I remember watching the 1988 national championship game. Oklahoma was supposed to kill us. At halftime the score was 50-50 and Brent Musburger said there was no way we could keep up with Oklahoma in the 2nd half. Danny Manning and the miracles had different thoughts. They out played the Sooners and the Sooners were the ones with their tongues hanging out. We won 83-79. Larry Brown was a great coach and really out coached Tubbs that day. We also beat K State and Duke in that tournament.

I predict we will not win a game until we take that marxist, anarchist BLM patch off our uniforms. I watched several games and no other team had them. These are 18 to 21 year-olds. The coaches and administration should decide what patches go on the uniforms. When this all plays out in the next few months, or so, we will all wonder, what the hell were we thinking putting that patch on our uniforms. I surely hope the basketball team makes a better decision.

Penn St. went for two again and made it to win the game by one point. I was at a friend's house in Prairie Village and was so pissed off, I drove back to Lawrence.
