@HighEliteMajor So glad to see that you seem to be enjoying the Journey. Great post. The was the grittiest game I've ever seen. Both teams had Triage Corpsmen on the bench taking care of the wounded. To watch Jamari who has been less than average this year play like he did - Even, Simon, the announcer that I respect, said, "I've never seen Traylor play this good, Ever!" Then the "Ice water in his veins," Freshman calmly hit the two free throws to tie, then, Lucas performs a circus act to block the last shot and get knocked flat on his tail bone. BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
From the beginning of this showing the WVU pressure to the end showing Jamari at his best, the evening was summed up in one play
No way I thought we could win after handling the pressure so poorly and then losing Perry then having Wayne go out. Like the Coach always says, if we put you on the floor, be ready to play.
It was as if clenching a tie made us relax in the first half. Then the subs said, "Hey we FRicken care!"
The Missouri game meant the most, but to see a line which had at one time, Svi, Devonte, Hunter, Lucas and Brannen able to come from 16 points down to pull it out in overtime with JAMARI playing the game of his life, with Lucas blocking the final shot before overtime and landing flat on his back, with Hunter being our only scoring offense for a six minute period. I'm sorry, but that is the hardest fought game by both teams benches.
Not the prettiest game but everything was left on the court, As Patton said, "God help me, I love it."

There are so many Star players that go unnoticed in the smaller conferences. Mid Majors that have Senior laden ball clubs become very scary. Conference championships for those games, where only the winner gets to go to the dance, makes watching those games more exciting than which Big Ten team drops to a 5 seed in a second round Conference game.

So 1-8 is not a three shooting slump.? If we were 6-20 like Texas we would have been playing to yesterday's strength. I see your point, I truly do, but winning 11 straight means a lot to very many fans. When Vaughn, Raef, Paul, Scott and that team lost, I realized that the NCAA is a Crap Shoot. Every year I want us to do well, and this year, my argument for Self's way was to win however we could to insure a better seed to insure advancing further in the Vegas Crap Shoot known as the NCAA Tournament.

Lucas uses his body very well on offense and defense and now he has figured out a way to quit missing the Bunnies.
WVU pressure was finally solved in the last game. With a Field House Whistle, we just have to hit the free throws that take place in the quietest moments inside the loudest venue in the country.
