I hate being this close to KU playing and not being able to go to the game.
Only 4 times was a Kareem sky hook blocked, Wilt did it twice in one game.
And DaJuan's not as good as Steph Curry we're told. Like who the heck on the entire planet is as good as Steph Curry?
They should get rid of the coach who keeps playing such a poor point guard too. Darn, I guess they can't because of some sort of lifetime contract deal now?

I recall a game, oh, it was in April as I recall, a Monday night, I think it was in the Superdome, opponent just was called UNC, so I don't know if they were good or anything but Juan scored 2 points, he had 4 turnovers, did have 3 assists and nearly committed an all time blunder by stepping out of bounds when the game is wrapped up if he stays in bounds. Terrible game, no way KU is winning that game. But I remember him jumping up and down with his teammates and they gave them a big trophy and hung a banner because, despite DaJuans poor play, they were national champions.
His name is DaJuan, stop calling him Juan.

Interesting that the article was posted Oct. 12, and the consequences were handed down Oct. 11. But I think we forfeited 15 games and so an 8 game lead over Kentucky is now a 7 game deficit, so, this game really does matter!
Baylor getting a tough game from Gardner Webb because of course, why wouldn't they? I mean GW is 160th Ken Pom and Baylor is 10.
I really give a lot of credit to Lance for what he's done here. He's made us have hope for KU football again.
But his penchant for trick plays is usually cool when it's in the flow of a game, but twice now I think it has cost us by not giving us the best chance to win. I guess you can't say we would have scored on the 3rd down that led to the tying FG but lining a freshman QB out at WR and running a wildcat on the weak side of the field was really not my idea of a great chance.
Many remember the end of the Arkansas game when he took the ball out of Daniels hands and we failed. Lance needs to finish these games strongly and he does a lot obviously but I don't like these calls.

Giving up points at the end of an unproductive first half was my biggest takeaway. Tough circumstances forces a 3rd stringer to come in who engineers a really nice drive and we just got to put points on the board.
We're KU football we've seen this before.

Anyone see what happened to Tony Bennett last night?
Virginia playing Florida and it's close and it's crunch time. Refs review a play and give it to Virginia. The ESPN announcer who played at Virginia calls the refs over and says on our monitor it looks like you got it wrong. Refs look at it and agree and change the call for Florida. Bennett goes nuts saying how can a TV guy help the refs like that? Virginia overcame that and won anyways, but we'd have had an all time collective coronary had that happened against us.

Now lesson learned from last week. When ISU scored to make it a game we hit them with a huge 80 yard TD pass on the very next play. Be careful Jayhawks. Play your game, we got the wind, their O hasn't exactly gashed us today.

Well this is a rough half of football. Defense stiffened enough thankfully to keep us in it during the 2nd quarter, but Tech seems a little dirty. The reviewed play didn't hit the helmet of our guy but he did lead that way. The play the TE got hurt was excessive. Is he back does anyone know? Wow, what seemed like a almost guaranteed victory is now gonna be a struggle.
Ballard, bless his heart, is not a good thrower of the football, but I also think we can drive down the field like we did on the long drive.
When we got a 3rd string QB and we're down 10 late in the half a FG would have been nice there. Not the best call in my book.

Ben Simmons didn’t have a terrible attitude in college. I had first row seats to many of his games in Baton Rouge. His issue was he just wanted to go pro out of HS but wasn’t allowed to. I haven’t followed him that much in the nba so I guess people would say he has a bad attitude.
