big big fan of curling.
Curling anyone? Anastasia Bryzgalova, Russia

Key word "IF"...I'll take the odds against your fear, concern, or the inability to believe this team can win at least one (1) or more of those games you just mentioned.
I would be a bit concerned about WVU in the Phog. I really like the chances against TT. I think the proverbial shoe is now on the other foot of TT. KU is now the hunter in the TT game. I like the odds of the game.
I say the ISU game is going to provide a good indication for the remainder of the year. I don't think this KU team is done.
Whatever the reason Preston left a huge hole...big gapping...ginormous...unfillable HOLE. I wish we new the whole story and final findings. I have a bad feeling it ended badly either way.
Geese fly way higher
One game at a time...
BEAT THE CLOWNS...RCJHGOKU
Naah...Self mellows with age. He loves it...all of it.
@JayHawkFanToo Yep...I posted the ISU game just got even harder. This is going to be a team decision. Self seems to be coaching his azz off and this team is slow to respond by his actions. He is super frustrated with their uncharacteristic play. We all know they can win, but they tend to beat themselves more often than not.
This season is squarely on them. They have the talent and ability. They have to come together as a team, not individuals. It seems they've had some nasty breaks lately too. If they can play and get the right breaks, they have a great chance.
This is not the question to ask. This is the most unproductive question for a team that is struggling to produce wins at this point.
Your question is how should HOFCBS fix the problem. Sitting Newman is not an option. We are short and I think you let them play at this point and hope it clicks. It's too late to start the chemistry crap or blame game.
Let's not create more questions. We have more questions than we do answers.
So much for hoping other teams lose. ksu is done and unlike BU they don't want to play beyond the conference. IF I were a B12 team, like BU, I'd be playing my azz off and fighting to play in post-season play.
Still a lot of basketball left and TT is a flash at this point. The question is can they maintain. The ksu kitty game was a start, but their games get bigger. IF they win B12, they will have to earn it by going through a few other teams first. Also, last I checked, the title STILL goes through Lawrence. This ain't over till it's over.
Someone posted, "the odds are against KU," but I'd say the odds are against any team that leads the conference. In other words, the pressure is on TT. IF they win the gauntlet, I'd say they deserve it. KU doesn't play, they simply don't earn it. This is the year of EARNINGS. No charity and no KU entitlement. This 14th will be the most difficult, and possibly the most appreciated of all the other 13 titles.
If this team wants #14, they need to play and earn it.
Rock Chalk
We better hope ksu beats TT. The Ames game is looking really tough for KU.
We have OU, WVU, and UT. It really depends on how badly they want to win...at home. Svi says they will NOT lose anymore home games.
@kjayhawks I said after the Poke game in Lawrence that TT would go down at least 2-3 times in the next three games. The purple ones will give them a good game.
TT at BU
at OSU
at WVU
OU, KU, and TCU in Lubbock
You tell me how many of these TT will drop. I didn't say they can't win either, but the odds of them running the table or winning half of these games are slim. The entire B12 is now in desperation mode.
TT away games are going to be huge and I predict they drop 2, and maybe 3. OSU is riding high and they just beat WVU too, IN MOTOWN.
I think they drop at BU, OSU, and likely WVU.
They beat OU and TCU at home. I think KU will be too hungry to be swept. KU has got to take care of business.
Reset..OU, WVU, and UT at home respectively. OU looks like a win, but my guess is they will show up to play in the Phog. WVU will not lose easily in the Phog, and UT has been playing fairly well. Mo Bamba will attempt another block party too.
Lubbock, Ames, Stillwater...OK, looks great. I think we can beat TT. I think they will be over confident. ISU will play us well. OSU would love to sweep KU in Stillwater to storm the court.
Rock Chalk
@Crimsonorblue22 He is manning up, but a little too aggressive. He needs discipline.
@DoubleDD Meeotch actually played a good game.
@StLJhawk We went from leading, chance to extend, losing, tying, and now 2nd.
Love the glass half empty folks. That crap doesnt work in bball.
Now, we have to hope TT loses two and hopefully KU will win in Lubbock. This was a bad game for KU in Waco, and BU actually played one of, if not best game of their season.
@BShark I forgot about that...IRONY? This will be some poetic justice if we get Langford. Most think Vandy and KU are the only leaders of the three leaders. But, if IU is in the picture and think they are just not to the degree the "experts" say. We have a chance to steal yet another recruit from IU and Archie Miller. We all know how Sean Miller has stolen several recruits from KU. But we did get Withey too.
I could really see OA red shirting and developing under Romeo. OA could be an even greater factor after his RS year, if/when RL heads to the league. OA is going to be a really special PP (Program Player). This is going to get really interesting....JHawk interesting.
Also, hope everyone saw Grimes' Tweet. "Naah...it (alley oops) will happen in AFH!" Love it. I hope Grimes knows something most of us don't know.
@BShark Program player is a great term.
@Bosthawk Yes, but a KU lean. Regardless of Ochai, he can RS, but need to look at roster. I think Cunliffe is gone. Either Vick and or Newman may be gone too.
We'll see, but I have an odd feeling Romeo to KU. I dont care what the experts say.
Romeo to KU if Grimes has anything to do with it.
GREAT get. I wonder if Romeo informed Self or if we still have a shot at RL?
TT is on the road against ksu, bu, okst, wvu...They are leading the B12 right now. Let's hope they go 0-4 on the road.
