Remember if you do social media with Central Florida fans make sure you refer to them as that and not UCF because they think Central Florida makes them sound like a directional commuter school, which they are. So it's always Central Florida.
Just because I can't stand the thought of a 2 game losing streak to a directional Florida school and already to a directional Virginia school, I'm gonna go out on a limb and give us a 76-75 win because @Zabudda already took my prediction.

This game has almost a must win sort of feel to it already. I still believe in this team but the egg layed on Tuesday means it's not out of the realm of possibility of an 0-2 record. I'm gonna go out on a limb and believe that a laser focused Jayhawk team bounces back and starts making us believe again.
But wow, what a December that was. 2-3 record. Bad loss to our bitter rival. Blow outs suffered back to back. Inability to protect home court.

Bizarre ending in State College. Northwestern ties game on a layup that was blocked and then tipped in by another NU player. Refs review it and say sorry, our bad it wasn't a goal tend but since we called it, it's a deadball and the tip in doesn't count. Refs totally screw up denying the tie opportunity.
A recent championship helps me to maintain some perspective on this. I'm not nearly smart enough to know what the deal with Storr and Griffen is. Of course I saw a lot of AJ and he was a dynamic scorer for the Badgers. Would you take that if his defense still sucked? We needed more scoring yesterday to make up for the no one guard the lane defense we played.

Bowl season this week has given us some regrets watching two teams we shoulda beat in high profile games. Illinois looked really good against South Carolina and of course Arizona St made me regret turning it off because I watched TV ALL DAY yesterday. That narrow loss to ASU was really impressive for us. It was blazing hot and maybe contributed a little bit to the late collapse, but that game was ours until 16 seconds left.
@kjayhawks Yes indeed. Me too. This bowl season has stunk watching other teams play.
@Kcmatt7 Funny thing is I'll complain about refs, like I still remember 1986 FF against Duke and getting hosed.
But today we got so many calls go our way today, nothing specific, but fouls and FTs disparity made it hard for me to point at the zebras.
The backcourt violation if you can watch again you'll notice the ref in the front court was right there and saw exactly what happened and I think it was the backcourt ref, not in the best position who anticipated the call and called it.
The play that flat out cost us this game was when we forced the TO with about 20 seconds and KJ inexplicably thinks he's MJ or DrJ and has about the same chance I'd have of making one there. I wish Bill had quick used the last TO, but KJ didn't give him much time to make that decision.
Kudos to WVU and their new coach. Big moment for them.
And I'm wondering what happened to this team who was on top of the world seemingly in November after beating Duke?
