Watching the Shox and Cats. Just saw CF sink a trey. I might add he has one of the best looking shots, but his feet are so slow against a quicker defender. They will have to set screens and picks to get him some looks. He sure can't create because he's just too small at this level.

haha Ball playing for a team in one of the biggest bball conferences in the nation. Yet the PAC is pretty much the weakest conference when compared to other conferences.

@wrwlumpy Sexy read and sobering. CBS is going to spout off pieces to hype the game for viewers. However, I heard Izzo mention in his pre-game interview he is not banking on his record. He will tell plain and simple this game is a good game. But he loves, loves, loves experience. His boyz just don't have the experience of KU at this point.

CBS is definitely playing this angle for all it's worth, but Izzo might tell them to pull the crap off the wire because all the numbers don't quite add up today.

@JayHawkFanToo Fine. 1m may be a great start, but don't let the guy walk. Give him what he deserved. You don't know bball if you think he isn't worth more than 1m. I'd say he would've been one of the better or is one of the better B12 coaches. Not only did OSU lose, but the B12 lost too.

@Hawk8086 You give TBoone too much credit. He doesn't care about the bball program. All his money is going to the pigskin and gridiron. Take a look at their facilities.

@Texas-Hawk-10 You may be the D1 head coach salary man, but my guess is, he went for a kind of evaluation with the AD of OSU and they basically gave him a "sub-standard" eval. He likely had Illinois calling him at some point during the season. My guess is, out of respect for OSU, he gave them a chance to pony up something a bit more to his season finish. I think they held steady with a poker face, and held at 1m (to your point), and LOST. Stupid. I don't care what you say, the man deserved more money, but OSU decided he wasn't worth anymore as a "4th year D1 coach." He was proven at SFA, and he provided some good games, showed some promise. You pony up something on good faith.

Your comment as "isn't ridiculous" wasn't too ridiculous to Underwood, hence he left. Also, some on this board are calling him some disrespectful names. The man earned my respect. He did more in his first year than Ford did the last 3-4 years at OSU. There's more to this than money. The B12 lost a great coach. Yes, it was stupid of OSU to let him walk after 1m his first year. WOW, stupid move on OSU's part. They will not find a better coach at ALL.

Listened to Izzo's interview and as always provided some classy input for the game. He used the term "battle tested" for his team. He mentioned playing Dook and UK during the season. I'm sure he was referring to KU playing both teams and beating both teams. KU is "battle tested." Izzo smartly referred to experience over talent. He was clear that experience matters and his team was young. But I guarantee he will bring his guys in with nothing to lose at all. They will leave it all on the court against KU. I don't know what the Miami game did to MSU, but either they played one of the best games of their season, or they will be put out or wore down from the MIami game. Let's see what they bring against KU. Also, Miles Bridges mentioned KU's bigs being deeper than their bench. I hope Bragg and Coleby continue to raise their games in this game and going forward. It's clear we will need them.
