I'm missing Gus Johnson. Great, exciting announcer, although he's a MSU grad and I've heard him go totally over the top cheering for them in games he's done.
@cragarhawk Some are saying UW is kind of like Butler which beat Nova twice. Obviously, it's gonna be a toughie. I have no great hopes with the way the Badgers have been playing lately, but UW went to the FF as an 8 seed in 2000 so they know it can be done.
Grrrr... packing too many games into the evening at same time. And late for a Sunday for me. But wow, what a great schedule of games!
@globaljaybird The thing is sir, I remember that post, and it was one of my most popular threads ever because even though the headline said "I Quit", if you had bothered to read to the end of it I concluded it with "see you next game". But if people start sniping at each other on this site, I will quit this site because it's not who we are.
@Bwag To be honest I saw Marquette once this year and SC never so i have no clue. I'm sure the venue helped, and may provide a little boost against Duke.

Not sure if anyone's still paying attention, but how the heck does a 7 seed like South Carolina get to play a game in their own state? Pretty good treatment for an average team.
@JayHawkFanToo I was talking about a play near the end of the game. I didn't analyze it too closely because I don't really care. I briefly saw earlier a play they were talking about that may have been the play you're referring to.
Dayton caught a huge break. Should have been a shot clock violation, Dayton 3 resulted.

Both teams just benefited from phantom phoul calls on drives. Why do these refs make calls like this? Blows my mind.

So I'm doing the live thread over at the KC paper with Jesse also. One of the other guys Vahe Gregorian who works at that paper puts a link to a Missouri womens buzzer beater on the thread. I said, "Why are you putting crap about missouri womens basketball on our game thread?"

Finally. Jayhawks in the dance, game time. Th.e only negative of a #1 seed, and after so many close games this year, this probably isn't a bad thing, but the 1-16 games are quite the snoozefest usually.
It's probably no big deal that he didn't call a TO. Here's what they say at TO's anyways:
