Since we've been victimized including our HOF coach, why wasn't ESPN calling for an end to this back then? (maybe they were but I don't remember an national outcry for a coach who most certainly will be remembered by more people in history than the Duke kid)

So do we trade our resume for theirs? 2 championships in that time, but with some down years or our year after year mainly in the top ten receiving top seeds the majority of the time? I know we've discussed this before. Of course they could win again and I wouldn't be surprised. 6 championships in 2 1/2 decades is pretty amazing stuff.
I read somewhere that Uconn hasn't beaten a top 10 team on the road in a decade. But they have 2 NC's in that time.

Since the start of 2020 season we have 103 wins and Kentucky has 75.
Doubtful we'd be mentioned as a playoff team if it was still just a four team tournament.

Nice to see the result today. I'm with family so wasn't contributing to the negativity and then the positivity during the game. First half threatened to turn into another TTech. But a little toughening at the end and some enjoyable Jayhawk basketball for a change.

I was glad to be reminded of Danny during the ceremony for Billy Tubbs. I'm sure OU fans were galled that they'd mar the ceremony by showing DM, but I'm pretty convinced that Danny would have been an almost miracle with his teammates if Billy Tubbs had used his bench. They were gassed at the end because he only used 1 guy for 5 minutes, kind of like what Bill Self has been forced to do recently.

@dylans Sorry you experienced those losses. None of this is easy to discuss. I really wish that many of the causes you mentioned were taken more seriously.
One of the interesting parts of this media circus surrounding the amazing Clark is that she is moving into 2nd place all time, not first.
Surprisingly the brilliant Lynette Woodard is the all time leading scorer, but the NCAA didn't recognize stats from the 70's/80's when she played here. So her incredible career doesn't get the recognition it should, but from what I hear, she was quite amazing during her time here.
That being said Caitlin will pass her up in a matter of 5 or 6 games if she keeps producing at present pace, but it's kind of a shame one of our own isn't recognized as the best.
If the line "it's the people that kill, not the weapon" why would we make the weapon available to people who could use them to kill a lot of people? We ban other weapons of mass destruction for personal use, so why not these crazy assault weapons that are being used?
Someone studied shooting victims and the average price per victim is over a million dollars in this study.
Another aspect of our gun culture is suicide. Half of gun deaths in the US are suicides. People who want to die are way more successful if a gun is available.
There's a lot of reasons to have a serious drawback of gun ownership in this country and the time is now.
Repeal the 2nd Amendment. Or I don't know, can you keep it but rewrite it?

I wasn't listening to Fran call the game so I missed this but I saw a tweet in which Fran claimed Bill told him that he's never going to have an incomplete roster like this again. Sounds like he's coming back with a new resolve. Lets hope so.
@kjayhawks Has this team gone home the first weekend? I can't even believe that you don't recognize that this team without Kevin, a mid season all American, is suffering without him. There's a site at the Lawrence Journal World and everyone there writes all sorts of crazy things. Maybe you'd like that better.
