Just checked box score. Oubre had 25, Joel 28, averaging 30, a double double machine and dishing 7 times a game. It'd be fun to watch the Sixers play in the finals next spring.

I have zero clue. 4.5 months from now we can make more accurate predictions. Does anyone remember last years FF? It was so full of obscure teams I barely can remember them now. We can make it and will go take our semi rightful spot in the semi's. We're KU, we have the best coach in all of college so many of us wrote recently. But because we only beat the gorillas by 18 it really must be time to end the NCAAT streak.
Juan must laugh at all the people that forget he also plays defense superbly AND shot 40% from three last season (I know he still shoots like a junior higher). I just can't believe the ridiculous stuff being written here. But I'm not as smart as you experts and so I guess we'll suck.

The Illini Indian chief was a source of pride for Native Americans in Illinois. He was not disrespecting a culture in any way. They don't do the tomahawk chant like Braves/FSU and ahem, Chiefs fans. He did some kind of dance in an outfit that represented the Illini tribe. Illinois athletics has been abysmal for the most part since they removed him so he put a curse on him, the curse of Chief Illiniwek. Bring him back and Illinois sports will return to prominence.

@mayjay My experience today was similar. I'd mentioned I'm in Zion and did a very popular trail today and got lots of nice game KU type comments. I kept thinking wow, this football is what people pay attention to. I missed one compliment however when I saw a guy in a Cubs shirt and I said "boo cubs", and he said, well I was going to say good game yesterday, but not now!
@kjayhawks Sometimes not watching creates the best memories. I was delivering for pizza shuttle during the 1-70 world series. They had a famous/infamous game 6 and no one was ordering pizza so we were all standing around watching the game. As soon as Denkinger blew the call and Dane Iorg drives in the winning runs the phone went crazy and I piled up deliveries and tips well into the next morning!
I had a unique way to find out about the game. I was hiking in Zion on a very high trail, just assumed I'd have to hear the score later. But on our way back to the car, I was getting a couple of texts from family and just decided to see if my espn app worked to see what the score was. It read 1:45, OU 33-KU32 and I monitored the game that way the rest of the way, 8000 feet above sea level, let out a yell after the long play to get us into scoring position, some hikers heard me wondered what the heck was going on! Awesome win, can't wait to see the highlights.
I'd rather have league games than games against Southern Montenegro. BIG has had a 20 game schedule for years and it's great. But the additions to the league I agree weaken it.
@bskeet Yes, when PBS Frontline does a 90 minute expose of the Astros cheating ways, well there's a lot of smoke there. Doesn't even matter if Boston/NY cheated as he alleges, that reeks of whataboutism. I suppose since other people cheat on their income taxes we should too!
I haven't heard if someone is televising but I'd imagine so. The thing is, I will be in Zion National Park and so for once, something more important than a KU game on TV is happening!
Anytime it's Illinois I am more interested than usual because of it being my home state and I used to be a Illini fan. Be interesting to me to see this years version of the Illini.
