@mayjay I like the thought of KU in the Rose Bowl. No insult, but I do find some of those projections right now to be a lack of respect for KU football . I kind of understand that of course in some respects but this team has earned some respect this season, don't you think? And no self respecting football team should ever feel good about being invited to the Pop Tart Bowl.

Currently CBS has us in the Alamo Bowl against future league opponent Arizona so kind of mehh on that one. Arizona does have a really nice resume going 3-2 the last 5 weeks all against ranked teams. But they're currently not ranked.
This one sounds like a joke and I think it's kind of disrespectful to us but Athlon has us in the Pop Tart Bowl against UNC
College Football Network has us in the Alamo but against Oregon St. This is the scariest projection of all. OSU is really tough and would be a great challenge in a normally good to great bowl game.
Sporting News also has us in the Pop Tarts bowl against VTech. More disrespect. VTech is 4-5 with bad losses galore.
Fox has us in the guaranteed rate bowl against BIG west also ran Nebraska. They're 5-4 with badd losses.
Maybe some can search up some more, but it's kind of fun to see these and to be offended at their lack of respect. And most of these are disrespectful. Not sure why they would pit us against crappy teams just earning their way in with a 6-6 record.
Here's hoping a 3-0 finish projects upward into maybe even a BCS (non playoff bowl). Not even sure if that is possible, but we can hope.

First game of a national championship season. This could be fun. Guess the final score.
This is one team I know very very little about. In fact I didn't know it existed, but they've been D1 for about a decade and probably have a record by appearing in 3 first four games in the tournament.
It's a HBCU, won a D2 national championship in 1989. They had a HOF coach notable for his breaking color barriers in coaching. I don't have time to read about him right now but this article sheds some interesting light on the matchup. Surprisingly not, he was influenced greatly by another KU coach named Naismith. Another notable name on the KU coaching tree.

@DanR At least I picked us to beat OU! But then predicted the letdown at ISU. Had us at 7-5 which now would be a disappointment.
@mayjay That process that gave us the Orange Bowl instead of them has always amused me. Basically it was we like KU better than MU even though MU deserves it more than KU.
How about Jason Bean? This guy has almost made us forget about Jalon Daniels. He keeps doing things like beating OU for the first time since Clinton (Bill, not Hillary), beating ISU for the first time since Bush. Although the announcers couldn't stop talking about the freshman QB for the Tornados Jason was making clutch play after clutch play. The touch on some of those throws, while not surprising, was sublime. He was robbed out of another TD pass by a non PI call which Grimm would have strolled into the end zone with ease had he not been held.
While I complained about the refs they did say the dude stepped out of bounds after the long kick return even though none of us saw it. After that long return our D held, forced a punt. Big time D. When momentum was on ISU's and ESPNs side and they were driving to a TD to make it a 3 point game, the D stiffened and forced a FG. Huge play, giving us some breathing room that even if we couldn't run down the clock they'd only be competing for a tying TD instead of either a go ahead TD or tying FG.
Yeah, ISU played like a bunch of losers who realized the only way to beat us was to try to hurt us.
