These announcers: "The rest of KU 4 of 17" Well, Ochai is part of the rest of Kansas and he's 3 of 5, so it's actually all the others who are 1 of 12 that are the real culprit.
@DanR I was going to make it more simple than that. We need to score 9 more points than them and we'll be fine.

LOL, the Skyrizi commercial they just showed, the one with the woman in the bright blue dress, I saw being filmed last spring near downtown Chicago. I was heading to take care of some business, came to an intersection and had to stop because of the commercial filming. Always wondered if I'd ever see the commercial and now I have!

Doke played 16 minutes, 2 points, missed 1 FT (surprise!) 3 boards and a block. His opponent Svi didn't play but 2 scoreless minutes. That was his first action in a while, wonder if he was out for covid? Joel did Joel things. He has 6 30+ point games in a row.

Wiggins led a Curryless Warriors over a cold shooting DG tonight with 21 points. Seems like he's the 2nd scoring option on that team.
Man if Remy can become the talent the writers made the preseason POY in the league this team becomes one of the threats to win it all. Not sure it happens without him.
@mayjay That is really remarkable. Can you imagine being that guy? 9 minutes left in half and whatever hunch caused me to drop a bunch of money on something as unlikely as that? That must have been fun to watch if you're that guy.
@drgnslayr I forget which year it was that Self said his team was tough. Thinking it was the final four year, but it may have been the blowout loss to Oregon year too. I forget. May have been 2020 which was definitely a tough team. I went and looked at their schedule. They lost to Duke, Nova, Baylor, no slouches there of course, defeated national runner up TT twice and future NC Baylor. I think that team was tough.
How do you quantify tough? Is it going unbeaten? Winning in tough places? Coming back in a game like we did the other night and overcoming an unheard of shooting slump? Is it just intimidating the heck out of everyone like Kentucky 2012 did? Is it playing lockdown defense? Or is it having an offense that will always score more than your shaky defense gives up?
I'd think this years version of tough for us is looking to be the last one. Not thinking we're going to ride our defense to a title, but I think our offense can carry us to a title.

Big game in Charlotte for Oubre who makes 9 threes and scores 32 over JJackson and Detroit who scored 15. Curry is in a shooting slump and Wigs is leading the team in scoring with only 12 in the 3rd. Embiid scores 31, but what else is new?
