That's great! Some of my running miles were on a treadmill in my basement. To achieve the goal 2.739 miles per day (1000/365) needs to happen. I use Irunner, but as far as I can see it doesn't have a cumulative function so I just put them down in a spreadsheet which is really simple to do.
@mayjay I don't golf cart. 1 is because I'm a cheapskate, but 2 is because I like the exercise and try to play as fast as the players in front of me allow me to. So some of my miles were from walking the golf course.
It's interesting to me that as I posted this accomplishment on Facebook some of my friends had to one up me and show how many steps they took and how many miles that added up to. They were largely miles from working which mine aren't at all.
Just a reminder. In 2020 this coach who doesn't have it any more was a pandemic away from his 2nd national championship. No guarantees of course but as good as that team was playing no one would have been surprised if they had won it all. While none of those guys has distinguished themselves so far, 3 of them were future NBA players and 2 more Braun and Ochai are likely NBA players. He had nice talent and they were playing at a high level.

I finished 1000 miles in the calendar year 2021 on New Years Eve. It was mostly running, but some walking, some swimming, and some cross country skiing. 1001 miles this year is my goal!

My ESPN box score was froze on 2:36 and it said KU 74-63. So the final 2:36 neither team scored. We didn't even attempt a shot in that time period. We did pad a big rebounding night stat in that last 156 seconds though. 50 rebounds! 44% overall shooting after all of that ugly.

@jayballer67 It's better than the 6th best team. We had a shooting slump. It happens. Not sad. We proved we're a top team by weathering a 0-20 stretch and still not be losing.
This is one of the best shooting teams in the country. This team isn't pathetic. They're in an unreal slump right now.
