@dylans I grew up in Lawrence. I've been repulsed by the color purple my whole life.

That makes 4 on Dedric, Dotson, and Grimes. Two of those make me nervous.

Anybody who assists in the recruitment of prospective student-athletes is a booster, according to the NCAA definition. Doesn't matter what their job is, or if their company profits from that decision. Pretty straightforward.

Assisted in providing benefits to enrolled student athletes or their families.
Been involved otherwise in promoting university athletics.

Once an individual is identified as a “representative of the institution’s athletics interests,” the person retains that identity forever.

I don't think they need to be sanctioned by the university. They are just trying to provide a boost to the school, whether or not they've been asked to.

I think employees of Adidas can be considered KU boosters. They want us to do well so they sell more shoes.

All schools are still open in Winnipeg, where I live, despite being -40. People are prepared.

I'm in Tucson right now, though. Pretty happy about that.

@dylans Bill did say last week that he should have done more teaching early this season, with all the new guys.
